Today we’re going to be taking a closer look at the Detroit Sleepmotion Adjustable Upholstered Bed Frame from Dreams.co.uk, a product that has brought a touch of luxury to my bedroom and has transformed my sleeping experience.

I was lucky enough to receive this product with faster than expected delivery, and let me tell you, it is a genuine delight. This bed frame has a modern design with two colour options of brown bonded leather or grey fabric. The headboard and footboard are not only stylish but also padded for extra comfort which aid to the design. I went for the grey fabric as I’ve got a cat who has a habit of clawing at materials and the grey will simply hide it better.

But what sets this bed frame apart is the Sleepmotion 200i base that replaces the solid slats. This base allows me to adjust my sleeping position with a wireless remote or through the Napp by Dreams app on my smartphone. I can raise or lower my head and feet to find my optimal comfort level, whether I want to read, watch TV, work on my laptop or just relax. Plus, the Zero Gravity mode simulates a weightless feeling by elevating my head and legs slightly above my heart, which reduces pressure on my spine and improves blood circulation.

The Sleepmotion 200i base also has a massage function that can soothe my muscles and ease tension. With three intensity levels and four massage zones: head, back, legs or full body, I can even set a timer for 10, 20, or 30 minutes of blissful massage before I fall asleep.

I must say that I am very impressed with this bed frame. It not only adds a touch of style to my bedroom but is also versatile and smart. It works with most mattresses, but I recommend choosing one that is flexible and durable enough to handle the movement of the base. I also love that I can add accessories like pillows, duvets and sheets to complete my dreamy bedroom look.

after finally deciding on which style of bed we wanted due to space and storage issues we bought this sleigh bed in a sale and completely blind. when it arrived about a week later it looked huge. we set about putting it together which was pretty easy. My only concern was there was no center support for the slatts . thankfully i had my old bed and used the center support from that to strengthen the new bed as i assembled it although it probably wasnt necessary. it was easy to put together the draw was the hardest part. The whole look of the bed was perfect the material was great and the draw just big enough to store our spare bedding. we are so pleased with our new bed and the quick and helpfull service we got from our local dreams staff. We bought this bed because it looks very stylish and has lots of impressive functions. The mattress is very good quality and very very comfortable. The sleep motion bed also comes with a cordless remote control so you can easily move whatever part of the bed you like to find your ultimate comfy position whether it's to watch TV in bed or have an exceptional night's sleep. On a practical note, the bed frame itself is very easily kept clean with just a light duster. Comes with an 8 year warranty for mechanical / electrical equipment.

Oh my god this bed does not disappoint. It is big and luxurious and comfortable and I love the way the mattress sits inside the frame of the bed. Full marks to the guys who assembled the bed for me it was well with paying the extra money with this and the mattress and the new pillows I've just had such an enjoyable night sleep. If you're after that a new bed this could be the one for you

Absolutely love my sleigh bed. It looks so good in my bedroom. It came on a day that suited me. And the 2 guys were only about 30 mins building it and put the bed exactly where I wanted it. There was absolutely no mess left. There us a bottom drawer which has a large storage capacity. The bed us very sturdy. And enhances any bedroom. I would absolutely recommend this bed to anyone.

Easy to put together for a king size, no crazy over complicated instructions! The bed is self if simple and gorgeous! The sleigh headboard and end makes the a simple room look even better! The hidden drawer is perfect, glades on carpet with the wheels and it very spacious! Really impressed with this bed! My five year old daughter even wants a smaller version for her room!

Delivered in good time and the guys delivering were the best,efficient and polite.I love my bed, looks great ,good quality and looks strong.Most of all ots so comfortable.Im sleeping better now.Value for money it is! Adjusting the bed is so easy and a smooth glide.I cant fault the bed quality. The only downside is the leather smell but that is wearing off.

A fantastic bed. It looks sleek and stylish with a fantastic medium grey upholstered finish. The headboard and foot are sturdy and slats are very secure. It also features a very spacious pull out draw at the bottom of the bed. The draw is fashioned with a dark wood effect and is on wheels for easy pull out. This draw can easily fit all my bedding in.

Straight forward to assemble. Easy to follow instructions and very solid bed frame. There is no movement in the bed at all once assembled and the mattress is really comfy and plush too. The drawer takes a bit of getting used to as you have to get right down low and open/pull out from the bottom, but apart from that, were really happy with it.

Got this delivered 3 weeks ago because the one that I had before was causing me some back pain. This bed is a life saver, no more back pains nor waking during the night. The head and the bottom can be adjusted to suit your needs which is a bonus. The best bed I've ever had l.

Great bed frame which works well in the room. Super delivery team . Although our mattresses turned out to be not right for us, the Dreams team did not quibble and replaced them under their exchange guarantee. It is reassuring to find a company which does what it promises.

It is absolutely beautiful but we were missing a bag of camlocks so we had to purchase. Lovely bed, massive space underneath and we are so happy with it. There was a couple stitches that looked a little funny but cannot tell when bed up. Would definitely recommend:)

I ordered this bed in the faux leather finish and I still can't get enough of how elegant it looks in my bedroom. Very firm except for the storage drawer at the foot which could have been designed to fit properly. Otherwise, a very satisfied customer!!

Where can we view this product?
Answer: This exact version may not be available in your local stores, but the bed frame itself will be available to view in both of the Cardiff stores. The Sleepmotion part of the frame may not be in the Detroit bed frame in store, but they will have it either on it's own or in another bed frame so you can get a better understanding or feel for it.Many thanks

Why is the Detroit only available in the leather for sleep motion and not the upholstered grey? As the bed frame would be the same size.
Answer: The side rails of the frames have to be altered slightly to allow the sleep motion drop in, unfortunately at the moment we do not offer the Grey in this option by may look to in the future. As an alternative the Lucia bed frame can be purchased in Grey with the sleep motion drop in

What is the maximum user weight?
Answer: Jehane,The 200i Sleepmotion base has a total weight limit of 355kg (55 stone) - this includes the weight of the mattress.
