Reasons to Buy

Great price point that is difficult to compete with.

Well-known manufacturer that will perform over time.

Reasons to Avoid

Lack of turning handles makes it a bit cumbersome to move once in place. While there is no need to flip this product, rotation is still recommended.

What Makes The Mlily Bamboo+ Deluxe Memory 1500 Pocket Mattress Great?

This product is unlikely to cause any sort of allergic reaction. Ideal if you suffer from any sort of allergy problems

5 year guarantee

A 5 year guarantee is quite rare in the industry and is a great indicator of the retailer beleiving in their product. Anything go wrong in the next 5 years, no drama, get it replaced.

Firm mattresses are great for those looking for an extra bit of support, either because they have a higher BMI and leanm toward the heavier side, or because they have joint and muscle pain and appreciate a decent amount of support while they sleep. If you are not actively looking for a firm mattress it may be wise to consider something else from the range that is perhaps closer to the medium firmness rating

Pressure Relief

One of the big complaints when settling into a new mattress is that it does not feel as comfortable as they hoped, where this mattress shines is in the enhanced pressure relief that it offers. Each part of your body exerts different amounts of pressure against the mattress and through the use of springs and foams, these products are able to offer significant pressure relief as a result across the entire body.

Memory Foam

memory foam is one of the most well known materials used in the upper layer of mattresses. Memory foam basically contours to your entire body with moulding properties. Designed by NASA, this material rebounds to your touch and feels like you are floating on a cloud. Memory foam does not necesserily mean soft either, you can still have firm mattresses for those that want them with a bit of memory foam.

Knitted Cover

It is common in the industry to have a knitted cover, these covers can come in a variety of patterns but are typically hard wearing and do not present problems for consumers.

Super-easy care - no need to flip over

It is import to rotate your mattress because it helps ensure even settlement of fillings and ensure even distribution is maintained. Further to this it also means that more than one area of the mattress is used equally, increasing longevity and lifespan as part of typical mattress care.

25cm deep

A 25cm mattress is a good depth for a product of quality. Plenty of room for some good quality springs and enough space for a good top layer of comfort. This side of product should just about fit a standard sheet but do not be surprised if you find you do need to upgrade to a deeper fill sheet to fit over the mattress.

Reflex foam

Reflex foam is basically like memory foam without the memory part. Reflex foam is used more as a supportive layer than a comfort layer and is often used as an alternative to conventional spring systems.

Removable cover

Removable covers are great. We don't typically replace mattresses for 7-8 years. That's a lot of body fluids and protectors and sheets can only do so much. To that end getting that extra layer of cleanliness goes a huge way toward ensuring you get longevity out of your product.

Single sided means only one side is comfy. Positives are you only need to rotate the mattress occassionaly rather than the more cumbersome rotate and flip. Downside is the lifespan of the product may suffer as a result, only marginal, but worth mentioning.

Gel foam

Gel foam is used as a top layer and offers much of the same sort of comfort as memory foam but without the heat build up normally associated with it. All the pros and non of the cons. It's a great choice for those looking for something a bit better than traditional memory foam.

27cm deep

27cm is a deep mattress. You may require deeper sheets in order to be able to comfortably get them around the mattress. Regardless though, the general rule of thumb is that while depth is not entirely an appropriate guage of quality, you cannot get a good quality mattress with decent comfort and support in a thin frame. This size of mattress definitely adds credence to the fact that it is likely to be made of good quality internals and stand the test of time.

The ultimate hybrid mattress

Combining pocket springs and gel memory foam

Orthopaedic - designed to care for your back, rated firm

Cushioning 2cm layer of gel-infused quilted cloud gel-memory foam

Refreshing 3cm layer of cooling cloud gel-memory foam

2000 individual pocket springs

Typically, the more springs the better. The average mattress has around 1000 springs and so anything more than that is considered good. The firmness/tension of a mattress is also not dictated by the amount of springs and so you do not need to worry about the firmness being unsuitable when it comes to spring count. Simply the more springs, the better the mattress can contour to your body. 2000 springs is considered great.

