What Makes The Sleepeezee Memory Comfort 1000 Pocket Mattress Great

We had owned our previous mattress for over twenty years(much longer than any recommendations). We could feel every spring and it was not very comfortable. When this mattress arrived it looked huge at 270mm thick with an extra pillow topper memory foam pad attached it was a real struggle for two of us to put this on the bed as it was very heavy. The comfort is superb and supports you very well. It has just the right amount of firmness . We sleep so well on this and wake up with no aches and pains so it is well worth the purchase price. It is summer and some of the nights have been hot but I would say with the memory foam topper the mattress does feel warmer than the old one but not uncomfortably so. It will probably show the benefit in winter though. I can highly recommend this mattress at any price. It is by no means top end or budget but it,s performance exceeds the price we paid. When moving about on it there is no spring noise discomfort either. All in all a great choice.

Made in the UK

These are made and manufactured in the UK, meaning that they all meet the same exceptional quality and durability that we expect from genuine UK manufacturing.

No roll together

Specifically designed with roll together prevention in mind. This means the product likely has better quality internals and offers better support than other mattresses in the same price point.

Air Vents

When you sleep you also sweat, when this happens it generally leaks into the mattress. Sounds a little gross but that is the way it works, no drama however as matresses are built to be breathable and air out any moisture buildup, the addition of air vents helps ensure this happens with peak efficiency

Turning Handles

Have you ever tried rotating or flipping a mattress without handles? You have to do that weird thing where you use your head as a third arm as you sort of nudge it with your face. Take the handles as a blessing

Pillow Top

Many mattresses that you see that look really plush, do so because they feature a pillow top. Benefits of a pillow top mattress are increased comfort and luxury styling. Downsides are they can be a bit of a pain to get sheets over properly

Individual Pocket Springs

The ideal choice in construction when choosing a mattress, pocket sprung mattresses offer, in our opinion, the best combination of support and comfort. The number of pocket springs can be equally important however

Memory Foam

memory foam is one of the most well known materials used in the upper layer of mattresses. Memory foam basically contours to your entire body with moulding properties. Designed by NASA, this material rebounds to your touch and feels like you are floating on a cloud. Memory foam does not necesserily mean soft either, you can still have firm mattresses for those that want them with a bit of memory foam.

Knitted Cover

It is common in the industry to have a knitted cover, these covers can come in a variety of patterns but are typically hard wearing and do not present problems for consumers.

No Need To Turn

This means that the product does not need to be turned over, but make no mistake, that is not the same as saying a product does not need to be rotated. If you do not want dips in your mattress with time, be sure to rotate evenly every month where possible

Fire Resistant - Low Hazard

This product has a low fire hazard marker against it, ideal considering you"re unconscious while on it. Not to be confused with a source 5 rating

NBF Approved Product

NBF stands for the National Bed Federation and is at the forefront of standards and legislation in the UK bed industry, these guys oversee the entire bedding industry with their mark and brand only being associated to those that follow a certain criteria of care and standards.

27cm deep

27cm is a deep mattress. You may require deeper sheets in order to be able to comfortably get them around the mattress. Regardless though, the general rule of thumb is that while depth is not entirely an appropriate guage of quality, you cannot get a good quality mattress with decent comfort and support in a thin frame. This size of mattress definitely adds credence to the fact that it is likely to be made of good quality internals and stand the test of time.

Pocket springs

Pocket springs are like natures own springy piece of comfort, except they are not from nature. Alas, pocket springs are a very good part of a mattress and often found in the more premium models. Lower quality products will frequently use open coil spring setups, where pocket springs house each spring in a tiny pocket for additional stability and continued support. Pocket spring typically lasts longer than open coil due to this.

Soft knitted cover

Soft knitted fabric covers are found on many mid-range mattresses, particularly memory foam bed-in-a-box products live Eve and Casper due to their ability to flex and stretch without impairing usage or quality. Soft knitted fabrics are fairly breathable also, which is an added benefit.

Pressure Relieving

Due to the support structure in place within this mattress it advertises as benefiting from pressure relieving properties. The way a mattress can achieve this is through the use of a good quality spring system that can contour to the body, providing tension equally across all areas of the body dependant on sleeping position and pressure

1000 Springs

A healthy amount of springs with which to contour around your body. 1000 is typical for a mattress at this price point and should provide the sleeper with adequate support for years to come.

Responsive Memory Foam

Memory foam is the most popular and most requested top layer for a mattress. After all, develped by NASA, this product has supreme bounce-back comfort that very few other products on the market can immitate. The pro of memory foam is surely in the comfort, the downsides are that it may get a little sweaty and hot in the summer months depending on the depth of the foam

Medium to Firm Support (4)

Medium to Firm support is largely suitable for most people. Where medium is the typical catch-all, a medium to firm sits in the middle between medium and firm and gives that additional bit of support that is ideal for those of average BMI or higher, and those that suffer from any amount of back pain.

5 Year Guarantee Included

A 5 year guarantee is fantastic news for the consumer and shows just how much faith the manufacturer and the retailer both have in the product. Any problems within those 5 years and you will be able to go back to the retailer for a replacement.

Warranty / Guarantee

This product comes with a warranty / guarantee on purchase. This is standard EU legislation. You will also get a standard 14day distance selling period whereby you will be able to return the product provided you abide to the retailers guidelines and return policy

Amazing mattress, I have never slept so soundly for years, all aches and pains have disappeared. I didn't know whether I would like a memory foam mattress as I usually like a firm base, but it gives me every support and more.
