I was pleasantly surprised on the weight of the Fowey mattress as felt really light for a deep mattress. the look of the mattress is really good as well ,with its stylish handles stitched with the Olympic theme the top had a luxury look & feel to it. my wife suffers with rheumatoid arthritis so wasn't sure if she would get on with the new mattress but after the second night of sleeping on it she said her hips already felt better & that she loved it so win, win, as they say happy wife ,happy life, I myself also found the mattress very comfortable, and supportive. so all in all a very good mattress for the price bracket it is & i would rate this mattress to friends & colleagues.

My son who is 14, totally outgrew his double bed so we needed something more suitable for his ongoing growth. My son tried out this King Size mattress in our local Dreams store, because you just dont get to try the quality, when you purchase online. He loved the comfort and support this mattress provided. Before the specific comments about the mattress I wish to say that the sales person, the process and the innovative sensing bed were excellent as were the delivery staff. The mattress is very well made. My comments therefore relate to my own personal experience. The sensing bed recommended a Firm Mattress however on trying a firm mattress in the shop as a side sleeper with arthritic knees my knees tended to be pushed out too far causing some pain.. I then reverted to the Dream Team Fowey 1000 Medium Firm Mattress which is a rare offering among manufacturers which had been the most comfortable of all that I had tried before using the sensing bed and was welll priced. My knees were not now in pain and the sales person noted that my knees were now aligned and the mattress appeared to be comfortable overall so I purchased this item and a matress duly arrived excellently delivered with the old one being removed to be recycled (at a cost). 5 weeks on and I am unfortunately consistently awaking with back shoulder and neck ache and the mattress appears to be softer than I thought I experienced in the shop but this is probably my imagination. I am going to seek advice on what my options are. So the lesson is that I should have gone with what the sensor bed technology indicated although the inputs did not allow for conditions such as arthritis to be considered. It just said other but very clever. One other thing of note is the statied sizing of the mattress. It states on the website 135cm x 190cm (4ft 6ins x 6ft 3ins). 135cm to which it seems accurately made is not 4ft 6" 54" but 53.15 ' . ( the tolerances stated on the website allow for this discrepancy) This means there is a gap around the mattress. Whilst this is I imagine to allow sufficient clearance fitting in a wooden bed frame such as I have , the compressibility of the mattress means one comes into contact with the wooden frame which can be painful with swollen legs when seated or putting on socks. A point I asked about at the intial discussion. So as I stated earlier I cannot fault the sales and delivery process which was excellent and the Matress is very well made.. However I thought it useful for readers to know of my experience and knowing now thatv perhaps I should have gone with the technology!

Whilst my daughter was driving me to Preston Hospital for an an appointment, we passed Dreams BedsShould we pop in there my daughter said, knowing it was something I needed. So I said Yes Please .Wowwhat an amazing selection, Id no idea there were so many different mattressesthe all important part of your bed !? Then I was asked to lie on a bed , which was geared up to where your body pressures actually were, on the bed.this helping them (Dreams) , show which mattress would be suitable for my body. It didnt take very long then.i knew when Id laid on the right one. Then I was told if I didnt like it,within a hundred days, I could change itamazing.!! I have slept on this mattress for over 2 months now and it still feels hard I have been advised it can take time for my body to get use to it how long though really I even put a mattress topper on it. It feels nothing like the one in the shop you lie and that and think your lying on a cloud would rather have the one in the shop to lie on. I am still in my 100 days I get this but then you could exchange for another and still not be 100% I did hear refunds not available when bought in store. I just hope over time does feel like the one in the shop and that is what I guess people expect when they test a mattress and then buy it.

The product itself is decent quality, the material feels durable and the springs evenly supported, and good value for the price. Even though I expected it to be slightly firmer and the foam feels slightly too soft which is down to preference. In my day to day I notice that it lacks edge support and sometimes can feel like sliding off the bed when sharing for two people. Unfortunately the delivery was over priced and slow and poorly communicated. I think if I could choose again I would choose something with less foam on top and with edge support built into it.

