The TheraPur® Memory Foam Ice Pillow from Dreams is a high-quality pillow that promises to keep you cool throughout the night while still remaining comfortable and ideal for a number of back and side sleepers. We’ve taken a lot of feedback on this particular product from customers who have reported that it lives up to its promise, with some noting that it is even more comfortable than traditional memory foam pillows.
Analysing consumer feedback was particularly interesting with customers finding value for money particularly good given the volume of the product provided. What I mean by this is that you get a deeper and bigger pillow than perhaps you have been used to previously. The benefit of this larger surface area is that it is able to spread the heat more effectively and since it is made of good quality memory foam you’ll find it particularly good at retaining shape and maintaining a slightly firmer feel that will soften with time.
Some customers found that it took a couple of days to get used to the pillow, but once they did, they found the true value in the product and migrated all other pillows in their hour to this product. Others noted that since sleeping with the TheraPur pillow, they have felt adequately supported and have been sleeping better as a result.
It wasn’t all great feedback however with a few lingering issues. To start, a few customers mentioned that the pillow has a strong chemical smell initially, but that it dissipates after a few days. This is in keeping with the memory foam compound utilised within the product and is a very common complaint among many purchasers of foam based products. There were other comments surrounding the warmth of the pillow, exclaiming that the “ice” features of the pillow are perhaps a little superficial and that the memory foam will still prove a little “warming” while you sleep. This is a bit disappointing given the product's niche is around keeping you cool, although this isn’t entirely surprising given memory foams' warming properties.
One customer noted that the pillow didn't slow down the amount of migraines they have and another said that it was not worth the money as they still overheat. However, many customers love the pillow and find it very comfortable, with one customer saying that it's a "game changer for women of a certain age who get warm in bed at night!"

While some customers may not find it suitable for them, the majority of the customers who have tried it have found it to be worth the investment.
