Built-in desk is perfect for small rooms or for children transitioning into school years.

Ideal for kids having sleepovers.

Good quality and solid furniture grade wood.

Expensive compared to traditional bed frames, but offers far more than the norm, giving a child more space to play and grow.

Like all high sleeper and bunk beds, the depth of mattress is a limiting factor that falls in line with safety requirements.

Assembly time could take two people quite a while since there is plenty of different parts that make up this multi-use frame.

Why our sleep experts loved it

The Anderson High Sleeper Desk With Chair brings a fresh, innovative spin to traditional bed frames and is an efficient and multipurpose solution, perfect for children growing into their school years or smaller rooms in need of maximised space.

The high sleeper isn't just a bed, but a comprehensive living solution for sleep, work, and relaxation. This well-crafted piece of furniture, built from resilient pine wood, is available in a chic grey or a crisp white finish, both able to blend beautifully into any existing interior and is optimised for children with everything from the size of the different pieces through to the unique chair and desk environment.

A unique selling point of this bed frame is its integrated desk and chair bed. Perfect for hosting sleepovers or accommodating family guests, the pull-out chair swiftly converts into a temporary bed, offering a comfortable sleeping spot. It solves those typical dilemmas of finding extra room when guests drop by unannounced. Also, when not in use as a bed, it functions as a personal workspace for studying or remote working.

Designed with safety and convenience at the forefront, the bed frame includes a slanted ladder that can be sturdily affixed to either side, allowing flexibility in arranging your room. Furthermore, it can support a weight of up to 100kg (including the mattress), ensuring it remains a dependable choice as your child grows.

Setting up the Anderson High Sleeper is a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. It's expected to take two individuals about two hours to assemble. If DIY isn't your thing, the company provides an assembly service for an extra charge.

The High Sleeper arrives in seven separate packages of varying weights and sizes. Delivery is fulfilled by one of Dreams' partners, who will deliver to your preferred room within the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) in approximately six weeks. The delivery team will reach out to you to arrange a convenient delivery date.

This unique children's bed frame can also accommodate UK standard single mattresses up to 15cm deep. Our premier partners all offer a selection of children's mattresses, which are 15cm deep and suitable for high sleepers, cabin, and bunk beds.

An additional comfort when purchasing the Anderson High Sleeper is its extensive eight-year warranty that can be purchased alongside. The offer covers structural defects in your bed or mattress, including excessive loss of resilience or shape, frame defects due to breakage or warping, cracking of solid wood furniture, among other issues.

Price-wise, the Anderson High Sleeper is available for £799 at time of writing. While this might appear on the pricier side for a bed frame, the versatile use, quality materials, and added convenience make it a reasonable investment.

In summary, the Anderson High Sleeper Desk With Chair provides a blend of style, function, and durability, making it a serious contender for families seeking a space-efficient solution. Its robust build, space-saving design, and practical features make it a truly valuable addition to any child's bedroom.

We bought this last month for our six year old son to give him more floor space to play in his room. He absolutely loves it and find it really cosy! The desk is a fantastic feature and Theres plenty of room to put a stool for when working/playing there. The chair bed is a brilliant feature. It is not attached to the bed frame, so can be positioned anywhere else you want. It works really well as a place to sit and read together at bed time and is fantastic for sleep overs. His little sister has already given it a trial run! Its super easy to pull out and put back together. We paid for assembly. Well worth the 49.... took the two men less than an hour to put it together and totally hassle free for us! My husband has since attached the frame to the wall to make it feel more secure and not able to move when he jumps around on it!! All in all really happy with this bed and I spent about 12 months looking at different options before we bought this one. A lot of them fit European size mattresses which are 10cm longer, so if youre tight on space, thats another good reason to go for this one.

Bought this last month for our 6 year old as there is limited space in her bedroom and she likes sleepovers so went for the full draws, book case and bed settee, I agree with other review that the bed isn't as sturdy as you'd like when climbing the ladders, its a shame there isn't a way to secure it more than the 2 screws! Looks great though and the draws/book case good quality, only other gripe is the instructions for the bed which aren't the most straightforward, clear head needed and an afternoon! Daughter was a little nervous first night but now she loves it!

I bought this bed a couple of months ago for my 6 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and it looks great in her room! The only things that I was disappointed with is the bed feels quite wobbly when you climb the ladder, and it's very creaky when she's in it, we can hear her moving from our bedroom across the hall. I didn't expect this considering the price we paid for the bed, I thought it would have felt more sturdy. We had dreams assemble the bed, so we know it's safe and assembled correctly. Apart from that the bed is lovely.

We had the bed assembled by the team - and my goodness they did an amazing job- about 1 month ago. Our 6 year old loves her new bed and the slanted ladder makes me confident shes save getting up onto the bed. The one frustration is the noise of it creaking when she moves in the night- shes a slip of a thing so dont think its her weight! Other than that it looks great, is very well constructed and shes happy with it.

Bought this new bed solution for my sons room. With two adults it was surprisingly easy to build although there were a few fiddly bits. The storage and pull out bed are fantastic additions and make the most of the limited space in his room. It looks great and hes over the moon with it. I had read some past review that the bed was noisy but so far this has not been the case. Very happy.

Brilliant bed, son loves it and now cant decide whether to sleep up high or on the futon bed now! Desk area is great for him and has made his bedroom more accessible with more room to play. The construction of the bed does take a considerable amount of time to build, but worth it as you want to make sure you have done it right.

Good bed frame which allows for more free floorspace in a small bedroom. We paid for assembly which was easy to organise and the guys that came to build it were polite and got on with the job with no hassle. Frame is a little wobbly though. It could do with some more cross braces on the rear of the frame to make it more sturdy.

Great way to get your living room back from the kids! My son loves his new bed, and now has his own chill out space under his bed, love the modular system, which can be assembled on either side of bed, and easy to put together, took about an hour or so, depending on the components you purchased.

If you remove the mattress from the chair bed, will the chair slide under the desk? (I believe it should since in a previous question it was stated that the desk is 72cm high and the chair is 69cm high but I just wanted to confirm). Thank you

Answer: The height of the chair without cushions is 68.6cm the clearance between the floor and the bottom of the desk is approx 70cm however there is a support bar under the desk that shortens this gap making it very tight. Many thanks

We are considering this bed frame for our teenagers small bedroom. Is it suitable for a teenager? Is it sturdy enough?

Answer: This bed is certainly sturdy enough for a teenager. The main consideration we would recommend is whether a single size bed is large enough for comfort reasons.
