The Sealy Posturepedic Elevate Premier Gel Mattress is all about comfort with some smart design behind it. It's a well-made mattress from Sealy, built to offer more than just somewhere to lay down, but a sleep feel that’s supportive and genuinely comfortable.
A signature feature of Sealy's Posturepedic collection, the AlignSupport® Coil spring system, is skilfully embedded into the mattress. This dynamic system ensures you get personalised full-body support while keeping your spine aligned - great for reducing and managing back pains.
The mattress is equipped with UniCased® XT technology and a sturdy base plank that reinforce the mattress' perimeter and centre, respectively, preventing sagging and ensuring durability.
At the heart of the mattress is Sealy's MemorySense® ComfortCore™, which functions much like memory foam, adapting to your body's curves to offer personal comfort and support. Additional comfort is presented in the form of a Geltex layer, offering an ideal balance according to your body's needs.
Equally important is the mattress' hypoallergenic quilted cover, imbued with SmarTex® and ProShield® treatments to regulate temperature, manage moisture, and provide protection against allergens.
This premier mattress, with its firm tension, is ideally suited for back sleepers - providing ample spinal support to help curb any postural pains. It is also a great choice for front sleepers. However, it might not be the best match for individuals who prefer sleeping on their sides. If you're someone who loves a firm mattress with orthopaedic benefits, this is an excellent choice for you.
Its single-sided design allows for effortless maintenance. There are also secure handles that make monthly rotation easier for keeping your mattress in good shape.
With a 7-year guarantee and a depth of 27cm, this piece of luxury is designed to serve you for a significant duration.
This mattress is manufactured right here in the UK, ensuring home-grown quality and standards.
Buying the Sealy Posturepedic Elevate Premier Gel Mattress is about getting a mattress that supports your sleep properly. Its carefully considered features are designed to help you get a restful night's sleep and give your body the support it needs. Also, the mattress' build, combined with a 7-year guarantee, makes it a purchase that provides value for a long time. For those who value a firm mattress that provides strong back support, this is a product you can't afford to pass on.

Common questions answered by our team first, then questions shoppers asked the retailer, with the retailer’s own answers.
We've expanded on the specifications of the product to better help you understand its benefits.
Meets BS7177: 2008 for domestic low hazard use. Testing covers resistance to a smouldering cigarette and a small flame the size of a match flame, not suitability for hotels or care homes.
Marketed as spreading weight across the sleeping surface. The claimed benefit is reduced pressure at shoulders and hips, while the feel depends on your build and sleeping position.
Extra support around the mattress perimeter is meant to stop the sides compressing as much when you sit on the edge or lie close to it; try the edge in person if you can.
Measuring 27cm (about 10.6 inches) from underside to top, the mattress contributes to the bed's overall height and needs fitted sheets with sufficient pocket depth.
UK handcrafting is the maker's own claim, while National Bed Federation approval is a membership scheme auditing fire safety, clean fillings and honest labelling.
Handles offer a grip for repositioning. Follow the handling instructions, as these turning handles are not necessarily designed to carry the item's full weight.
Firm on the maker's own rating means less give than its medium, and it tends to appeal to sleepers who like more resistance. Compare within that maker's range.
National Bed Federation approval means the maker belongs to a scheme audited on fire safety, clean fillings and honest labelling, not comfort or firmness.
Coil springs bear weight beneath the comfort layers and contribute to the mattress's overall feel. The brand calls this spring system AlignSupport.
AlignSupport is Sealy's own coil spring system, forming the underlying structure that bears body weight beneath the mattress's comfort fillings.
Only one side is intended for sleeping. Do not flip it; rotate from head to foot as instructed by the maker to spread wear across the surface.
The materials are pitched as less likely to trigger allergic reactions, so their composition is worth comparing with any known sensitivities.
Sold as fire resistant, not fireproof, with no test standard or testing conditions specified, so keep it away from flames and heat sources.
UK handcrafting is the brand's own description, and the share done by hand differs between makers, so weigh the materials alongside it.
Geltex is a gel-infused foam used in comfort layers, cushioning the body through compression as weight settles into the mattress.
Allow for 27cm of thickness, about 10.6 inches, when selecting fitted sheets and calculating sleeping height above the base.
Firm is the brand's rating for a surface pitched as allowing less sinking; firmness scales vary between brands.
Reinforced edges are said to help the sides retain their shape when sat on and make more of the width usable.
Hypoallergenic means the materials were picked to cut common allergy triggers, the brand says.
Seven years of guarantee cover, with the retailer's terms defining which faults qualify.
Guarantee cover from the brand lasts seven years.
