What a lovely mattress and like nothing we've had before. Last time we changed our mattress we went for one with a memory foam topper built in which proved to be a big mistake. The topper would move and we'd wake up in the night to find our pillows had disappeared down the back, so we knew we didn't want one of those again. Anyway. We chose to go to dreams to use their sleep sensor bed to see if it would help us get a good nights sleep and it recommended a firm mattress. We tried a few different ones and the TEMPUR Very Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress was by far the most unusual as we slowly sank into it rather than laid on it. It was certainly the most comfortable but that was for the few minutes we were on it in the shop. As Dreams do a 100 day trial we thought we'd give it a try. The price was nearly double what we thought we would be paying but then thought it would be a good investment if started getting a good nights sleep again. First night was very strange. Getting into bed that felt like laying down on a bed of wet sand or thick custard. Then the fun trying to move once the bed had cast it's mold around you and started to grip you. First nights sleep was therefore broken a bit due to not being use to that and our backs ached as we tried to roll out of our soft coffins. Both of us thought we had made a mistake and maybe we have gone for a traditional mattress. But we'll give it a couple more nights. Well..... what a difference. As we slowly got use to it molding to our bodies we noticed it changed quicker with us, so moving and getting out became easier. We also noticed that we could actually feel it supporting us where we needed it and we are definitely sleeping better and waking up with less back pain. Now although it's called extra firm it's certainly not hard and cool touch certainly doesn't mean cold to get into. This doesn't mean the bed is perfect. I now have to suffer my wife saying on Sunday morning that the bed is holding her captive so I'll have to go and bring her coffee..... The TEMPUR Very Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress is worth every penny of our "investment" in the price and investing the time in getting use to it. If it lasts us just 10yrs as per the guarantee it'll be worth the 2 a month for a good nights sleep.

After a lot of deliberation and sleepless nights, my wife and I decided to take the plunge on Tempur. We were initially put off by the high price, but I would say it is certainly worth the investment for a good night's sleep. I could not speak higher of this mattress. . We tried a number of mattresses within the Tempur range and found this to be instantly the best for both comfort and support. (That's not to say the others were no good). Now for the lowdown on the product: The mattress is certainly good at keeping us cool. (Incidently the cooling cover is unique to Dreams, so another reason to purchase from Dreams). Writing this review in the 30 degrees heat, we both have had no problems in sleeping in the recent hot weather. The mattress at first felt at first rather soft (which is not to either of our liking) but the support is second to none. The Dreams bed test actually confirmed that we both preferred medium rather than firm. Whicih was certainly an eye opener and made our decision on such a premium product. They say you can't put a price on a good night's sleep, and its so right. I was in two minds whether to spend 2000 on a matress given I only went in for "a look", but I did the comfort test things in store and decided to trust the science of what was being recommended. After trying the other 3 cheaper mattresses, i went for a lie on the Tempur one and instantly knew i needed it. As a shift worker, my sleep schedule is all over the place, and i often struggled to fall asleep and would lie there for hours cursing myself that i wasn't one of those people who can fall asleep anywhere. I'd wake up the next morning feeling grumpy, my back needing to be cracked and achy hips. But not any more!!! I have had the best sleep since my Tempur arrived, i wake up in a morning (or afternoon if i'm on nights) feeling rested, feeling refreshed and without a single ache! I've not had to crack my back since sleeping on this which is remarkable considering I've suffered with back problems for years. I cannot recommend investing in one of these enough. And if you get it on zero percent finance, its only costing you the equivalent of a night out once a month.

I am a heavy big side sleeper and this mattress gives my body an excellent support and comfort during my sleep, it really feels like sinking in the clouds, it will move under your body until it gets a perfect relaxing shape and taking all the pressure away from your body's pressure points.My lower back, hips and shoulders pain is gone since I am sleeping on it and for it's comfort and support it really deserves 5 starts, but unfortunately like every memory foam mattress temperature is it's biggest issue, although it is a cool touch it still gets extremely hot around midnight, I tried to sleep with keeping windows open and to use a tinner cover but no improvement what so ever, I get up every morning with wet and sweaty clothes and body. So if you get hot fast, if you are on the heavier side , if you are getting hot flashes this won't be a good choice of mattress and I don't recommend it at all, otherwise it is the best sleep experience of your life.

