What a lovely mattress and like nothing we've had before. Last time we changed our mattress we went for one with a memory foam topper built in which proved to be a big mistake. The topper would move and we'd wake up in the night to find our pillows had disappeared down the back, so we knew we didn't want one of those again. Anyway. We chose to go to dreams to use their sleep sensor bed to see if it would help us get a good nights sleep and it recommended a firm mattress. We tried a few different ones and the TEMPUR Very Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress was by far the most unusual as we slowly sank into it rather than laid on it. It was certainly the most comfortable but that was for the few minutes we were on it in the shop. As Dreams do a 100 day trial we thought we'd give it a try. The price was nearly double what we thought we would be paying but then thought it would be a good investment if started getting a good nights sleep again. First night was very strange. Getting into bed that felt like laying down on a bed of wet sand or thick custard. Then the fun trying to move once the bed had cast it's mold around you and started to grip you. First nights sleep was therefore broken a bit due to not being use to that and our backs ached as we tried to roll out of our soft coffins. Both of us thought we had made a mistake and maybe we have gone for a traditional mattress. But we'll give it a couple more nights. Well..... what a difference. As we slowly got use to it molding to our bodies we noticed it changed quicker with us, so moving and getting out became easier. We also noticed that we could actually feel it supporting us where we needed it and we are definitely sleeping better and waking up with less back pain. Now although it's called extra firm it's certainly not hard and cool touch certainly doesn't mean cold to get into. This doesn't mean the bed is perfect. I now have to suffer my wife saying on Sunday morning that the bed is holding her captive so I'll have to go and bring her coffee..... The TEMPUR Very Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress is worth every penny of our "investment" in the price and investing the time in getting use to it. If it lasts us just 10yrs as per the guarantee it'll be worth the 2 a month for a good nights sleep.

After a lot of deliberation and sleepless nights, my wife and I decided to take the plunge on Tempur. We were initially put off by the high price, but I would say it is certainly worth the investment for a good night's sleep. I could not speak higher of this mattress. . We tried a number of mattresses within the Tempur range and found this to be instantly the best for both comfort and support. (That's not to say the others were no good). Now for the lowdown on the product: The mattress is certainly good at keeping us cool. (Incidently the cooling cover is unique to Dreams, so another reason to purchase from Dreams). Writing this review in the 30 degrees heat, we both have had no problems in sleeping in the recent hot weather. The mattress at first felt at first rather soft (which is not to either of our liking) but the support is second to none. The Dreams bed test actually confirmed that we both preferred medium rather than firm. Whicih was certainly an eye opener and made our decision on such a premium product. They say you can't put a price on a good night's sleep, and its so right. I was in two minds whether to spend 2000 on a matress given I only went in for "a look", but I did the comfort test things in store and decided to trust the science of what was being recommended. After trying the other 3 cheaper mattresses, i went for a lie on the Tempur one and instantly knew i needed it. As a shift worker, my sleep schedule is all over the place, and i often struggled to fall asleep and would lie there for hours cursing myself that i wasn't one of those people who can fall asleep anywhere. I'd wake up the next morning feeling grumpy, my back needing to be cracked and achy hips. But not any more!!! I have had the best sleep since my Tempur arrived, i wake up in a morning (or afternoon if i'm on nights) feeling rested, feeling refreshed and without a single ache! I've not had to crack my back since sleeping on this which is remarkable considering I've suffered with back problems for years. I cannot recommend investing in one of these enough. And if you get it on zero percent finance, its only costing you the equivalent of a night out once a month.

I am a heavy big side sleeper and this mattress gives my body an excellent support and comfort during my sleep, it really feels like sinking in the clouds, it will move under your body until it gets a perfect relaxing shape and taking all the pressure away from your body's pressure points.My lower back, hips and shoulders pain is gone since I am sleeping on it and for it's comfort and support it really deserves 5 starts, but unfortunately like every memory foam mattress temperature is it's biggest issue, although it is a cool touch it still gets extremely hot around midnight, I tried to sleep with keeping windows open and to use a tinner cover but no improvement what so ever, I get up every morning with wet and sweaty clothes and body. So if you get hot fast, if you are on the heavier side , if you are getting hot flashes this won't be a good choice of mattress and I don't recommend it at all, otherwise it is the best sleep experience of your life.