Mattress Review. Initially, I was uncertain about this mattress due to there being an aroma that lasted approximately 3 weeks. You could smell it when you entered the bedroom and most definitely when getting into bed. It smelt kind of like stale cigar smoke. Over the 3 weeks, it got fainter and fainter, with there being no smell at all now. The mattress itself is very comfortable. At first, it wasn't like all things you have to get used to it. It is very supportive and of good quality. I've not slept this well for a few years. So overall, a great mattress

Quite comfy, great value, mix of spring and memory foam - Ironically not one of the mattress that the dreams AI instore body scanner tech recommended but one of the comfiest beds I tried (very much personal preferences). Great value, in a toss up between this and a matress double the price but its hard to justify the extra spend when this one is that comfy. Only challenge is that this new mattress at home is not as comfortable as the one in the shop, I would assume it just requires breaking in like a good pair of shoes.

The sleepmatch advised we were medium to firm so we opted for this mattress. Unfortunately it just didn't suit me. I have ongoing hip pain which was made worse when we received our mattress. I persevered for 2 weeks after being advised to wait 30 days but couldn't wait any longer. We were able to swap to another mattress which was labelled medium and slightly more expensive which is so much better. It's so reassuring we had the 100 night guarantee

I know I needed a new mattress as mine was about 10 years old. I do suffer from joint pain/arthritis so with a limited budget I went into Dreams. I did the mattress test on their computerised setup so found what I needed. I tried a few in the shop but kept going back to the one I bought. I have had this mattress for 3 weeks now. I am just beginning to become comfortable with it, as is the case for most new mattresses. I love that it is light enough for me to turn without assistance and the handles are a big help with turning. The mattress appears to be be slightly smaller in length and breadth in comparison to my last one but this is a bonus as it allows me to tuck my duvet cover easily inside the bed frame.

I found the Fowey mattress online, and went into store to try it, amongst a few others that had been recommended to us. I think the combination of pocket springs and memory foam was what sold us - it feels firm but not solid, springy but not completely bouncy. The in store experience was great. Gary at Ashford store was very helpful, and so were the other staff. Unfortunately the mattress itself isn't giving me the support I need so my lower back is still aching. I'm going to wait the 30 days and then exchange it for something orthopedic. My partner and I bought this mattress together a couple months ago and it has been an excellent product. The memory foam layer on the top is brilliant, we looked at the fully memory foam but they just weren't for us so this was ideal. Packaging and delivery was brilliant too, came in a huge thick plastic sheet which we have used to store old duvet and mattress toppers in the loft!

All round a good solid mattress especially for the price , for a 1000 pocket springs it packs a good punch feels more like a 3000 spring mattress , absolute bargain. However one downfall i would say is that theirs not much of a medium feel Id definitely say its a firm even with the memory foam on top theirs not much give so if you love a firm mattress its a go too !!

Comfy mattress, took a week or so to get used to, as advised by Dreams. Bed is mega useful for its storage space. Hinges on the ottoman are stiff for the first few uses. This mattress has the support needed on it lower traditional base with the bonus of an added extra of a softer top layer. Went into shop to try out the mattresses I found this one to be most cost effective and best for money but on usage the buttons stick out when laying on the bed so have to get a mattresses topper as the buttons have plastic going though them instead of fabric which is uncomfortable

Loving this mattress it is super comfortable just the right fit not too firm or soft. Guest have commented on the great sleep they experienced, and not wanting to get out of bed in the mornings. Depth is approx 25cm and is incorrectly stated on the website.

The mattress is extremely comfortable, well made with high quality exterior, exactly as described med/firm was perfect as I suffer with my back. The top layer just melts when you lay on it very very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Though my wife is happy with this it's too hard for me. I've added a mattress topper but it's still a little too firm for my personal choice - good mattress but for me personally if you are a side sleeper i think it needs to be softer.

It's a properly good mattress and was a great price. We are finsing it a touch firmer than we expected or remembered from first try so have bought a topper. But overall it's fantastic and the customer service and delivery was brilliant.

Its a lovely mix of memory foam and spring. I find that with some memory foams, you get that squashed shape after a while, but not with this one. This is a perfect mix and super comfy. We got it on sale so added bonus!
