Every so often, a product comes along that really nails what it's trying to do, and the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame is just such a piece. Upon reviewing this bed frame in person, it immediately becomes clear that it is not your average bedroom addition. As a TV bed frame, it undoubtedly offers a premium entertainment experience, but it also is strong on other aspects such as design, construction, and functionality.
Design and Features
Essentially a full gaming and entertainment hub dressed up as a stylish bed, the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame carries an undeniable aura of sleek sophistication. This is not just another TV bed frame, it is a clear statement for the user's love for modern technology paired with elegant design. And, while we're at it, let's talk about that TV. Tucked neatly within the foot end of the bed is a 32" LG Smart TV that comes as standard with this bed frame. It is paired with a Dolby Audio™ sound bar for a truly immersive audio-visual experience. We also love the fact that it can be upgraded in the future with some minimal DIY work.
The bed frame's design offers more than just visual appeal; it is also packed with clever features. An integrated headboard and media tray, both with in-built lighting, add to the bed's appeal and functionality. It also includes handy USB-C charging ports, a headphone jack, and two headset holders, one on each side of the bed frame. The bed comes equipped with a ventilated media tray designed to house the latest gaming consoles. These features make the Quantum a gamer's paradise.
Construction
The construction of the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame is impressive. Stability is key when dealing with a bed frame designed to hold your beloved TV and gaming console, and there should be no worries in that department with the Quantum. Its solid baseboard provides enhanced support. The fact it supports a large TV, gaming consoles, and other electronics, is no small feat. It is solidly designed in either modern black faux leather or a grey woven fabric finish.
The bed frame is not just about visuals and entertainment; it also comes with a side opening ottoman storage with a support bar. It provides a generous storage space, perfect for stashing games and other accessories. The convenience of having all related items at arm's reach is an added utility that cannot be denied.
Suitability
This product has limited appeal. The Quantum bed frame is not your average, run-of-the-mill bed frame. It's specifically designed and marketed for gaming enthusiasts and those who love watching TV in bed. It's a substantial investment, and for those whose primary need is a good night's sleep, the Quantum may seem like an indulgence. But for its target audience, the Quantum is a dream come true. The sheer joy of having an entertainment hub within such close proximity, paired with the convenience of a comfortable sleeping arrangement, is a winning combination for many.
What customers thought
The customer reviews reflect the positivity we felt when reviewing the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame. Most owners describe a solid, well made bed, and some single out the storage. One wrote "Very well made solid bed with lots of storage underneath". Several bought it for a son or daughter, and one parent said "The built in TV is a highlight as is the additional storage." Owners disagree about the build. Some found it easy, one calling it "so easy to build", while another warned "it will take at least 8 hours solo to make", and a third noted "the head board and foot board are heavy too". The complaints are about the sound and a missing part. One owner "Had an issue with speaker in the bed", another wrote "We had a issue with the audio recently", and one reviewer said the advertised headset holders never came: "ours arrived without them completely". The Dreams staff review praising the fluted headboard with integrated LED lighting that added a futuristic touch, the generous hidden storage, and the dedicated media tray really resonated with us. The word that comes to mind is 'immersive'. Whether it's a night of high-octane gaming or a relaxed movie evening, the Quantum delivers a top-tier experience.
The verdict
Upon our in-store review of the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame, we are left rather charmed by it. Its sleek design, solid construction, and lots of features definitely command attention. Yes, it is a sizable investment, but considering its stylish appearance, practical storage, and integrated high-tech features, it offers good value for money. Especially for those tech enthusiasts and gamers out there, this bed frame might just be your match made in heaven.
However, we'd be remiss if we did not highlight some areas of concern as well. Its high price tag is a factor. Buying a bed frame that costs more than many high-end mattresses may not appeal to everyone. Plus, while we liked the TV that it comes with, we did contemplate whether having a TV in a bed frame is essential for most people. What's more, the layout of your room will play a key factor, as a TV Bed demands more space. It's essential to consider these points before investing in this bed frame.
All that being said, the Quantum Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame is a standout piece in any bedroom. For those who want their bed to double as an entertainment hub, the Quantum offers that and more. Plus, for the renters and design aficionados out there, the Quantum is a statement piece, blending functionality with aesthetics in a way that just can't be ignored.
