Why our sleep experts loved it
I've had the Panda Kids Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow in my hands at home, and first impressions were that it's properly soft without feeling flimsy. Running my hand across it, the bamboo cover felt smooth and cool to the touch, and when I pressed down with my palm the memory foam pushed back slowly rather than just squashing flat.
The soft, eco-friendly bamboo filling cradles your child's head, while the memory foam provides all the support they need for a good night's sleep. When I gave it a quick 'squish test' and then left it for a minute, it sprang back into shape nicely, which is what you want from memory foam at this size. And to top it all off, this pillow is antibacterial and moisture-wicking, so it will help keep your child's pillowcase nice and clean.
The Kids Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow is a seriously soft, high-quality pillow that is highly breathable and wicks away moisture. For me, it feels like a good shout for kids who like that gentle, slightly 'huggy' feel around the head and neck, especially if they get a bit warm at night.
That said, memory foam is still memory foam, so if your child really hates that slow-responding feel, they might find it a bit odd compared to a bouncy fibre pillow. It's also on the softer side, so if your kid needs a higher loft (or tends to sleep right on the edge of the pillow), it can feel a touch low. And while the bamboo angle is nice, I'd still be washing the cover regularly because 'antibacterial' doesn't mean it stays fresh forever.
