Assembly gets a good report. The trundle arrives built, so most of the work is the main frame, and owners talk in terms of an hour or less, though a couple say it wants two people. One owner found the pre-assembled trundle a problem rather than a help: "the bottom comes pre-assembled making it impossible to get up stairs!"
The complaint that comes up most is the trundle's mattress depth. It only takes a shallow mattress, yet the listing does not give a maximum. One owner wrote that "the maximum mattress height that the bottom bed can accommodate is not very high". Another was told different figures by the store and by customer service. A third reports that "customer service confirmed it's 19cm". Set the trundle up and measure the clearance before you buy its mattress.
The other fit gripe is the main bed. A few owners found the main bed longer than a standard single mattress, which leaves a gap at the head and foot: "the gap at the top and bottom of the mattress as it doesn't fill the base", as one put it.
A small number had a worse time. One received a frame that was "badly jointed too much resin type glue applied to all joints". Another noticed scratches after assembly and "made an enquire to the customer service and I did not receive any response". They are the exceptions. Delivery is praised far more often than it is criticised, with "excellent delivery" and "The delivery was very efficient" typical of the comments. A few owners grumble about the amount of plastic packaging.
