Bought the super king size online. I can not fault this bed, however it is a VERY FIRM mattress - after 2 weeks sleeping on it it is now beginning to soften slightly, my husband who is over 6ft and weighs around 15 stone thinks it is wonderful, it is a bit hard for me though (but is getting there!) I was told in store to avoid this Miracoil mattress as it was not pocket sprung (which is why they don't have them in store to try out) but I think it is absolutely fine, we didn't have thousands to spend on a bed and bought this hoping it would last for a few years - it seems very well constructed and looks like it is built to last, I'm glad I didn't listen to the instore sales pitch for the pocket springs! There is absolutely no roll together, in fact I tend to fling myself as I swap from my side onto my back and then onto my side again and hubby doesn't even notice I'm moving now! The drawers are on the small side but are sturdy and well built, and the dark grey fabric of the base is a good neutral colour. Fab delivery team, very curteous and clean - even put shoe covers on, and came within the 2 hour delivery slot I was given. Definitely recommend this bed.

We bought the mattress 3 weeks ago, we had the old one for 13 years and the springs had gone and there were dips in the bed where we slept, it was becoming very uncomfortable. We went by reviews how else do you know, how pleased I am we did, Thank you to all those people who left reviews it was a big help, the mattress is so comfortable, we hadn't realised how bad our old one was. We are pensioners and have quite a lot of aches and pains but the mattress has help so much with that, its wonderful to get proper sleep again. We would like to Thank Dreams for an easy transaction on line, the bag for our old mattress came through the post in plenty of time, and last but not least a very big Thank you to the 2 young men Ellis and Michael who delivered the mattress and took the old one away they were perfect gentlemen and a credit to the Dreams Company, they couldn't have done more for us. We were looking to get a mattress that is excellent for side-sleepers and also suitable during pregnancy. We found it! Ordered, all went really well. The delivery was fine. We slept well (our mattress is located directly on the carpeted floor). Very soon - within the first few nights - we discovered extra features of this excellent mattress. As we have good hearing, we both could distinguish sounds coming from the springs. We're amazed at how they even pick up the rythm of our breathing, and even of our pulse or heartbeat! Highly recommend, especially if you'd like a goodnight-song. :-) My husband and I both are satisfied with this mattress (so far) as it does its job of giving us a comfortable bed to sleep on. We decided to keep it all most hassle-free at a good price.

We were in desperate need of a new mattress, as our old one had lived it's last breath. So after visiting our local dreams store (Eastleigh) and talking to staff about recommendations and pointed in the right direction of what we will need for our requirements. We went home and ordered online as there was an online only offer. Mattress arrived when confirmed, staff were fantastic when delivering... however I'm not entirely impressed with the mattress. It's incredibly bouncy! So any slight movement from my partner I go flying! Let alone when we have our 4 month old on the bed! The springs are already starting to be felt, and we've had the mattress around 2 months. Wouldn't recommend it and definitely wouldn't buy again. So a bit disappointed all in all.

I ordered my Mattress on the 3rd of December. Straight away i got an email and txt to confirm my order and a delivery date of the 18th December. After that date i got a few more txts to confirm delivery date and advise i would get a call on the day of delivery. Kyle phoned to say my allocated time slot was between 11-1 they arrived at 10.30 both Kyle & Arran very polite and helpful. they gave advice on the mattress and said i had 40 days any problems and to give them a call. Fantastic delivery service The Mattress is so comy i dont want to get out of bed. after a spine operation this year and years of pain with a bad back, ive had the best nights sleep in a long time. So I have a back condition and unfortunately a coil mattress is to soft and memory foam to hard so we read the reviews on the Silentnight Westland and thought we would give it a go. I cant begin to explain how much this mattress has changed my sleep. I wake up with less pain, I sleep longer hours and Im just a happier version of myself which may sound silly to others. The mix of coil and memory foam aswell as the topper is luxurious and I highly recommend the mattress. We got at a great price from dreams and there delivery drivers were just the friendliest and most helpful people we have ever come across. This is our second Silentnight Miracoil mattress as we recently upsized to a new king size bed. As weve been unable to try mattresses out in any local stores, we went with Silentnight online as we were very happy with our previous model (now no longer in production). Weve been using the Westland for 2 weeks now and are very happy, its firm and supportive and theres no role-together. If I could put 4.9 out of 5 I would as - personally - I wouldve preferred a little more memory foam topping. However, for the price weve no complaints! Delivery was great too, delivered to the bedroom safely by PPE-d staff.

