Today we are going to be taking a closer look at the Meadow 26 Folding Bed With Foam Free Mattress, a new option from the popular retailer Dreams that looks to be an affordable and versatile easy-to-assemble guest bed. Diving straight into the customer reviews, it looks like the product is easy to assemble, making it a great option for those who are short on time or do not want to deal with complicated assembly instructions. Additionally and more importantly, customers feel the product is suitable for regular use, making it a great option for those who have guests staying over frequently. This is quite impressive as most people generally dislike folding beds, being too thin, too springy and too uncomfortable. Bucking this trend from the outset is fantastic news for prospective buyers and is reinforced by the positive customer reviews and reasonable 1-year guarantee.

One of the standout features of this bed is the choice of a foam free or pocket sprung mattress. This allows customers to choose the type of mattress that best suits their needs and preferences. We would personally advocate for the slightly more expensive pocket spring option, as the body contouring tends to feel more like the mattress found on the average person's bed frame. That said, the foam free model is cheaper and still commands decent feedback from customers who are sleeping on the frame relatively frequently.

Customers have generally been positive about the bed, with many praising its comfort and ease of use. Some have mentioned that the bed is comfortable for short-term guests, but may not be suitable for adults sleeping for over a period of days.  The feedback is not all great however as it looks like packaging might not quite suffice, with some users reporting that the mattress may arrive bent from the middle and that the fold area is not very comfortable as a result. This is the sort of problem solved within that guarantee period and the excellent Dreams customer service can take care of this with minimal fuss.

Other reviews are fairly positive, with reviewers mentioning that the bed is comfortable, easy to store and perfect for guests. Some have even said that it is one of the most comfortable beds they have ever slept on, although we would advise taking that with a pinch of salt as it’s still ultimately a budget folding bed, although it does fair better than competing models. The bed frame is also easy to manoeuvre when folded and is compact enough to fit in most walk-in wardrobes, making it a great option for those who are struggling for space.

I purchased this folding bed at the weekend as I thought it would be handy to have for occasional use, my young daughter was excited to try it out so convinced me to let her sleep on it for the night. I was amazed at how easily it folds and unfolds but even more amazed at how comfortable it was, it is very sturdy and did not creak, no complaints at all. To top it off it is easy to manoeuvre when folded and compact enough to fit in my walk in wardrobe.

Very easy to assemble and compact when folded, which is great for storage space. The castors make it so easy to manoeuvre from one room to another. The actual mattress is so comfortable, which I was very impressed by, as I have been sleeping on this for the past few weeks now and I can honestly say I have had a good night's sleep every night. Highly recommend.

I bought this bed because my husband has Motor Neurons Disease and has to sleep in a hospital style bed, I need to be on hand and our bedroom is not big !! I didn't know how I would manage with this size of bed but it has been perfect !! So comfortable, I get a good night's sleep every night. So very pleased. Can't fault this bed at all.

Easy to assemble and a great solution for guest sleepers to save space. Love how it folds way nicely and can be rolled into a corner. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs a bed for guests or regular sleepers such as a family member who only stays occasionally.

Bed is easy to assemble (what little needs to be assembling), and is extremely comfortable. My mum came to visit and said it was one of the most comfortable beds she's ever slept on. It folds up easily and tucks away nicely into the corner.

We are very pleased with this guest bed. The children have abandoned there own bed, preferring to take it in turns to sleep in this one. The sturdy, but surprisingly light frame provides the support and comfort of a good night's sleep.

Surprisingly decent sleep on this bed, but definitely only for use in short bursts. The mattress is quite thin for obvious reasons so not a long term solution. Id recommend for shirt stay guess especially ok for children.

A light weight, fold up bed on wheels, that is easy to store and extremely comfortable. Bought for our young granddaughters occasional overnights but perfectly suited to an adult too. Really pleased with it.
