I've been sleeping on this topper for around a month! I had a very firm mattress...also I suffer with hip pain...I really feel its helped as I haven't been waking up pain whereas before I would wake up at least once every fortnight. Only negative thing is I feel it could have been a little thicker. Though so far so good! If it last 3 years I'll be happy

I bought this topper to soften up the very firm mattress we recently purchased from Dreams. The mattress was proving to be too firm and was exacerbating back and hip pain. Staff in store recommended this topper. It is very expensive for the super king bed but makes enough of a difference to ease at least the hip pain.

When first opened the smell was awful like it had gone mouldy even after stripping to air the foam for 24 hours & washing the cover theres still a slight smell, I dont find it very cooling either the only plus side is its very comfortable & I am getting a better nights sleep

Bought this topper from Nottingham about a week ago, where the staff were really helpful. It really is comfortable supporting well but soft too. It's cool to start but doesn't keep you cooler than any other mattress, but we love it for extra comfort would highly recommend.

An absolute game changer!!! So glad I invested in this mattress topper. I didn't want it for its cooling effect. I wanted to improve my sleeping comfort and be sure I was supporting all the main pressure points when I sleep.. iv been having problems with nerve pain down my left leg and I'm a back sleeper so found in a morning before I got my topper my back was particularly bad when I first got up..In less than a week of having this topper on my mattress I am "Pain free!!" Its like a miracle...its because it's totally contouring my lower back and supporting it...I would 100% recommend this Topper. Plus The salesman at the Chesterfield branch was AMAZING...So helpful I tried before I bought I had all the different options of toppers explained to me and so realised this was absolute the one for me. After having a feather and down topper which couldnt be washed and after trying memory foam toppers we visited Dreams in Caerphilly on a recommendation. The salesman was very helpful and informative and we purchased the Therapur Actigel and we werent disappointed. We both had the best nights sleep we had I. Years. Theres a bit of a funny smell when you first open the packaging but you do not notice it when you get into bed. Highly recommended

It really is cool and soft. They did give me the choice of two and I am glad to have chosen the softer variant that I like. Now, its a real pleasure to go to bed, and to move the hands and legs to search for cooler areas in the middle of night. It doesn't make me feel cold but just cozuly cool to touch feeling as an added bonus to the soft cushioning effect. I still preferred this to the other more expenditure options, surprisingly.

Brought a good nights sleep back.Topper with actigel brilliant as previous topper too hot( woman of a certain age!) Daughter had the Dreams Therapur mattress and she has the most comfortable bed in the house. I used to use her bed when she was away as could guarantee a good sleep. After doing a bit of research, I decided on this mattress topper as although it was expensive, it had the best reviews. I bought two one for a mattress I had that so firm I couldn't sleep on it and one for my main mattress which was lacking support. Would reccomend. I could feel all the springs in my mattress but couldn't afford to buy a new one. This mattress topper is a good thickness, I can't even feel my mattress underneath and it's so comfy. There might be cheaper mattress toppers available but I'm glad I spent a bit more money on this as I'm sleeping so soundly, it's really changed my life.

The topper itself is lovely to lie on soft, cosy and makes the bed feel much more relaxing. It definitely adds comfort and helped take the edge off my mattress. The only issue is that it doesnt always stay in place and tends to move around a bit in the night, so it needs adjusting every now and then. If it stayed put better, it would be perfect

The topper is a welcome addition to an old mattress and was an absolute bargain at half price. I didn't find any problem with smell - it dissipated after a few hours following the guidelines for airing. I think the topper has helped lessen the pain and stiffness of arthritis, though not to the extent I had hoped after reading some reviews.

I have given the topper 4 stars, my reason for this is, its comfortable, my sleep has definitely improved and it doesnt make you sweat. My reasons for not giving it the full 5 stars is, it could most definitely do with being a little bit thicker and I think the strap system could do with being improved as I am a restless sleeper

I bought a single and a kingsize, the single was lovely but doesn't keep you cool, the king-size was a bit lumpy and doesn't smell very nice even after airing it, ive had it a couple of weeks now and it still smells, they definitely don't keep you cool, the king-size is still lumpy so disappointed with that one

This makes any bed super comfortable without taking away from the support of the mattress. I sleep a lot on my side and sometimes a hard mattress is painful for my shoulder. Takes the edge off a hard mattress - though doesn't turn it super soft. I don't now get the hip aches I used to get so it must be working well I think. The smell people complain about has gone within a few days - air it well to start with and no problems after that at all.