This feels really sturdy and good quality, you don't sink or roll into it and it has retained it's shape since I bought it 6 weeks ago. I thought it might be a tad too firm at first but after a night or two I loved it. It is firm but not hard. Delivery service was great too and they delivered on a Saturday which was so convenient. Really easy to put together on my own. Might be nice with a lighter coloured base but I still love it. I had bought a cheaper bed elsewhere and I regretted it as the product was bad quality and delivery a nightmare - this was a far better service and worth the money in my opinion.

I brought this particular mattress because it had good reviews and was on offer at the time but after using this mattress it has been so worth it! It is so comfortable; for laying down to sleep or to just sit on and watch TV, it really is a pleasure to relax on. I suffer with disturbed sleeping patterns and my boyfriend suffers with a bad back through his job. We both have seen massive improvements with ourselves through the comfort and support of this mattress. I sleep a lot better and my boyfriend hasnt gotten a single bad back whilst sleeping on this mattress. Great Buy.. Would definitely recommend!!

Had this mattress for 2 weeks now, still getting used to it. A little dissapointed after reading the rave reviews. Its a bit too firm for me to be honest, but ordered as our previous mattress had started collapsing. Would have preferred to have gone to a shop and tried it first as with our previous one, but obviously not able to due to Covid and shops being shut. The service from Dreams can't be faulted. Delivered promptly, courteous delivery, and good communication regarding delivery. I'm hoping as time goes on that I will get used to the mattress. Bit awkward to manoeuvre, a handle would be welcome.

We desperately needed a new mattress, as our old one was making our backs ache! We bought this mattress based on the positive reviews - which we were a little apprehensive about, as we had not been into a store to try the mattress out. It was a good call! The mattress is great - and really good value for money. Weve noticed a huge difference. Admittedly, we also bought a nice new thick soft mattress topper, which adds to it, but the mattress itself is far more sturdy and comfortable. We just hope it stays that way and doesnt have a short life span. Were really happy and would highly recommend :)

We purchased this mattress in the sale from dreams. Waiting time was a bit longer than usual but with the current situation thats half expected. Bottom line is its a brilliant mattress, fell straight to sleep the first night and its getting comfier as time goes on. Ive also been suffering with a really bad back as of late as our old mattress was tired and the springs were becoming a chore and interrupting sleep hence why we bought a new one. will the mattress end up with a lump in the middle.is it guaranteed against this and if so for how long?

Answer: As long as the mattress is looked after in line with the care instructions it should not dip. It comes with a one year guarantee against manufacturing defects as a standard. However, for a small extra cost you can take out Bedcover which covers you against manufacturing defects for up to 8 years after delivery and accidental damages for up to 5 years after delivery.I hope this helps and thank you for your question.

Please could you tell me whether the colour of this base is a light or dark grey? I also noticed that another customer asked about the use of this bed for a child and the response mentioned overheating, the description states otherwise. Can you clarify?

Answer: The base colour is charcoal so it is more of a dark grey.The Memory Foam we use in this model is a comfort layer and is not over thick and therefore generally would not cause over heating. However, some people find that Memory Foam does keep them warmer than other comfort layers, we therefore do have models without Memory Foam, they are the Lyndhurst and the Radley. Many thanks.

Is the miracoil spring system classed as open coil or pocket sprung? or neither?

Answer: Miracoil is an open spring but a unique system to Silentnight, and they also do mirapocket which is the mira pocket but housed inside a cloth, a miracoil spring is an upgrade to a traditional open bonell spring as its unique design is supportive and helps weight distribution without affecting anyone else who may be sharing the sleeping area.Thank you.

Why does the mattress need rotating?

Answer: Thank you for submitting your question.Rotation is required to prolong mattress life as if a mattress wears unevenly, it must be replaced more quickly.The coils will wear out and wont give you the support you need. would using this mattress on the floor instead of a bed frame cause any problems long term?

Answer: This would be fine, however if your flooring is laminate you will need to make sure the mattress is aired as moisture can build up against a laminate flooring. Carpet will still need to be aired but not as highly as laminate. Thank you for your question.
