What Makes The Mammoth Rise Plus Ortho Mattress Great?

This product is unlikely to cause any sort of allergic reaction. Ideal if you suffer from any sort of allergy problems

Made in the UK

These are made and manufactured in the UK, meaning that they all meet the same exceptional quality and durability that we expect from genuine UK manufacturing.

Depth: 24cm

Most experts recommend a minimum 10 inches, 4 inches on the top layer and 6 inches for the core so this size is an ideal balance of size and performance. Generally, the heavier the load the deeper the mattress should be.

Handcrafted in the UK

Handcrafted in the UK means that the product is built here, by people being paid a fair and honest wage using certified and safe products of good quality and construction. UK manufacturing is some of th best in the world and all of that is reflected in this product

Firm mattresses are great for those looking for an extra bit of support, either because they have a higher BMI and leanm toward the heavier side, or because they have joint and muscle pain and appreciate a decent amount of support while they sleep. If you are not actively looking for a firm mattress it may be wise to consider something else from the range that is perhaps closer to the medium firmness rating

Pressure Relief

One of the big complaints when settling into a new mattress is that it does not feel as comfortable as they hoped, where this mattress shines is in the enhanced pressure relief that it offers. Each part of your body exerts different amounts of pressure against the mattress and through the use of springs and foams, these products are able to offer significant pressure relief as a result across the entire body.

Knitted Cover

It is common in the industry to have a knitted cover, these covers can come in a variety of patterns but are typically hard wearing and do not present problems for consumers.

24cm deep

A depth of 24cm is about right for a good quality mattress. While the depth of a mattress is not necessarily a guarantee of quality, you typically cannot get the best comfort and suport out of a thin mattress

10 Year Warranty

A mattress warranty covers physical defects in a mattress, such as sagging over a certain threshold when not in use. Most mattress warranties last between 5-20 years, but as it is recommended to replace your mattress every 7-10 years this warranty will cover the life of your mattress.

Single sided means only one side is comfy. Positives are you only need to rotate the mattress occassionaly rather than the more cumbersome rotate and flip. Downside is the lifespan of the product may suffer as a result, only marginal, but worth mentioning.

Approved by the National Bed Federation

The NBF is one of the most prestigious awarding federations in the industry, helped slightly by the fact that it is one of the only, however, it is still a great source of comfort knowing that this product holds approval by the team

Due to their larger size, Superking mattresses are delivered flat and unrolled

Rolled up mattresses are ideal for anyone looking at trying to get a mattress up a tight staircase or in a car to bring home from the shops. Do not missunderstand just how troublesome getting a mattress up stairs can be. Heavy and cumbersome, sometimes a rolled up mattress that expands to the side of a full mattress anyway, may be the better option

Fire Resistant

Fire resistant does not mean the product will never catch fire, rather, it will not go up in flames quite so quickly. Resistant to fire in the same way that I am resistant to kisses, sooner or later you end up giving in.

Medical grade foam

Part of Mammoth's perfectly-designed Rise mattress range

Scientifically proven to provide a better night's sleep and enhanced comfort

Delivered carefully rolled up - easier for you to handle and better for the environment

Roll up mattresses, also known as bed-in-a-box mattresses are fairly new to the scene, first cropping up via the likes of Eve and Simba back in 2016. Since then there has been a rise in popularity due to their lower price point (due to delivery and storage costs) and their convenience for getting up stairs. Typically these mattresses have much the same support and comfort as a traditional mattress even with the positive points mentioned.

A firmer feel mattress, perfect if you prefer plenty of support

Firm Tension Support Mattresses are suited to those who prefer sleeping on their front and back. Typically sleeping on your back helps ensure the spine remains aligned throughout the night and is the most natural sleeping position that can prevent twisting and turning. A firm mattress ensures that a high level of support contours around your body, alleviating pressure across your entire frame in a more even manner than that of a soft mattress, most notably in the hips, neck and shoulders. Finally, if you are suffering from neck or back pain, a firm mattress can help alleviate these problems and result in a better and more relaxed sleep for many years to come.

Orthopaedic for enhanced support and care

Featuring a deep 4cm comfort layer of Mammoth's Medical Grade™ Foam

Medical Grade™ Foam is naturally cooling for a fresher sleep

PostureCell technology provides pressure-relieving postural support

Three support zones ensure body weight is evenly distributed across the mattress

Base foam layer is sturdy and supportive

Beautifully designed soft-touch quilted cover provides enhanced comfort

This mattress comes with a quilted cover. Many people overlook the cover as a need for consideration however, the right cover can add additional comfort and in the case of this one here, adds quilted comfort that offers a soft but hard-wearing cover that is both breathable and stylish.

Breathable air mesh cover around the border helps ventilate the mattress

The mattress comes with breathable side vents that allow the mattress to remain cool while you sleep. Another benefit to being breathable is that you naturally sweat during the night and the cool and breathable nature means that your mattress will remain hygienic for many years to come.

Hypoallergenic, helps guard against dust mites for a healthier sleep

Single-sided for easy care and convenience - no need to flip your mattress over

A single sided mattress is typical for the industry and relates to how  a mattress has the comfort layer on one side of the mattress. only This means that the mattress only needs to be rotated rather than flipped. The benefit of single sided mattresses is that they require less upkeep in that there's no flipping, but also, there's less components involved in the creation which saves costs.

Customer Reviews For The Mammoth Rise Plus Ortho Mattress

Based on 10 review

Well made and quite comfortable. Fingers crossed it retains the support throughout the life of the mattress. Opted for medium to firm support and this ticks all the boxes. I like the fact that I can turn and move around in comfort and not sink in too much. Its supportive but not too hard. The finish is excellent. For the first time in years I am sleeping almost through the whole night! Bliss.
