Ruskin Metal Bed Frame

The bed looks great, but here are my issues with it: 1) packaging is done in such a way that if you start cutting the tightly tied plasic wires holding the protective packaging and frame together you will end up scratching the paint off the frame; 2) it is very hard to assemble on your own, despite what customer service chat person might tell you - you ll need to balance very heavy frame parts in order to get the bolts in the right holes. It took me 2 hours if not longer to put everything together and still 3) one of the grooves where a bolt is supposed to go in was defective and the bolt only went half way and now has its threading dmagaed from all the effort applied to try and screw it in. Not sure therefore how securly built this bed will prove to be

Bed arrived quickly and well-packaged by a couple of nice chaps. The bed itself is just how it looks on the website - goes together easily enough. There's nothing particularly that screams super-high quality but it doesn't feel like it's going to break or tarnish either. The frame is more brown than I could tell from the photos but it's not a problem for me (just, if you were expecting black - it's not). The underside requires a central support so take that into account if you're planning to store things underneath.

I bought this a few months ago. I love the design and how easy it was to assemble. At first, I booked the service to assemble it. They were really nice and polite. I moved to a new flat and had to disassemble and then reassemble it on my own. With the stock I got, I noticed that the workmanship was not as smooth. There was a sharp edge and the headboard didnt feel as sturdy as youd hope especially when you lean pillows on it to read in bed. Overall I am still happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I received this bed several weeks ago now & Im pretty happy with it. As I live alone it was a struggle to put together - but if I had an extra set of hands it really would have been a breeze as everything was well labelled and pretty logical to assemble. In terms of comfort, I love it - the frame provides more support than I would have expected as there is only one supporting leg in the centre of the bed. My only issue is that as the bed is metal, it can be a bit squeaky when getting in or out.

I bought a bedframe but there were issues so I cancelled my order. I then found our Dreams bedframe and were delighted with it! The sprung slats are so comfortable and the mesh styling really suits what is a multipurpose room as its less obvious than a solid wood frame. I read the reviews before purchase and the main complaint was that people would have preferred a black colour whereas this is a dark brown. This wasnt an issue for me and Im so glad it didnt sway me at the time.

I bought this for my 16yr old daughter after her last bed broke. I was looking for a reasonably priced, strong & sturdy bed frame that was able to stand up to a clumsy teenager as well as looking smart. This bed frame fit the bill perfectly. We ordered the version with sprung slats and found the whole thing very easy to put together with two people & the end result felt sturdy and as though it would last. Both I am my daughter are very happy with it.

Bought this bed when I moved into my room house, my partner and I looked for ages and she stumbled across this one. I must say it was a great choice - with some beds you get naff wooden planks that break after a few months, these slats are built to last! The frame is also sturdy and because of its material, it's really easy to move around the room when you feel like a change. Highly recommend this product! Thanks guys!

Looks great and very easy to assemble. Goes great in my room with a couple of industrial style bedside lamps. Slats feel good quality so hopefully they'll last a while. Only thing that stopped me putting 5 stars is that I wish that the site had the precise measurements for the bottom end piece as it was a little taller than I'd hoped so I had to get a new tv stand so the bar didn't block at a chuck of my tv.

Good solid bed, what i love most is how easy the floor is to lay out. The metallic look gives a nice industrial feel to the room. Was easy to assemble seeing that i did it alone, all you need is something to hold the other end so its level, then you can fasten the bolts together. Its light enough to carry, making it easy for house moves. love that i can see under the bed as well.

Fantastic initial contact with dreams, needing to change the delivery date, time and address. Very easy and really good service from team. The delivery was very informative, with a specific time and great tracking. Delivery men carried up to top floor of the flat and were lovely. The product was very quick and easy to assemble. Bed Is brilliant, robust and looks great. Comfy too

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with the bed frame. Easy enough to assemble, seems to be very robust and doesn't squeak as you move in it. Looks decent too. Only issue I had with it was that not enough washers were supplied to construct as per the instructions. I have it with a Simba mattress and it is very comfortable to sleep in. Would recommend.

I bought this bed about a month ago and decided not to pay for assembly. The bed was really easy to put together and looks so good. When I've had people over to view my new flat, I've had many compliments on the industrial style bed. As said in other reviews the colour is actually brown not black but it looks great. Can't fault it. Highly recommend!

I am over all very happy with this bed frame. The metal is of a good quality and the colour is just as shown in the pictures. It was easy to build and was delivered smoothly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a metal bed frame; although it is slightly more expensive than other metal frames, the quality really shows

Absolutely love my new bed. Was really easy to assemble, looks fab... very on trend. Guys who did the delivery were very polite, called 10 minutes before they arrived. Asked which room I would the bed putting in and even took there shoes off before coming in to the house! Would highly recommend dreams to my friends and family

I bought this bed a month ago and we are more than happy with it. It's great as it is quite high and very stable. It doesn't make any noise and looks really nice - industrial style. Very good quality. Delivery was amazing, they were very punctual and delivered it straight to our bedroom. I definitely recommend this bed.

