Really taken with the smooth fabric and ample storage. The headboard is exceptionally plush and it's comfortable to lean against.

Really satisfied with this bed frame. It adds a touch of elegance to my room while also offering practical storage.

It is always difficult buying online without actually seeing the product or trying it out but I really liked the look of this bed and I wasn't disappointed when it was delivered. I had previously popped into the East Kilbride depot for help on an ottoman bed as I hadn't had one before, the man there explained everything in detail and was extremely helpful showing me a number of options, so much so he helped me to make up my mind to purchase the Jay Velvet finish Ottoman Bed Frame. The bed is currently being used in our guest bedroom and as yet hasn't been used so I can't comment on whether it or the new mattress I purchased from Dreams is comfortable or not but I can confirm that the bed itself is absolutely solid, it has lots of space underneath for storage and I along with everyone else who has saw it agrees that it looks great, very expensive and fits in with our room dcor beautifully.

Really lovely bed, the ottoman feature is very sturdy and I like the support bar that is there to keep the system in place when open. The frame sits flush with the floor which I like as it will stop dust from gathering under the bead which would happen even with a small gap. The colour is lovely, a muted blue so bold but not garish. There are a lot of velvet beds on the market but this is the only one I have seen with the chevron detailing and it was what made it stand out from the rest. Really happy with the purchase.

A beautiful, well made bed frame. The headboard is beautifully designed with a thick padded velour material. The complete base is covered in the material too. It looks stunning. I was dubiois that the ottoman does not have a hard base, instead the lining is velcroed onto the interiir of the base, but i actually think this maybe better, giving extra depth for storage and easy to clean. Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

The headboard is a bit wobbly regardless of how tight you do the bolts. Mine also came with a scuff and stain on the headboard even with all the packaging in tact. I sprung for the hard board bottom and with the mattress on, even with the pistons, its still really tough to open and close. Might loosen over time, but for now its not easy.

The Jay bed frame is a fantastic addition to the Dreams House Beautiful range. The quilt stitch design in the headboard is different enough to really stand out without being an over dominant feature. The velvet fabric has quite a short pile which gives a really high end feel and really compliments the 2 colours on offer.

My bedroom is now complete, I love the quality and the colour of this bed. It looks stunning in my bedroom, I love how it has a huge storage and I can store a lot of items under the bed and easily take them out. I went to many bed stores but nothing matched with the beauty and quality of this bed from Dreams.

Beautiful bed frame. Super handy storage. Paid a little extra for the solid base rather than the wooden slats in the hope it lasts longer. Check your sizes! The headboard section only just fitted up my stairs - stupidly I didn't think to check the sizes/ measure beforehand

Lovely bed. Nice, smooth ottoman function. Just be careful with the strap that you use to pull the bed up - its quite weak. But if you just use the gaps to pull the bed up, its great. I bought it for storage purposes and theres plenty of that.

Fabulous bed that is sturdy and elegant looking. Its a very dark navy blue colour. The only flaw is the handle used to lift the ottoman feature is made out of fabric, and this does sound like its slowly ripping when its getting lifted up.

Love the bed, its so beautiful, headboard is so soft (for any cat parents its a fabric theyre not interested in scratching) and the storage is just an additional win. Very easy to get to, very happy

Bed and mattress received yesterday. A few things to consider if looking to purchase this bed frame. We looked at both bed frames in store and chose the blue bed frame as the taupe one is darker than it looks on the website. It certainly isnt light cream. As I said, we looked at the bed frame in store but did not spot that the inside of the ottoman is only a fabric base cover not a solid base - the ottoman was filled with pillows! Disappointing. The double mattress does not fit snugly into the mattress base board. There is a gap all the way round of 2- 3 cm. We chose a solid base board but this will be more noticeable if a sprung slat is chosen as you can see into the bottom of the bed. We saw pillows!. The picture on the website shows the duvet tucked in all the way round. Lastly, we have wooden flooring and the bed moves! We need to get grips to put under all corners of the bed to stop this, as the floor will scratch. We bought this double bed along with a tempur mattress for a spare room.

We are delighted with this Ottoman bed. It has a large storage area and I like the fact that the bottom of the storage has fabric so items are not directly on the floor. We assembled it ourselves, which required a little extra brainwork at times, but it all went well. Some areas underneath the bed are a little difficult to access. (There is a cross bar on the super king size which inhibits easy access to the back, for example). The headboard is wonderfully comfortable and the bed is a good height. Altogether we are very pleased with our purchase. The Jay colour is lovely and rich.

We chose this bed after looking at several types at various showrooms. The choice at Dreams was very good, and well presented. As soon as we asked for the type of bed we wanted, the staff showed us were to look, and we very responsive when we asked questions - not just trying to sell. This bed is solid, and has lots of space underneath. The frame is easy to lift and put back - there's also a support you can use when it's open (similar to how a car bonnet can be supported). We really like the velvet finish, and the geometric design added to the new look that our bedroom now has.

Beautiful bed, we went for the sprung slats rather than solid base and kept the mattress from our last bed as it was a really good quality one with one rh of life left in it. I knew a good mattress makes a big difference to your sleep, but never realised the importance of the bed itself. This is luxury indeed, and a huge difference from our last bed. Masses of storage space. Building it wasnt straightforward and the brackets on our side panels were bent and we had to push them back into alignment. If it had t been for that it would have been 5 stars for sure.

The jay velvet finish ottoman bed , has a luxurious look and feel, the headboard is like another pillow for your head, it looks great as well. Not having the largest bedroom, the storage space is fantastic, so much better than when I just shoved storage boxes under my previous bed, with this bed I can see exactly where I have put things as the bed is so easy to lift, the depth is great for storage, its like having two extra wardrobes in the room. Also it looks so smart , it has helped change my room, Im well chuffed with the bed, and with the price.

