What’s the difference between solid and sprung slat?
Also, is there a waiting time on orders at the moment? Thank you
Thank you for reaching out with your questions. To answer your first, this bed would be available within 7 days, depending on your postcode.
With regards to your second question. Solid slats are bars of spaced out timber that lie across the bed frame to support a mattress. On a double size, they tend to have one centre support leg too. Sprung slats are similar in that they’re also made from timber, but slightly curved to offer more support. The slats are split down the middle so the left and righthand sides of the bed each have separate sets of slats. Sprung slats also have a metal frame and double bed sizes tend to have three centre support legs.
