Tempur vs Simba Mattresses

What a lovely mattress and like nothing we've had before. Last time we changed our mattress we went for one with a memory foam topper built in which proved to be a big mistake. The topper would move and we'd wake up in the night to find our pillows had disappeared down the back, so we knew we didn't want one of those again. Anyway. So having had this mattress around 4 weeks now and having slept on the cloud mattress for 4 weeks I can say this mattress has made a difference to my sleep. So previously I had a memory foam mattress from Ikea which cost me around £300, it was quite hard but we made do with it as I guess other things in life take precedent. OK, so having broken my back 40 years ago, I’ve spent a fair chunk of my disposable income on different mattresses and beds, latex, pocket sprung, Vi-Spring - you get my drift. Sadly, none of these gave me exactly the correct amount of support in the places where this was crucial to getting a peaceful, restful and refreshing night’s sleep. Fast-forward to our visit to “Dreams” at Plympton. Joy of joys! No pressure, no salesperson hovering over us as we tried to adopt unrealistic “sleeping” poses. I purchased this mattress a couple of months ago; having had our previous mattress for well over 8 years. Both myself and my partner prefer a firmer density in mattress, but not overly firm so it feels hard, and one that helps keep us cool. We started looking at various types; ruling out the cheap ones as they were horribly uncomfortable especially with their spring base. Eventually; we came to this one. The mattress is firm but not overly hard. The foam is at the perfect density for us - it moves and adapts to your body to help support you where you need it. We’re both happy with our choice and find it difficult to sleep on anything else. A word of caution - this was advertised as coming with a ‘cooling’ layer, which was great in the showroom. However, in real life circumstances - with a bottom sheet and protector on - there is no real benefit from the cooling layer. Don’t base your choice to buy the mattress solely on that. Another word of caution - the first few nights with this were dreadful. We expected to go to sleep on it and immediately drop off and feel like we were on a cloud. The first couple of nights were uncomfortable and it took a while to get used to, especially having not hadn’t a memory foam mattress before. Stick with it though - it’s an excellent mattress overall

I have looked at Tempur mattresses many times over the years, but the price was always a stumbling block. Recently, I decided that my existing mattress needed to be replaced, and, once again, I contemplated splashing out on a Tempur. I have now been sleeping on my new mattress for about 3 weeks, and can thoroughly recommend it. I don’t quite know how the cool touch cover works, but it does! It’s cool, but not cold. It certainly makes a difference to my sleep. I love the idea that the top cover can be easily unzipped for washing, and the fact that the mattress does not need to be rotated is another huge bonus.

When I saw online I must of read it so many times as I didn't want to get wrong.When it came it I aired it out and put my bedding.As soon I got in bed I felt it was very comfortable not hard , my back pain had gone within a few minutes even if I sit up and rest my legs I can be on my mattress 24 hours but before u couldn't I could get up.In my mattress I can read lie down , do my zoom meetings, training, work without having to keep moving as its stays the the same.

Didn't know where to start choosing a new (well overdue) mattress, heard a lot about Simba so we gave it a go. Best night sleep ever, my wife does get restless and it's either improved or I'm not noticing her moving about.The support is fantastic and it's comfortable too, firmish feel but you still sink into it.Best decision we have made in a long time, happy to recommend.

My wife has suffered with her back for years and has had operation to alleviate some of the pain. I bought her a foam mattress to give her more support but after two years of perseverance she was in agony every morning! OK - good service , delivered on time and old mattress taken away .The SIMBA is certainly acceptable I wont bother sending it back under their 100 night guarantee but something about it not quite to my liking. Maybe it needs to sit on a divan rather than an oak framed bed like mine.Anyway it's not causing me any sleepless nights , so Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz !

Can't fault my Simba mattress, getting the best nights sleep I can ever remember, supports me from head to toe, my lower back is feeling fantastic, a problem area for me.The mattress is rolled which is really convenient in this pandemic.
