We were a bit unsure at the quality of this for such a low price but needed to replace our bed urgently. We are both pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely looking, really good quality that feels sturdy and is very comfy. It was easy to put together, instructions suggested 1 hr and it did take the two of us 1 hour to build it. I loved how all the parts were stored inside the headed board which zipped open, making the delivery just one box. We needed to remove the parts from the headboard to be able to then move them upstairs to construct. My only 'dislike' about the bed is how low it is as it prevents me from using plastic under bed storage. It doesn't feel too low when you just sit on the bed, it is just the gap between the floor and bed frame. I've had to purchase some fabric under bed storage containers that are not as tall so problem sorted.

Ordered online and hadn't seen it in the flesh, prior. Impressed with ordering and delivery process, being kept informed. I thought 49 delivery was a bit steep but at least it was placed in the bedroom for me. It is heavy! It took us ( 2 pensioners one of whom is autistic) 2.5 hours to assemble. All the parts were present and the instructions were very clear. Alignment of the holes wasn't bad, just a bit fiddly. Velcro slats are SUCH a good idea. The fabric is lovely. Yes, it's a bit low but we knew this. It isn't a problem. I have dropped one star because the side fixings joining the 2 side lengths together are just plastic and feel rather flimsy and delicate. Time will tell how well they last. Generally we're pleased with our purchase.

Great matress. Very comfortable. The bed frame - I want to write the frame was easy to put together, which in truth was, but with one exception,.... the bottom left leg fitting was over quarter of an inch off, which meant a deal of sticking a screw driver into the side bar and leg fitment to try to realign. After 20 minutes of prizing, swearing, prizing and more swearing (with threats of throwing the bed at the wall) the allen key bolt fitted. All it would take is to reset/test the 'body jig' and realign. If it wasn't for this issue, 5 stars would be awarded. As other reviewers have mentioned the same issue, maybe take note of reviews.

Neatly packaged with parts, tools, fixings and instructions all inside the zip backed headboard. Construction fairly straight forward. Bed is lower than expected but still a good 12 inches of storage under the slats. Full width connected velcro down slats are a nice feature. Plastic sideboard connector block doesn't scream durability but so far so good. All in all good value for money.

Actual bed looks similar to photos. There are several visible black metal supporting legs not shown in the photos, and the wooden legs, look even less "wooden" in real life, which is a shame. But overall we're happy. It was fairly simple to assemble, though some of the holes didn't line up, so we had to use some brute force to get them aligned enough for the screws to go in.

Well I must say I was extremely impressed with this bed. I couldn't believe that everything for the bed was stored inside of the headboard and all was zipped away and packed inside well. The bed was easy to build with step by step instructions. The bed is well built and had no problems with it. The whole design is spot on. It looks amazing too. Definitely worth the money.

What an amazing bed. Simple to put together - easier with 2 people, but only took about 30 mins. Lovely finish, and great quality - an absolute bargain. The delivery was on Christmas Eve and the guys who delivered it were very helpful and friendly, and bang on time. All the communication around the delivery was superb too - great service!!

Arrived perfectly packed within the headboard, very ingenious and a great space saver. Went together well, a bit fiddly when connecting headboard but otherwise straightforward. Good strong frame, well designed and very nice to look at. Instructions were easy to follow and the bed was built up in a couple of hours. Love my bed. Good quality and sturdy as well. Put it together myself, slightly fiddly when connecting the frames together at the corners, just make sure you have a 45 degree angle and then it'll work. Very comfy bed, love the headboard, and delivery was good as well. Very pleased, thank you.

This is the second Hattie bed frame Ive had. Excellent with useful storage underneath although not very high. Couldnt fit storage boxes under so keep duvets in plastic bags. Bed frame good colour but I have put royal blue throw on one of them. Keeps it clean and looks great.

There is a large gap all the way around the bed so the slats show - I suspect Benson's will blames the new Emma mattress and Emma mattresses will blame Benson's. Either way I am disappointed and unhappy.
