What Makes The Slumberland PremiAIR Aero Gel Fusion 2400 Mattress Great

No roll together

Specifically designed with roll together prevention in mind. This means the product likely has better quality internals and offers better support than other mattresses in the same price point.

Turning Handles

Have you ever tried rotating or flipping a mattress without handles? You have to do that weird thing where you use your head as a third arm as you sort of nudge it with your face. Take the handles as a blessing

Pillow Top

Many mattresses that you see that look really plush, do so because they feature a pillow top. Benefits of a pillow top mattress are increased comfort and luxury styling. Downsides are they can be a bit of a pain to get sheets over properly

Individual Pocket Springs

The ideal choice in construction when choosing a mattress, pocket sprung mattresses offer, in our opinion, the best combination of support and comfort. The number of pocket springs can be equally important however

No Need To Turn

This means that the product does not need to be turned over, but make no mistake, that is not the same as saying a product does not need to be rotated. If you do not want dips in your mattress with time, be sure to rotate evenly every month where possible

32cm deep

32cm is a very chunky mattress. Note that this product is likely to include a thick comfort later as well as a decent sizes support layer. You will need deeper fitting sheets as this is an absolute beast.

Latex

Latex mattresses will never be latex all the way through, rather, it will be used as a top later. We often find that latex foam, combined with either springs or reflex foam will be combined in order to create the perfect mattress.

Pocket springs

Pocket springs are like natures own springy piece of comfort, except they are not from nature. Alas, pocket springs are a very good part of a mattress and often found in the more premium models. Lower quality products will frequently use open coil spring setups, where pocket springs house each spring in a tiny pocket for additional stability and continued support. Pocket spring typically lasts longer than open coil due to this.

Medium to Firm Support (4)

Medium to Firm support is largely suitable for most people. Where medium is the typical catch-all, a medium to firm sits in the middle between medium and firm and gives that additional bit of support that is ideal for those of average BMI or higher, and those that suffer from any amount of back pain.

Micro-Quilted Cover

Often distinguishable by a diamond shape on the cover, this type of quilting will typically be made up from around 800gsm of polyester and offer an amount of comfort and separation between the springs and base of the mattress

Natural Responsive Latex

Natural Responsive Latex is a top layer for mattresses that features many of the better qualities of memory foam but with non of the negatives around breath-ability, moisture and heat retention. It is a personal favourite of ours and one we would recommend heavily.