I bought from Bournemouth Store , James the manager his staff Sarah, Laura and Kieran were all excellent and very helpful and it was a pleasure visiting the store. I used the sleep match which among other makes recommended The Tempur Firm Elite, but to be honest the Jury is still out with regards to The Tempur Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress. I am finding it too hard and getting slight back pain. I think I will ask for it to be exchanged for the Hybrid Elite, thanks to the 30 day sleep comfort Guarantee, I believe that a New Hybrid is coming but can find no details about it yet, perhaps the new Hybrid will only be available at Dreams like the Tempur firm elite as Tempur-Sealy now own them. This mattress is of good quality although expensive, It is annoying not having any straps on the side to assist in rotating it as advised, as the mattress is very heavy being the 6ft Superking.

My previous Dreams mattress had started to give in after 8 years - there is definitely truth in what they say about 8 years for their mattresses. I ordered a new one but there was a delay as difficulty in getting springs - my brother recommended the TEMPUR as they have one - so I changed the order and got this. A very good move and decision - what a difference in my sleep pattern - I use a Sleep App to track my sleep and it's ticking all the boxes and showing I am having the best night's sleep in years. The mattress almost hugs you and it feels like you are sleeping on a firm cloud. Not more aches and pains (used to suffer from stiff back and joints) and I wake up feeling much more energised. I've even ditched my electric blanket as they say sleeping in a cooler bed is much healthier for you. Recommend you also get the pillows as it all adds to the TEMPUR experience.

I bought one of these mattress to see if I would have pain areas on my body. Where ever my body touched became tender due to the fact I suffered from Fibromyalgia. This mattress moulds to your own body and not where your body just touches as with other mattresses. It's nice to have a comfortable sleep and wake up without tender areas on your body. I still only get 4 hours sleep and that's down to the pattern of sleep I have been getting for years. My hours of sleep seem to be getting longer and more of a deep sleep because of this mattress. The other mattress I had used to make you too hot and this one keeps you cool Thanks best nights sleep for years . I have or rather had a back. I would sleep on the floor but the dog has this area covered. The Tempur is expensive. I worked it out that if it last 15 years then I would save money by not replacing it in 8 years as normal. Then I thought of a price of it per night. Which 350 sleeps a year for 15 years isn't all that much. Now I factor in the time and expenses of Chiropractor. I'm now in profit. Does it work. For me, I've never slept better. I need a bed that when I get in, I don't feel lile I'm in a cloud. I want firm bed with comfort. Soft on my rear to sit up and read but a solid core to get proper rest. Straight away it felt like I was supported. It is hard to stay awake in it. I am tight when it comes to spending money on myself but actually this is an investment.

We bought this product a little over a month ago. As it was time for a new mattress as our old one was causing my partner stiffness and back pain every day when he woke up. Our new Tempur mattress is fantastic. No more back pain for him he sleeps better and for longer and actually feels refreshed. I am now beholden to my slumberland enchantress. Her marshmallow, cloud envelops me like a freshly baked cinnamon roll. All this softness, there must be something amiss I hear you say. Alas - my weary bones are not cast aside. They too are catered to by the slumber siren; she finds a way to support me where needed whilst simultaneously encouraging me sink further into dreamland. To begin with the smell of the mattress isnt pleasant, its 3 weeks on now and my whole room smells of damp, the 149 pillows smell exactly the same so not pleasant to sleep on and i aired them fot two days before using any of it when i was only told to do so for a few hours before using it so if you want a relaxing nights sleep dont buy this mattress! I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia which is why i purchased this mattress in the first place and all ive ended up with is more discomfort. I shall be returning for 2299 and 66 a month its not worth it. Cliff was a very helpful and caring man and helped me massively on the day at the maidstone london road branch thank you for your time and doing your job well.

Been sleeping in our Tempur Sensation Eite mattress for a couple of weeks now, and its just brilliant! Its the firmest of the range and so took a few nights to get used to from having a softer mattress before, and has started to feel a little softer providing even more comfort. The Tempur pillows we bought at the same time are fantastic too! Its really helped with neck and back problems caused by a poor quality Mammoth mattress we bought only two years ago. Really hoping this one lasts a lot longer, but from all the people I know whove had Tempur mattresses for a number of years now all say how great they are and that theyre built to last, so I have every confidence that it will!

