A perfectly suited bed frame is one of the most integral components of great sleep. The right bed frame not only supports and showcases your mattress but also aids in comfort, aesthetics, and sleep hygiene in your bedroom. Among the many choices we have for you, one stands out: the Tempur Arc Form Upholstered Bed Frame, which our tester tried in store.
How We Tested
Our tester looked it over in a Bensons store, checking its construction, design features, fabric quality and overall suitability. Our tester ran a hand over the upholstery and found it nicely finished, with no rough seams or loose bits.
Design and Features
The Tempur Arc Form Upholstered Bed Frame is indeed designed with sophistication, style, and substance. The standout feature of this bed frame is the clever disc base, designed to flex with your body, providing improved comfort tailored to your personal needs. The calming "Hygge" inspired headboard design hails from Scandinavian nature, offering an abundance of style to your sleep space. With a fantastic array of colour choices and five feet options, personalisation is taken to the next level, matching your aesthetic preferences impeccably.
Construction
When it comes to construction, Tempur delivers on its promise of designing clever and high-quality pieces, and this bed frame is no exception. Discs within the frame help to adjust to your body shape, offering superior comfort and support. Our tester gave the frame a good wobble in store and it felt solid, with nothing rattling or shifting about. Openings between the discs ensure proper airflow, improving mattress ventilation, and meeting specific comfort needs. With its solid build, a ten-year guarantee comes as standard.
Suitability
The TEMPUR Arc Form Upholstered Bed Frame delivers on aesthetics, comfort, and support. With its adaptable design, you can arrange softer and firmer zones for a customised sleeping surface. This frame is available in 150cm and 180cm size options, catering to a range of different sleep space sizes. Our tester sat on the edge for a minute and it held up well, without that sinking feeling you get on some softer bases. It's effortless to assemble, and no tools are required, making the setup quite simple.
The Verdict
Tempur's Arc Form Upholstered Bed Frame is a luxury bed frame that invites praises for its clever design, elegant aesthetic, and personalised comfort. However, its price puts it out of reach for most people, and to my mind a good share of that money is the Tempur name. Buy it if the flexing disc base is the thing you want and the money doesn't sting; if you just want a well-made upholstered frame, a plain sprung-slat frame does that job for far less.