Would highly recommend this. I've had it for a month and have no complaints! Makes no noise whatsoever! I paid for assembly and the guys had it up in 15 minutes and can't complain! I opted for the sprung slats and so glad I did - comfortable is an understatement! The colour is dark brown/almost black and I love it!

Just had 2 criteria for this purchase. Had to be able to be rebuilt for moving house(s) and had to be easy to build / rebuild. It fits these criteria perfectly so no complaints 5*. The added bonus was that the delivery men were the nicest weve ever had here. Dreams seem to employ lovely people - very impressive.

We have been sleeping on the bed for 5 weeks now. It assembled quite easily and the quality of material and finish is excellent. We purchased the option of the sprung base and I would recommend this. The difference from our old bed frame with wooden slats is quite noticeable and it's more comfortable.

I purchased this bed over a month ago, and have loved it everyday since. It has a strong sturdy build to it, and is easy to build with 2 people! We have installed light's behind the headboard which gives it a more comfortable setting at night, and has plenty of storage for bits and bobs underneath.

For the money, this is a fantastic bed for those looking for an industrial style frame. My only negative is that the images make the bed look more black, but it is most definitely a dark brown. I appreciate the description says dark brown but I was almost hoping it was darker than it actually is!

Looks very good in an industrial modern themed room. Its. A dark brown rather than black but looks good. We had a damaged headboard on delivery but was quickly replaced. Good deal on damage insurance which is reassuring, the mesh might not be the most stable but still looks good.

This product is exactly as advertised and what we wanted! It is very good quality and I can already tell this is a bed that is going to last for a while! It was delivered and placed in the room of my choice. It was very easy to build matches the bedroom perfectly! Thanks Dreams.

Bought this a few weeks ago for our spare bedroom and it looks fantastic. Goes with any decor, good height for under-bed storage. Only gripe is there was an extra piece of metal sticking out of the headboard - but easily removed with pliers. Looks great with simple bed linen.

Ive had this in my master bedroom for around 3 weeks now. Its really sturdy and looks great. The headboard isnt very high though so if you have a really thick mattress it might ruin the look. Good height from the floor so plenty of room for storage. Great value for money.

Assembly was incredibly easy and took 30 mins. The aesthetic of the bed is great and fits brilliantly with similar styles. The headboard is my only gripe, feels weak when pressure is put on it although it hasnt broken. Overall a great bed, just be aware of headboard

Been sleeping in this bed for just over a month now. It is sturdy, looks classy and more importantly not squeeky. I know some metal beds have a tendency to make a lot of noise but this one is fantastic. Goes really well with the decor in my room. I love it.

Looks good. Not squeaky. Easy to put together in 25 mins with 2 people, no tools needed. Dreams texted me throughout with delivery updates. Only reservation is the mesh on the headboard feels likely to warp/bend over time if you are sitting up reading...

Its a nice looking bed that really makes an impact in the appearance of the room. It is sturdy and doesnt make the usual creaky sound you expect from a metal bed. Only reason to take out a star is how weak the headboard seems to be, I would lean on it.

Very pleased with this bed, I went in store to find it but they didn't have it on display and I took a chance as I wanted the industrial look bed. The picture online is accurate, it is a very dark brown/black colour, easy to put up and feels sturdy.

The frame is solid, was fairly straight forward to put together. There was one hole that was rather difficult to line up to insert the bolt. Head board can be a bit squeaky if leaning against it. Otherwise it is exactly what I wanted.

I love this bed very much, it's beautiful. Only issue is that after less than a month, the middle peg has already come off! What's up with that?! We will have to try and screw it on again in a different area on one of the slats.

Love the industrial look of this bed, really easy to assemble. After a year of sleeping in the worlds squeakiest bed I was looking for something that made no noise- this is perfect. Good height to get stuff under also.

Looks good and well made. My only concern is the. Metal grill on the headboard flexes easily so not sure how durable that'll be long term, it's fine at the moment. Also delivery took 3 months, which was annoying.

The bed is really simple to put together. Looks great in situ. One concern is the headboard mesh creeks as the pillow moves against it in the night, where it has movement in it. Currently disturbing sleep.

This bed frame looks just like it does in the picture. The dark brown colour is really nice, less harsh than black. It was straightforward to assemble, took about 1-1.5 hours. I love how it looks!

Brilliant bed, perfect for what I wanted and much cheaper than many other industrial styles. Easy to put together, very sturdy and a good size- not too bulky for a king. Highly recommended.

Sturdy bed with four sections that require assembly. It looks great in the room and the mesh effect works well. It was easy to assemble which is a bonus; two people it took 20 minutes.

Purchased a month or so ago, great solid frame, no squeaks and doesn't wobble. Fairly easy to assemble. I thought it was black but its a very dark brown but it still fits in nicely.