More space to sleep with breathable airtech foam encapsulation

Sleep right to the edge of your mattress

Pressure-relieving - cares for your joints and back

Comfy gel memory quilted cover

Hypoallergenic for a fresh sleeping environment

This hypoallergenic mattress has everything you need to help you relax and recharge. With strengthened protection against allergens, ths mattress offers increased durability for a healthier, more comfortable night’s sleep.

Single-sided - no need to turn

A single sided mattress is typical for the industry and relates to how  a mattress has the comfort layer on one side of the mattress. only This means that the mattress only needs to be rotated rather than flipped. The benefit of single sided mattresses is that they require less upkeep in that there's no flipping, but also, there's less components involved in the creation which saves costs.

Rolled-up - easier to manoeuvre around your house

Rolled mattresses have advanced in recent years and given rise to numerous bed-in-a-box manufacturers like Emma, Otty, Nectar, Casper and more. The benefit of a rolled mattress is simple, they are easier to store, cheaper to dispatch and have huge logistical savings that mean the savings can be passed onto consumers. The result is that rolled mattresses are often cheaper for similar specifications than their traditional counterparts making for great savings with very little downside. With a smaller carbon footprint as the icing on the cake, rolled mattresses expand into a normal mattress once unpacked and make a lot of sense for most people.

Rolled mattresses are better for the environment

Rolled mattresses have a unique benefit in that they expand to the size of a normal mattress but are delivered rolled up. The benefit of rolled mattresses is that the retailer is able to offer significant discounts since there are savings in logistics, storage and delivery costs that can get passed to the consumer. As a result it is often cheaper to purchase an equivalent rolled mattress compared to its non rolled counterpart.

Depth: 27cm

The industry standard for mattress depth is 7 inches. With most offering a comfortable 10 to 14 inches, so this one at 10 inches is one of the most popular sizes. The higher the load, the deeper it needs to be but a quality mattress in this size can be equally as comfortable and supportive as a deeper budget mattress.

Pocket springs

Pocket springs are like natures own springy piece of comfort, except they are not from nature. Alas, pocket springs are a very good part of a mattress and often found in the more premium models. Lower quality products will frequently use open coil spring setups, where pocket springs house each spring in a tiny pocket for additional stability and continued support. Pocket spring typically lasts longer than open coil due to this.

Reinforced mattress edge

One of the most common complaints in the industry is against mattresses with a weak mattress edge. It can often result in the user feeling like they are going to fall off the side of the bed and bed avoided. This mattress has a reinforced edge, something that helps ensure that particular scenario is avoided when you get close to a mattress edge while sleeping.

Rolled up mattresses are ideal for anyone looking at trying to get a mattress up a tight staircase or in a car to bring home from the shops. Do not missunderstand just how troublesome getting a mattress up stairs can be. Heavy and cumbersome, sometimes a rolled up mattress that expands to the side of a full mattress anyway, may be the better option

Fire Resistant

Fire resistant does not mean the product will never catch fire, rather, it will not go up in flames quite so quickly. Resistant to fire in the same way that I am resistant to kisses, sooner or later you end up giving in.

Cooling memory foam mattress

Cosy and supportive memory foam and pocket sprung mattress

Stay cool and fresh with the 3cm Bamboo Charcoal Memory Foam

Plush 2cm layer of Flex Comfort Foam

1500 pocket springs for tailored support

Aero-Flex border gives you more space to snooze

Rated medium for the perfect balance of comfort and support

Medium mattresses are widely considered the goldilocks of support. This is because they are largely suitable for a majority of people. Side sleeper, back sleeper, front sleeper, a medium tension mattress will suit all provided you are of average build and don't suffer from more troublesome ailments.

Soft, comfy cover

Hypoallergenic - perfect for if you suffer from allergies

This hypoallergenic mattress has everything you need to help you relax and recharge. With strengthened protection against allergens, ths mattress offers increased durability for a healthier, more comfortable night’s sleep.

Arrives rolled for your convenience

Rolled mattresses are delivered in a smaller airtight mode of shipping that saves retailers on shipping, storage and logistics costs that mean they can pass the savings onto consumers in the form of lower prices. The result means that you can often get a similarly specification mattress for less in rolled form which is fantastic news for those on a budget. With very little downside and positive experiences across the industry, there's plenty of great reasons to make your next mattress a rolled bed-in-a-box product.
