I was relatively happy with this mattress protector at first look but rather surprised that, after first wash at 40 degrees (as per instructions) it appeared to shrink by a couple of inches and doesn't quite fit the whole of the king size mattress. As I needed to use it I've kept it but not totally happy. (I have purchased much cheaper makes previously and not found shrinkage even with cotton cover). Good points: Thick cotton cover (although it is quite crunchy not really soft cotton it is not particularly noisy). It does not ride or move under a fitted sheet so bed making is simple. Not so good points (for me personally): I prefer a cover with a "skirt" to tuck in rather than elastic straps. Not so happy with the fit - about four inches not wide enough (on a king size) plus a couple of inches or so short on length. Concerned that it might shrink again with a second wash?

The Flaxby Natures Finest 9450 pillow top mattress i tried in the showroom was indeed a very comfortable bed, very supportive with a feeling of quality. Sadly for the first 2 weeks of ownership the medium firmness mattress has been as hard as a wooden table top and caused poor sleep, aching joints and muscles and has been very disappointing so far. I am now in week 3 and the pillow topper has finally started to soften (or i am just getting used to it) and i am hopeful the mattress will eventually live up to the recommendation of the instore bed that analysed how i sleep and suggested this mattress to be the answer. The instore help and service was superb, the mattress is well made and solidly constructed, and ever the optimist i am hopeful to change my review to 5 stars in the coming weeks.

Amazing!! We bought the king size, solid slat bed with a smart 43 LG TV. We assembled the bed ourselves which wasnt too hard as we were given the instructions on purchase to study before it arrived. It arrived within 6 weeks and the delivery men were so friendly they took everything up to our bedroom for us! The frame itself is very sturdy, barely even wobbles (during activities) we probably could have gone for a better mattress but the one we chose suited budget. The tv takes about 20 seconds to go up and down, comes with a remote to go up and down the remote is even a torch as well! Even the headboard is cosy to sit up and lean against with or without pillows. My only wobble with it is I would have liked the frame to be a bit higher. All in all the best purchase weve ever made!

The service from the Dreams store in Berryden was great, with sound advice given and all questions answered. I was kept informed about the scheduled delivery and was provided with a 2 hour time slot the day before, which was confirmed with a telephone call from the drivers on the day. They were courteous and ensured that the mattresses were in place and as expected, removing my old ones, and taking all the packaging away too. My only issue, was that the cost of removing and disposing of my old mattresses had risen significantly, taking advantage of the difficulty accessing uplifts by the council. I would definitely buy from Dreams again and have recommended them to friends and family.

The mattress protector was supplied to me by Dreams as an essential part of taking out insurance on a new mattress. Being pure cotton it is light and cool, it is very lightly padded and would probably fit comfortably in a washing machine. However, it sits on top of the mattress rather than fitting round it like a fitted sheet. It is fixed in place by elastic straps which go diagonally across each corner under the mattress. Whilst this makes it easier to fit, it tends to 'ping' off on a regular basis. This may be worse because I have an extra deep mattress with a fixed pillow top but I would think it would happen anyway.

I made the purchase of this ottoman storage double divan with aquatic mattress and headboard entirely over the telephone. The sales rep at the Grimsby store was so helpful - I knew I wanted a velvet finish to the bed and he was able to assist me with various pricings, options and colourways. When the bed was delivered, the two gentlemen who assembled it were efficient and friendly and took the time to show me how to access the storage - where to hold when lifting and closing (two separate techniques). I am very happy to recommend Dreams for quality, value and service, from showroom to delivery.

After spending a lot on a previous memory foam mattress that was terrible we had to bite the bullet and go back to a spring mattress - initially this mattress was a shock as it felt so firm. I bought a mattress topper (grudginly)to give it a little softness - its now 3/4 weeks in and im much more used to it. Dreams in york sales service was excellent. The communication about delivery was excellent and the delivery lads were excellent, well mannered and even took their shoes off and i never asked them too. The mattress quality is excellent - i maybe should have got a softer setting

This is a comfortable sofa and as a bed it is firm but still fairly comfortable. Think this will mean that it will last longer though as it is a sprung cushion. Really easy to convert from sofa to a bed and back again and has really useful storage in the chaise longue section to put bedding in. Probably not the best for tall people sleeping on the sofa side due to the arms but for a small space it is ideal. Putting it together was simple enough in principle, but the brackets holding each section together didn't go in easily due to the foam padding surrounding it.

The shop and staff were great really sounded interested and knowledgeable of their products. The delivery was good but matress was marked when we got it. So the left it for us with a view to replacing it. Within a few days they were back to collect and leave another one. Which never reached the house as the driver saw and showed us that that was marked as well. So. They took that one back and are now delivering another tomorrow as i write. Fingers crossed. As i said the shop staff were excelent but their dispatch lets them down.

Best mattress ever. Staff was attentive at the store and guided us to what we wanted and needed. The bedframe took a while to arrive, which lead a delay on the mattress delivery. For some reason the store ignored the fact I required the mattress (which they had in stock) and the bed frame to be delivered separate. Eventually got delivered both items 6-7 weeks later. Costumer service that I spoke at 6 weeks was amazing and sorted it our problems. Thank you. Delivery team was attentive and efficient.

Went into shop to just buy a headboard and thought we would just test a couple of mattresses. After testing a couple soon realised how uncomfortable our one was. Went on the sleep machine which told you what sort of mattress best suits you. The staff helped us with all the information and recommended new pillows which must admit also were great. Although we didn't plan on purchase we don't regret decision as mattress has made such a difference. We don't wake up with any aches and pains.

I have a small double Flaxby 4450 mattress but there doesnt seem to be a suitable protector for it. The protector I was given in store at time of mattress purchase was a different brand and fits more like fitted sheet but is far too big and bunches up.

Answer: If you prefer a better fitting mattress protector you would need to find one with a shallower depth, however this mattress protector would have a different fit to the original mattress protector as it uses corner straps to attach to the mattress, so this may be a better option for you.Thanks
