The Monroe Pocket Sprung Mattress is one of the latest in a range of new products from The Dreams Workshop, an in-house brand that helps support the popular retailer, Dreams.
The Monroe is, as the name suggests, a pocket spring mattress which offers superb support and is far more preferable than poorer quality traditional spring support often found at this price point. Pocket springs are housed in their own little pockets and helps ensure springs are spread evenly, allowing your entire body to contour.
Featuring deep layers of fillings as a comfort layer, this mattress is handcrafted in the UK and has more than enough comfort for the majority of people. The support is great and as a complete package, will allow you to get a great nights sleep.
The Monroe is a firm tension mattress, this means that it will be most suitable for those that suffer from back or neck pain, or, have an average or higher BMI.
The product is fairly new and so reviews are only just starting to trickle in at time of review but we've still managed to accumulate over 200 in the short period since the products launch. Reviews talk about how good the mattress has been for their back pain, offering good levels of support thanks to that firm pocket spring support system. Others make mention of the impressive quality to cost, showing that the mattress is well priced for the materials on offer.
Negative reviews are predictably around tension, with a few people finding the mattress too soft, with others finding it too firm. As always tension is very much subjective but the most important takeaway is that the vast majority and some 93% recommendations, are all very much happy with the tension.
Reasons to Buy
Firm tension is ideal for those that need a bit more support.
Pocket springs are a great option for all, the support layer is my personal favourite.
Reasons to Avoid
Some people unhappy around tension though this appears to be entirely subjective, vast majority happy.