I bought from Bournemouth Store , James the manager his staff Sarah, Laura and Kieran were all excellent and very helpful and it was a pleasure visiting the store. I used the sleep match which among other makes recommended The Tempur Firm Elite, but to be honest the Jury is still out with regards to The Tempur Firm CoolTouch Elite Mattress. I am finding it too hard and getting slight back pain. I think I will ask for it to be exchanged for the Hybrid Elite, thanks to the 30 day sleep comfort Guarantee, I believe that a New Hybrid is coming but can find no details about it yet, perhaps the new Hybrid will only be available at Dreams like the Tempur firm elite as Tempur-Sealy now own them. This mattress is of good quality although expensive, It is annoying not having any straps on the side to assist in rotating it as advised, as the mattress is very heavy being the 6ft Superking.

My previous Dreams mattress had started to give in after 8 years - there is definitely truth in what they say about 8 years for their mattresses. I ordered a new one but there was a delay as difficulty in getting springs - my brother recommended the TEMPUR as they have one - so I changed the order and got this. A very good move and decision - what a difference in my sleep pattern - I use a Sleep App to track my sleep and it's ticking all the boxes and showing I am having the best night's sleep in years. The mattress almost hugs you and it feels like you are sleeping on a firm cloud. Not more aches and pains (used to suffer from stiff back and joints) and I wake up feeling much more energised. I've even ditched my electric blanket as they say sleeping in a cooler bed is much healthier for you. Recommend you also get the pillows as it all adds to the TEMPUR experience.

I bought one of these mattress to see if I would have pain areas on my body. Where ever my body touched became tender due to the fact I suffered from Fibromyalgia. This mattress moulds to your own body and not where your body just touches as with other mattresses. It's nice to have a comfortable sleep and wake up without tender areas on your body. I still only get 4 hours sleep and that's down to the pattern of sleep I have been getting for years. My hours of sleep seem to be getting longer and more of a deep sleep because of this mattress. The other mattress I had used to make you too hot and this one keeps you cool Thanks best nights sleep for years . I have or rather had a back. I would sleep on the floor but the dog has this area covered. The Tempur is expensive. I worked it out that if it last 15 years then I would save money by not replacing it in 8 years as normal. Then I thought of a price of it per night. Which 350 sleeps a year for 15 years isn't all that much. Now I factor in the time and expenses of Chiropractor. I'm now in profit. Does it work. For me, I've never slept better. I need a bed that when I get in, I don't feel lile I'm in a cloud. I want firm bed with comfort. Soft on my rear to sit up and read but a solid core to get proper rest. Straight away it felt like I was supported. It is hard to stay awake in it. I am tight when it comes to spending money on myself but actually this is an investment.

We bought this product a little over a month ago. As it was time for a new mattress as our old one was causing my partner stiffness and back pain every day when he woke up. Our new Tempur mattress is fantastic. No more back pain for him he sleeps better and for longer and actually feels refreshed. We dont feel each other movements during the night. its cooler than i expected and provides a relaxing nights sleep.It supports every inch of you, as I have ongoing lower back problems i have found this to be the most supportive comfortable mattress Ive ever owned. It even comes in its own washable zip cover so you can wash it and keep your mattress good as new. We are very happy with it. We would gladly recommend it. Try a Tempur mattress they are as good as they say.

Your should heed my warning before purchasing this mattress. Are you prepared to struggle executing your normal activities of daily living from now on? If not, look away and do not read further. I am now beholden to my slumberland enchantress. Her marshmallow, cloud envelops me like a freshly baked cinnamon roll. All this softness, there must be something amiss I hear you say. Alas - my weary bones are not cast aside. They too are catered to by the slumber siren; she finds a way to support me where needed whilst simultaneously encouraging me sink further into dreamland. Its too late for me, Im in too deep. But you, theres still time for you. So heed my warning and save yourselves! For once you lay on this mattress, nothing will ever be the same again.

To begin with the smell of the mattress isnt pleasant, its 3 weeks on now and my whole room smells of damp, the 149 pillows smell exactly the same so not pleasant to sleep on and i aired them fot two days before using any of it when i was only told to do so for a few hours before using it so if you want a relaxing nights sleep dont buy this mattress! I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia which is why i purchased this mattress in the first place and all ive ended up with is more discomfort. I shall be returning for 2299 and 66 a month its not worth it. Been sleeping in our Tempur Sensation Eite mattress for a couple of weeks now, and its just brilliant! Its the firmest of the range and so took a few nights to get used to from having a softer mattress before, and has started to feel a little softer providing even more comfort. The Tempur pillows we bought at the same time are fantastic too! Its really helped with neck and back problems caused by a poor quality Mammoth mattress we bought only two years ago. Really hoping this one lasts a lot longer, but from all the people I know whove had Tempur mattresses for a number of years now all say how great they are and that theyre built to last, so I have every confidence that it will!
