I bought this mattress as I wanted one made from natural materials, mainly so that at the end of its life it will break down, rather than sit in landfill. The blurb talks about silk, damask, wool and recycled steel, leading me to think that the mattress is 100% natural. Only when I put the mattress on the bed do I see that the label says "natural fillings working in harmony with premium quality man-made fibres". Thought i'd point it out so's you know! Bit disappointing, but, nevertheless, it's a very comfortable mattress - soft and plush on the top, but more on the firm side of medium overall. I'm sleeping really well, and right through the night - rather than waking up uncomfortable at various times. One other point (i don't know the answer, but we need to find one I think!), The mattress came wrapped in 10 square metres of plastic. So much for my low-impact-on-the-environment mattress! Anyway, you're unlikely to be disappointed with the sleeping experience.