We bought a firm cool touch tempura king mattress.. at first it felt as hard as wood and slowly you sink in and the mattress finds the contours of your body over the first week we have got used to it and have definitely noticed the difference. We both suffer from bad backs and in the morning it usually is a struggle to straighten and they ache.. but now we dont have this.. it takes a while to get used to not having any bounce to help you turn over and when you get in you need to do it fast and not sit in the edge as otherwise you get a different sag shape that then have to find your lying down position and give the support required. Overall enjoying it so far.

This mattress is extra firm but thats what we wanted! Its extremely comfy for us, no back or hip pain on a morning, best thing we have bought. Converted from an old memory foam mattress we had for years, I find the new Renoir mattresses are a lot cooler and as for the smell some people complain about when the mattresses are first opened just leave the window open for a couple of hours after opening and it is fine, but the smell isnt that strong, certainly isnt as bad an a new memory foam I would recommend going and trying the different types of Tempur matress out in store to see which one suits you best as theses mattresses arent a one size fits all.

Since changing our bed to Tempur cool touch Elite Mattress has made a massive sleep change in our life ! I don't move around so much to get comfortable with problems with my hip. With regards to my husband he has a prolapsed disc and sciatica on his left side, which in the past he constantly moves about to get comfortable and was not getting much sleep. My wife and I visited Dreams to get a new bed as our current mattress was causing back pain. After using the automated service we were recommended a tempur mattress. After having used it for some weeks now, the mattress is very comfortable as it molds to your sleeping position and the cooltouch technology stops you getting too hot. The memory foam pillows are great too. It's a weird feeling sinking into the mattress but you get used to it! The only tiny downside is that we haven't been able to find a fitted sheet that fits perfectly due to the depth and changing shape of the mattress but that is very minor. Overall very happy.

We have just replaced our Tempur Original Deluxe with the Very Firm Cool Touch Elite Tempur mattress and boy what an upgrade. This feels so supportive, it isnt too firm so I would class this as a firm mattress. Its so much more supportive than the old one and yet has the gentle touch of a Tempur mattress. We tried 3 different Tempurs in the shop this being the firmest and am so glad we purchased this one. Great nights sleep, I cannot feel husband move during the night at all which is one of the things I love about this mattress. My shoulders and back feel so much better.

It was only after buying this mattress that I realised how incredibly poor my previous mattresses were. The first time I slept on this mattress, I did encounter some slight back pain for 2 days, but I assume this was because my back hadn't actually been able to relax in 10 years and made the most of the comfort. Every night since then has been so beneficial for my back, and I am sleeping well, very well in fact! It is well worth the price and should be seen as an investment in your wellbeing. Had this for about a month now and loving it. Im a little overweight and had been getting hip and knee problems which have now gone, the bed is the only change Ive made. You slowly sink into this bed so when you want to change position you may find yourself slipping back into the previous imprint you made. It does slowly return to shape so bear with it as you will work out how to manage this. We had an Emma mattress before this which was ok but lost any resistance it had and became very soft, this tempur mattress is miles better.

I have suffered for years with back pain waking me up a few times each night. I thought long and hard about paying for a decent mattress and I am glad I bought this. I feel more rested in the morning and my back is not as painful. I can't describe how comfy this mattress makes you. I had tried other memory foam mattresses but couldn't get used to them. The mattress took me a couple of weeks to find it comfortable. Now it is very comfortable and provides excellent support. The biggest problem for two weeks was, what I know understand to be, "Off-Gassing". The chemical smell given off by the manufacturing process lasted two weeks and made my eyes smart for at least one week. I was not told, nor would it have been practical, to store the mattress in a garage for several days before use as I had booked the collection of the old mattress to be collected at time of delivery of new.

Had my tempur elite matress a couple weeks now and my god what a difference it has made to my sleep. After trying different matress in store i opted for the very firm cooltouch elite and i dont know why i didnt do it sooner! Not only did it come with 2 free pillows worth 150 each but i now get a full nights sleep and wake up with no back pain anymore. Being tall (6ft8) i have suffered with neck/back pain for too long and although its quite expensive if you are suffing like me it is definately worth the the investment!

