Becky's Thoughts On The Sleep Essentials Series Four Mattress

The Sleep Essentials Series Four Mattress is, predictably, the fourth mattress in the new Sleep Essentials range created exclusively for the popular retailer Dreams.

The mattress is another in a line of suitable and cost-effective bed-in-a-boxes meaning that this mattress does come rolled as standard to your door. This is beneficial for you as you'll be able to get it to the room of choice without problem while still experiencing the same high quality materials found in non-rolled mattresses.

The Sleep Essentials Series Four Mattress comes in a medium tension which is my personal favourite tension as it suits most people of common build and should provide an adequate level of support for the vast majority of people.

This mattress features a foam base support layer topped with a comfort layer of memory foam that will conform to your body in the typical cosy and comfortable way that body moulding foam does so well.

What Makes The Sleep Essentials Series Four Mattress Great?

I bought this a few months ago, for my spare room, my family love it and my guests who stayed over loved it too. Now I use this bed more to get my own space when I need to, plus it’s good enough to chill and relax on with the right amount of give it doesn’t hurt my back or coccyx when I sit or lie on it. Also when I sleep on it, it’s supports my back and with the right pillow it supports my neck too which is really helpful. It is quite a soft mattress but it is just enough to give you the right amount of support without causing discomfort which I have experienced in the past. So, spot on with the mattress technology it has definitely improved a lot from previous times I’ve purchased, so thanks again

Rotate Regularly - Rotate head to toe weekly for the first three months, then every month thereafter

Your mattress should be rotated on a regular basis as this is the easiest way to prolong and increase the longevity of your mattress. The main benefits to regularly rotating your mattress is the continued support and comfort while reducing any risk of sagging that may otherwise occur

Comfort Grade - Medium

A Medium firmness mattress is the most common build offered due to the range of suitability offered in such a mattress. This type of mattress will be better suited toward averagely weighted people, while lighter people should opt for a medium-light, and heavier people considering a medium-firm.

1 year guarantee

1 year guarantee is typical for the industry. This means you are guaranteed to have a trouble free experience for the first year or have your product replaced

Soft-touch knitted cover

Soft touch covers are commonplace in the mattress industry. These covers are still hard wearing enough to last the lifetime of the product but soft enough to the touch to still be comfortable even with the thinnest of sheets on top

Cleverly rolled and boxed for added convenience

To make it easy to carry, manoeuvre and transport this mattress is supplied conveniently rolled up and boxed. They are considered eco-friendly because of their compact size saves space on delivery vans. Less fuel is required for transportation and due to their small space requirements, most are stocked and delivery is quicker.

Supportive foam base

Reflex foam is extremely supportive and is ideal for those who need extra support for lower and upper back pain. The pressure is spread evenly over large pockets of trapped air distributing the weight outwards from a singular spot. Once the weight is removed the material will spring back into its original shape. It offers an orthopaedic feel keeping the spine aligned, is cheaper than memory foam and there is no 'sinking' feeling.

Soft-touch knitted cover with quilted finish

A mid-range cover of standard construction. The quilted finish adds an additional bit of comfort to your new mattress, although, it's the fillings and support system that accompany that do most of the heavy lifting.

Supportive foam filling

Body-contouring memory foam layer

Memory foam is one of the more comfortable top layers in a mattress. Memory foam will give a sinking feeling of supreme comfort that moulds to your body giving a feeling of support and contouring

Cleverly rolled for added convenience

You've heard of the likes of Eve, Simba, Otty and Nectar, but as these rise in popularity, so does the rolled mattresses experience that customers enjoy. As such we have an entire range on offer of rolled mattresses, all featuring the same sort of specifications but at a more reasonable price point.

About Sleep Essentials

Sleep Essentials is a new brand from Dreams that focuses on the lower end of the market in terms of cost, while still trying to ensure that the customer get's great quality in the product. Most of the Sleep Essentials range utilises reflex and high density foam as the primary layer which still manages to provide a great nights sleep but is also extremely affordable. Reviews for Sleep Essentials mattresses are still coming in but initial feedback is looking very positive.

Single sided - Rotate head to toe weekly for the first three months, then every month thereafter

A single sided mattress is typical for the industry and relates to how  a mattress has the comfort layer on one side of the mattress. only This means that the mattress only needs to be rotated rather than flipped. The benefit of single sided mattresses is that they require less upkeep in that there's no flipping, but also, there's less components involved in the creation which saves costs.

Rolled for convenience

Roll up mattresses, also known as bed-in-a-box mattresses are fairly new to the scene, first cropping up via the likes of Eve and Simba back in 2016. Since then there has been a rise in popularity due to their lower price point (due to delivery and storage costs) and their convenience for getting up stairs. Typically these mattresses have much the same support and comfort as a traditional mattress even with the positive points mentioned.
