The whole process with Dreams was seamless. We looked online and then went to store to test out the mattresses and look at the beds in person. We used the sleep machine to test which mattresses were right for us - which was very helpful. The sales assistant in store was so helpful and genuine. We were able to complete our whole purchase instore and organise the delivery date. We were then able to move the date a couple of times too to accommodate our decorating needs in our new home. When the delivery men arrived they were careful when moving the new bed into its new location - we paid for assembly and it was the best thing! It took away the stress. Thank you dreams for a 'dreamy' experience!!

This is a beautiful looking bed and the headboard really makes it. The material of the bed is really nice and will go with any decor. I risked ordering without viewing as the closest store with it on show was over 2 hours away. With regards to assembling it, it definitely took us a lot longer than an hour, and I wouldn't go as far as saying it was easy. As much as I love how it looks the sides are quite flimsy, the base of the ottoman storage cheap looking as well as the plastic legs of the bed considering the high price tag. Can't fault the service received from the staff in store. They were able to show a sample of the material in store even though they didn't have the bed on show.

We love this bed. We selected this bed from an initial choice of five, we went through all the reviews and weighed up everything. But its well worth it. Base is solid, lifting mechanism is smooth, the lining in the base does fit well. We have filled canvas zipped boxes which all fit well and this hasnt pulled the lining away from the frame. We just purchased the frame, but our mattress fits perfectly. Theres also no squeaking when we need to get up in the middle of the night and to top it off, it looks amazing. We love this bed, its stylish, practical and delivery was quick and all well organised. Thank you Dreams!

Bed is great, looks really good and comfortable to sleep on. The bottom of the storage ottoman is just a thin piece of material and doesnt have a quality feel but this isnt visable day to day. Delivery was okay... delivery men scraped up our stairwell walls and still waiting to hear back from dreams on this. Everyone i speak to at customer service is lovely and accomodating but nothing seems to come it. We also ordered a super king duvet with our purchase and this has been sent out incorrectly twice now, third duvet arrived today - fingers crossed!

I looked at a few beds on different sites while trying to decide and kept coming back to this one, love the colour as its very neutral so goes with anything, so comfortable but the icing on the cake was the storage. I cant believe how much space there is. Bonus was the customer service, nothing was a problem even though I bought this in lockdown, service was 5* all the way right down to delivery and completion of my bed. If youre looking for a bed, I highly recommend Dreams. Thank you so much for your patience and great service!

Dont want to leave my bed!! What more is there to say. We purchased this bed in the sale which we thought was an absolute bargain. Everyone comments on how beautiful the bed is, especially the headboard. Its a centre piece to our room. We got the superking and I now never want to leave my bed (not sure if this is a good or bad thing when I need to be somewhere). Would highly recommend. Also went In store and felt so comfortable talking to the sales people, very welcoming and accommodating.

Great looking Ottoman bed, I would say its more of light grey colour but still beautiful..it was kind of easy to assemble most of the bed with the help of two people but I needed help from dreams because I couldnt assemble springs parts (which they only charged me 35 because I assembled most of the bed myself but still had to wait another week for them to come out and fit it, I would say pay the 70 for them to come out and fit the bed up for you because its easier and less stressful!

I went into the store looking for a double bed with drawers. However when I walked around the Charlie caught my eye. It had been reduced by over 500 and upon looking at the ottoman mechanism seemed very sturdy following a bad experience with a previous ottoman bed. Its a gorgeous colour and the fabric feels nice. I love how high the head board sits and also the storage space under the bed. Really happy with my purchase. Not to mention the fabulous guys that installed it.

Instructions need a review, says not to lift ottoman without mattress but then you have to, to attached the gas struts. Also the hoops to stop the mattress slipping when lifting the frame are not bolted in place and fall off. At this price point this is really not on, they have nothing to hold them in place, they rattle too, I've had to take them off. The price of this bed has gone up by 100 since I bought it, it was not on sale.

Delivery communication was very good and guys were very professional. My cat was jumping around while they were assembling the bed but they were very careful about it and making sure that my cat is safe . They could have asked me to take the cat away but they didnt which shows their respect for pets . Bed is only 2 weeks old . It looks solid and elegant . I am sure it will last for many years . I recommend buying from here

Love my new Dreams bed. The mattress is nice and comfy, not too firm not too soft!!!! and it's a joy to swing my legs over and for my feet to touch the floor, unlike my old bed which was very high.....I'd have to 'launch' myself to get into bed!!!!! As for the Ottoman base, it's fantastic!!!! so much storage and I'm not particularly strong but even I can raise the mechanism up with not too much difficulty. Thank you Dreams.

The bed I purchased is perfect and better then I imagined as this was my first time purchasing a bed online without seeing it in person so safe to say, I am over the moon with my choice and also the service provided and how often I was kept up to date and upon the day of delivery, the driver also contacted me to keep me up to date and also gave clear instructions for me to follow as I chose to assemble the bed myself.

Q1: When assembling, could the headboard wings be left out without affecting the integrity of the bed? Q2: at what height exactly is the bar (seen on the picture) inside the ottoman located? Q3: How far away are the sprung slatts?

Hi , in terms of the ottoman bed does the mattress have to be a certain weight in order for it to not break.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out with your question. We currently dont specify a weight limit to the bed frames, however all bed frames are tested to the British Standard EN1725 structural test for strength and stability..

Hi. Does the ottoman have a hydraulic lifting system ? How much effort does one need to put in to pull it up?
Answer: The ottoman has gas pistons which help with lifting the frame. How easy the lift mechanism is, is a personal matter however the gas pistons do lift the majority of the weight.

What depth of mattress do you recommend with this bed?
Answer: Good afternoon This is entirely dependent on personal preference. Please note that the higher the mattress the less of the headboard that you would be able to see. .

The Charlie Ottoman shows a max recommended weight as 55kg for superking, but youve answered a previous question saying that there isnt a weight limit for the mattress? Which is correct?