We had to change our old mattress which was it was bought at another well known company, it was completely the wrong mattress for us, even though said other company said it was right for us, obviously looking for a quick sale! My wife proposed we replace our spring mattress with a memory foam mattress. At first, I was reluctant as I thought: "a mattress is a mattress, who cares". After we went to Dreams to compare mattresses, I was immediately sold! I can't describe how much better the memory foam mattress is! I can twist and turn and my wife won't wake up. I bought this mattress for our new home. The mattress-oh what I have to say!Fantastic isnt enough to explain it-we had issues with couple mattresses befor it!I have sciatica and this mattress really helps me about it-less pain at all and sometimes after the busy day I lie down on it with painful back-couple minute later the pain is gone!I dont know exactly the magic of the mattress-maybe because its memory foam turns into you body shape I cant really explain myself!but the thing is the pain is gone-yes is expensive but worth it every penny!

Takes a while to get used to it as very, very firm, but as I sleep on my front I wanted a firm mattress. Havent had any back ache since Ive had it and absolutely love it now I have got used to it. I havent found the cool touch that cool but pleased I purchased this mattress. The staff were very good on delivery too.the only downside was it went on sale with two free pillows after I had just had it delivered and also when you spend 2200 on a mattress,they should waiver 50 to take old one away

Excellent.!!! Every penny spent on buying this mattress was carefully considered. Whilst waiting for the delivery our nerve waivered a bit about the outlay. We purchased this to replace our previous memory foam mattress. This is our first time going for a Tempur mattress, as the cost has always put us off. Dreams offered a helpful finance package, so we went for it. Great service in store, good delivery service with good communication and helpful drivers carrying the mattress into my bedroom. One thing to be aware is the depth of this is big, so your standard sheets might not fit it- prepare to buy new deep fitting sheets!

This does need to come with a warning ! Both my husband and myself had problems getting out of bed as it was so comfy ! My husband know tells me he is tidying the bedroom ! ( I know I was scared ) found him tucked up in bed having trouble keeping his eyes open ! We both had pains waking up in our old mattress nothing with this apart from you dont want to get out !! After sleeping on it for a month almost there is no signs of dip or deform which I thought may happen due to using an adjustable bed. Takes a while to get used too but when you settle you feel very snug, Im usually turning over constantly in bed but not since getting the Tempur very firm cool touch I normally wake in the same position I fell asleep in. I have good quality sleep now and awake refreshed very happy nearly didnt buy because of price but so glad I did.

I have had my Tempur very firm cool elite mattress since the 30/07/2022 and it is an absolutely comfortable sleep. Well supported in all the right areas especially my lower back which I was having some problems with. Don't be put off by the very firm part as it is more supportive than firm, I did try other Tempur mattresses in the Dreams shop, but chose this one. The shop and the assistant were a dream to deal with and the delivery was within 4 days, perfect.

We bought this mattress a few weeks ago. Initially, (first few nights) it was hard to get used to, and was contemplating killing the sales person for his excellent sales patter. Eventually, it became a pleasure, looking forward to going to bed. The best way to describe the mattress, is it's like sleeping in partial quick sand, but eventually supports every body part that touches the mattress. Highly recommended if you can adjust from a normal mattress.

I have only had this a few weeks and have not felt so energised throughout the day. No mid afternoon slumps, no feeling like I could go to bed in the middle of the day. My back and hip do not give me any pain when getting up in the morning. It's a little early to say if this mattress has fulfilled my needs (hence 4 stars) however we have slept well and although quite different from a normal sprung mattress it takes a bit of getting used too. My partner has no problems and has not had a disturbed night since sleeping on this mattress, I on the other hand wake up several times in the night but that's probably me and no fault of the mattress. Pre-sale service excellent. Post sale extremely disappointing. Mattress ok for me but not hubby. 5 sleep deprived nights before we gave up. This is our first memory foam style mattress and although it takes a little getting used to we are loving it and sleeping much better than before. We had concerns regarding overheating from the mattress but definitely not felt any signs of that.
