Silentnight Epping Miracoil Ortho Mattress

Having slept for months in a 'hole' on a tired out mattress our backs could take no more and this product was the answer. The delivery date at time of purchase was when it actually arrived. Tick. The delivery time text and email arrived and was accurate. Tick. The delivery team called to confirm their imminent arrival. Tick. They recycled our old mattress (pre-arranged small charge but well worth it) and replaced it with our new one in around ten minutes and were courteous and considerate in our home. Major tick. 'Very firm' is just that, we bought without trying, knowing we could always add a Silentnight topper if we needed to soften things slightly (compromise with the wife). End result is a fancy looking mattress (well, until we put our 'fancy' bedding on...) and a good, supported night's sleep at a decent temperature. First class in every way! Highly recommended product from a highly recommended Dreams.

This mattress has given me my life back. Seriously! And its my reason for getting up...simply so that I can relish my time going back to bed when the day is done! Sometimes we dont realise how bad things have got, until we make changes for the better. Thats what happened with me and my new mattress. I had no idea just how poor the quality of my sleep had become....until it was no longer a night of uncomfortable turnings because of my aching back. I have a severe back condition and the last three mattresses let me down support wise, to my great relief I have found the mattress of my dreams. I bought this mattress to replace a old pocket sprung mattress that springs had failed, this is much more sturdy classic design and i feel it could easily last 10 years. Always buy a extra firm mattress as springs soften with age and firm support for the spine is very important rather than this trendy cheap memory foam alternatives. Also after taking apart my old pocket sprung mattress i was horrified how planned obsolescence is built into pocket sprung mattresses. Buy the old fashioned non pocket sprung mattresses while you still can!

I have been looking for an extra firm mattress for a while, I do suffer with back and neck and was waking up in so much pain and discomfort. After debating whether to go for one of the many memory foam mattresses on the market, that seem so popular, I decided to go with good old Silentnight. I am very pleased I did. Lovely firm mattress, very supportive. Is helping my back a lot and I actually feel relaxed now when I go to bed, instead of struggling to get comfortable. Appears excellent quality and well made. I am very pleased with our new Slumberland mattress and from the ordering process through to the delivery of the item we were kept fully updated and informed and given a timed delivery slot. We choose to use the recycling service for the old mattress and again the service was second to none. We were sent packaging to wrap the old mattress prior to the delivery date and the delivery of the new mattress and the collection of the old mattress were carried out at the same time. Im really happy with my purchase, as someone who has a history of back problems I was dreading having to pay out a small fortune to get something just right for me so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the feedback from people who had bought this mattress. I decided to give it a go as Im on a tight budget and Im glad I did, I dont wake up with aches and twinges for the first hour of day each day like I used to and I get much better quality of sleep. I recommend this mattress, great value for money.

Bought this about two months ago as my previous mattress was nearly 8 years old and I was waking up with a very painful and stiff back - had this new mattress now for over one month and it has provided a blissful restive night's sleep with less pain and stiffness for my back condition. I am so glad I purchased it and it was well worth the money. The only suggestion would be to add handles to the sides of the mattress to make turning the mattress easier especially if you have a back condition.

Really happy with this mattress. Had been waking up with lower back aches for months without considering replacing my mattress, wish I had done sooner. Would consider this a very firm mattress, but with enough 'padding' on the top layer to keep it really comfortable. I'm a back sleeper - and this has been ideal. Have had excellent fortnight of sleeps so far with noticeably less aches in the mornings. Happy with the product, delivery was well communicated, couldn't ask for more really.

At last, I bid farewell to my old mattress, well past its prime, and welcome a new one. It took a few days to get used to a mattress that - well, one that works! Once my body adjusted to having support again, I am now able to sleep in chunks of 3-4 hours at once. This may not sound much to some of you, but for me it's worth it's weight in gold as I no longer feel quite so much like I've just been exhumed when I leave for work each morning.

I bought this mattress as it was recommended by me tthe people of dreams. I have a hip problem and having M.E so spends quite a lot of time in bed so needed my bed to be really comfy and not Inflict me with more pain.So far this is not doing this. I did findthe mattress abut bed comfortable for the first few days is I could feel the buttons on the mattress which was not pleasant. So I bought a topper and this is now fine.

