The hazard

The product presents a serious suffocation risk as it has a hood and was marketed for use as an infant sleeping bag. If a baby is placed inside a hooded sleeping bag and left unattended, the baby’s natural movement may cause the hood to cover the head/face, presenting a suffocation hazard.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

From the official product safety notice on GOV.UK, published by the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

Checking yours

The GOV.UK page title for this one carries no reference number, but the notice itself gives PSD 2412-0066.

Why it matters for your bed or cot

This is the blue star version of the BeyBee wrapper OPSS reported in grey earlier in October 2025. Grey or blue, the hood is the same.