1st class service from store assistant, very efficient and quick and informative about delivery etc, but done in a very pleasant and friendly manner with a lovely smile Delivery drivers rang me day before to give 2hr time slot for nxt day and rang twice on Delivery day to inform me where they were at.They arrived on time and were curtious and helpful. Bed was quite straight forward to put together but instructions would be better put in box 1 instead of box 4. Very pleased with the feel and look of bed and ottoman storage very roomy.

We needed a new bed, but we also needed storage space. This bed fitted our needs perfectly. I must say its a lovely bed. It is so stylish with a comfortable high headboard, and matching material around the sides and end. Its solid and very well made. The storage space is huge. We have fitted all our suitcases, 3 X-Large bags full of wool, Xmas decorations and more. The mattress lifts up easily and has a safety pole to lock it open. Would definitely recommend.

High quality beautiful bed, lovely size and design, the deep blue cover is stunning. The ottoman storage is massive, only consideration is Ive paired it with a tempur memory foam mattress which is very heavy, so lifting up the ottoman is a bit of a challenge. Also putting it down is harder too because there is a pole that helps stabilise the ottoman when its up, but its hard to move it out the way whilst also lowering the mattress.

I was worried the blue shade might be "too blue" or too much of a royal blue, but it's actually a gorgeous, dark shade of navy blue almost mixed with black, which means it's neutral enough to go with my primarily grey decor. It is sturdy, feels high quality and feels like I'm sleeping on a hotel bed. I am happy not to be sleeping on the floor anymore! I got it in the spring sale so it was a good value.

The bed arrived early on the day and the delivery guys talked us through which boxes to work through first and where the instructions are. The bed itself was easy to put together and the instruction were good enough to follow. There was a faulty part and i was instructed to call customer services. Lovely colour velvet bed frame with slats that replaced a flat bottomed divan. This supports the mattress so much better and provides all over support. The velvet finish is great and the ability to use storage under the bed is far better than the usual draws you find on divans. Bed was delivered on time and assembled by the delivery team without fuss. The delivery team were very helpful.

This seems to be a well-built and striking piece of furniture. It was way more simple to put together than anticipated and has a massive amount of storage below. It is quite heavy to lift the ottoman but we do have a very sturdy mattress on top. Great for people who like a high up bed. The headboard looks great but the padding could be deeper for comfort watching TV in bed.

It's a beautiful bed, didn't take us too long to assemble. It's taller than we realised though, so we are higher off the ground which isn't ideal for our bedsharing 1 year old but oh well. The colour is much darker than it appeared in the shop, where it was far more blue, now it appears almost black it's so dark which is a shame. Masses of storage space inside.

This is a beautiful bed and ample storage for all our needs! The build quality is great. The only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 is the bed lifting mechanism. They give 1 cloth loop to lift the top which is neither strong enough nor ergonomically to lift especially taking into account a heavy mattress on top.

Lovely bedframe and headboard. The bed looks wonderful in our bedroom and is well made and sturdy. The ottoman storage space is extremely spacious and keeps things out of the way and tidy. It took a few hours to put together (largely as only one of us did it), but it was relatively easy to do.

Really lovely bed but it loses a star as the first order had incorrect dimensions so the bed didn't line up correctly so had to wait another week to get a replacement. Secondly I'm worried about the handles longevity, every time I lift the bed it sounds like it wants to tear apart.

After having checked Dreams website and saw this model, and went in store and Leah showed me around the different options. There was a temporary discount so I managed to get 200 off, I also decided on the flat base as opposed to the slates, as per Leah's advice. Super helpful!

The Jay Ottoman bed is just what we were looking for and after viewing a number of different beds this gave us the storage space we required especially the depth which exceeds most ottomans on the market. The quality of the bed is very good and the velvet finish is great.

Good solid bed which was fairly easy to put together although a second person does help. We opted for the solid baseboard. I would say the ottoman lift is a bit more work than it was in the store but this could be down to our mattress weight or will get easier with use.

Great bed, delivered and assemmbled by Dreams. Very efficient delivery and installation leaving no packaging or mess behind. Gas lift works perfectly, great ammount of storage space with easy access. Overall very happy with my purchase and it looks great. 5 Stars.

The headboard is what drew me in, I went to numerous shops looking but kept coming back to this one. Its detail is amazing , the quality is outstanding and it very useful with the storage space underneath. I underestimated how much I could actually fit under it.

Great bed just what we need in our small flat to give us more room for our things, Mattress is nice and we both like it and have sleep well on it. Will be back to dreams for some new pillows, having also bought a new duvet set for the bed. Thank You Dreams

I love our new bed, it's the perfect addition to our room. I love the simple yet eye catching headboard. The under bed storage gives us lots of room to store away things that we don't regularly use. The bed has a good quality finish and is comfortable too.

We absolutely love our new bed, weve had it for 2 weeks and we are so impressed with it. It has ample storage and makes our bedroom looks so much bigger. We are also so impressed with the customer service we received from the Dreams Staff.

Storage was main motivation and theres plenty. Chose colour to not clash with oak furniture in bedroom. Complements well, so pleased. Hope it lasts long and hinges hold. Not too heavy to lift but youll have to put your back into it

Stunning bed! So well built and solid as a rock. The storage is great and it looks fantastic. Dreams Eastbourne were so helpful and the two delivery drivers had it built in under an hour. They were also really nice and clean!

The bed is so comfortable, and the storage under it is amazing, so much more than the previous ottoman bed. The mattress stays in place and doesn't slip away from the headboard unlike previous bed. Really pleased with it!
