Becky's Thoughts On The Slumberland Rollo Hybrid Duo Plus Rolled Up Mattress

The Rollo Hybrid Duo Plus by Slumberland – one of the most comfortable mattresses you can buy. This mattress is as comfortable as it is clever with an innovative design which combines a classic memory foam comfort layer with a luxury pocket spring support layer to give you the best of both worlds – soft support and pressure relief. The result? A mattress that is supremely comfortable, with a clean, fresh design that is sure to please everyone.
Lets dive in a little closer and take a look first at that comfort layer, made up of 3 parts. At the bottom of this layer, we have the Slumberbreathe foam, this is a thin layer that separates the memory foam from direct contact with the springs and is breathable enough to avoid the common pitfall other memory foam mattresses have whereby they absorb heat and retain it throughout the night. Other mattresses neglect this layer and as a result, you may overheat. Onto the second part in the layer, the memory foam. You get a generous helping hear and a good amount of thickness to allow you to sink sufficiently into the mattress. Finally, you have a quilted soft-touch sleep surface that moulds effortlessly with the memory foam and Slumberbreathe beneath it to give the ultimate in softness.
The comfort layer is nothing on its own however, it requires support in order to properly house your body while you sleep. Without support, the soft comfort of a mattress would be wasted as you would awake with pain. With the Rollo Hybrid Duo Plus you get a fantastic combination of 1400 Posture Pocket springs that work hand in hand with a further 1500 micro springs. Combined, you get effortless body moulding and contouring, both of which give fantastic support regardless of the soft tension designated to this product.
With a 8 year guarantee, its clear to see that the manufacturer and brand both believe in this product. Reviews so far are very positive also, amassing 5/5 from all that have reviewed at the time of this article.

Rolled up hybrid mattress for quick and easy delivery

Roll up mattresses, also known as bed-in-a-box mattresses are fairly new to the scene, first cropping up via the likes of Eve and Simba back in 2016. Since then there has been a rise in popularity due to their lower price point (due to delivery and storage costs) and their convenience for getting up stairs. Typically these mattresses have much the same support and comfort as a traditional mattress even with the positive points mentioned.

Cleaner, greener memory foam for maximum pressure relief

In an effort to be ever-more environmentally conscious, Bensons for Beds has adapted the packaging of many of their products, mainly in the mattress line-up. What this means is that the packaging for the mattress is all renewable, made from thick polythene sheeting that makes up the packaging, delivering a good experience for both the customer, and the environment.

Easy care, non-turn mattress

Non-turn mattresses do not need to be flipped as the support layer, that's the layer that is soft and spongey, is only on one side. Being on one side is more convenient for the end-user while also allowing further cost savings to be passed onto the consumer. It is a very common way of maximising the quality of a product while keeping costs down.

2900 full height and mini springs for superior core support and comfort

Typically, the more springs the better. The average mattress has around 1000 springs and so anything more than that is considered good. The firmness/tension of a mattress is also not dictated by the amount of springs and so you do not need to worry about the firmness being unsuitable when it comes to spring count. Simply the more springs, the better the mattress can contour to your body. 2900 springs is considered great.

Enhanced quilted sleep surface made from recycled plastic bottles

Slumberbreathe – temperature regulating foam to keep you cool

Firmness rating: Soft

Soft support mattresses allow you to sink further into your mattress. This tension is ideal for those that sleep on their side or are looking specifically for a softer support than normal. Great for those who like to be hugged by their mattress.

Exclusive 100 night trail available

Sleep trials are starting to become more common in the UK mattress market First championed by bed in a box retailers back in 2015 like Eve and Casper they rose to success as they allowed consumers to have more confidence in what they were buying online as the trial gave people a way to try without having to commit. Where previously people went to stores, today they buy online and get hassle free returns if they do not like it. 100 nights is plenty of time to determine whether or not you like the product and if you don't, returning can be arranged for you.

We originally bought a mattress from Emma for close to £1000 only to receive used pillows with hairs and stains on (straight out the box). Didn't want to lay on the mattress after that. Still waiting for a refund more then a month on. Benson's do Beds was Excellent. Did exactly what it says on the tin and provided a super comfortable mattress. The only point I would make is signs in the showroom say "take away same day" but that's not actually the case with most of the beds on show.

I have had this mattress a couple of weeks now and find it very comfortable, I bought it in soft comfort level, as I have shoulder problems, but still find it quite firm but comfortable, maybe it will soften a bit more in time. It is very well made and I think worth the money.

5

Really pleased with comfort, found it a bit odd that when mattress protector was delivered driver had to take photo of husband holding it, yet when the actual £700 Mattress was delivered it was just dumped on doorstep and left. Luckily it wasn't stolen.

Love it, love it, love it ! Soft and comfortable, this mattress moulds itself to your body shape giving full support to all your frame regardless of how you lay. Completely satisfied customers!