We bought this as we had an Emma mattress that went really soft after 11 months. This doesnt feel like a luxury mattress but for the money we didnt expect it to. However its so much cooler to sleep on than the Emma mattress was, its also lovely and firm. Its taken us a couple of weeks to get used to but we are now sleeping much better than we have for ages. Only deducted 1 star as it doesnt have that luxury feel.

I received my mattress two weeks ago and it is the best thing Ive bought in a while. Ive had a miracoil mattress in the past and nothing beats them they seem to keep their structure over the years. On this mattress there is a thick top layer for extra comfort which feels similar to memory foam. The miracoil offers zoned support which has helped with my back problems with this mattress. Over all brilliant!

Bought this mattress over a month ago, and couldnt be more delighted with it, with old mattress I was up throughout the night for years and also had back problems, was applying cura heat pads , ibu gel also , this has all stopped which Im soo happy about since I received my dreams mattress and couldnt be more happy about just wish Id bought one alot sooner and would certainly recommend to anyone.

Purchased a double Silentnight Epping Miracoil Mattress as my back was really hurting with another mattress from a different brand, I read the reviews and could see that other people highly recommended this mattress so decided to buy it and I slept all night without being uncomfortable and woke up refreshed. I love this mattress and am glad I decided to try it out. Highly recommended.

We call it the cloud bed. We have had it for 2 weeks and already it has made such a huge impact on mine and my partners sleep. It is quite thick and firm enough to give a good amount of support but still really comfy. We have this mattress with the Doze reversable memory foam topper which just makes it amazing, it's not really necessary but does give that extra layer of comfort!

I bought this production a month ago and the changes have been great.waking up without back pains and I'm able to start my day energised having had a good nights sleep.i work in the health care System ,having done some night shifts going home. First of all- excellent delivery service. Guys arrived 15 min before the scheduled time, which was awesome. They unpacked the mattress and put it in the bed frame, took the old mattress away. Everything went so smooth! And mattress- as stated- nice and firm, so far very happy with it. Will see if it can hold the shape after a longer period of time.

Delivery was on time and communication from Dreams and their delivery drivers was excellent; kept informed throughout process from ordering to deliver. The mattress is perfect just what I wanted and the recycling option of the old mattress suited my needs. The only thing missing from this mattress is handles each side for east movement/turning.

Super firm mattress at a great price. Very comfortable for our needs. Purchased before Christmas, then it was in the January sale. Dreams refunded the difference with no quibble...great company and definitely recommend. Delivery was ideal with lots of choice and the 2 guys where polite, friendly and efficient even taking away the packaging.

It is a lovely mattress, great thickness to feel supported but not too high or thick that you cannot get bed sheets around it! We wanted a firm mattress and wow its great! Not hard where it hurts like some but so firm that we dont have back pain anymore. The first day we got it was the best nights sleep weve had in years!

Absolutely fantastic mattress. We needed a new mattress as ours was old and every morning my back would be killing me! Since having our new one I havent had a single back pain and I sleep better now (no more interrupted sleep) I cannot recommend this mattress enough if you suffer with your back its by far the best.

Ordered a king size firm mattress , mattress is firm however it appears to be just short in length of being a king size mattress . Previous mattresses have always fitted perfectly within my frame. Only into week 3 of owning it so hopefully following the mattress guidance will ensure the firmness .

Never thought I could find a bed so firm for my back I have a pars fracture in my lower back and never found a bed to support my back I'm so happy and please I found this mattress I would recommend it to anyone who has back issues and although it's very firm it's also really light easy to turn around

I've had my mattress a few weeks now and have noticed how much better I sleep. I did think that being a very firm mattress it might be uncomfortable as my previous mattress was memory foam but I was mistaken. Good value for the money, even better now as it has been reduced since I brought mine!

This matress is very firm the first few weeks it hurt my back but now its brilliant my posture seems a lot better and Im getting a full nights sleep I would defo recommend if you have posture problems I sleep on my back and sometimes on my side and its fine for both once you get used to it xx

Improved my sleep. Is huge, so heavily pregnant me plus my extremely tall (6'6) partner fit spaciously. Also hard enough for me to feel comfortable bed sharing when little one arrived. Friendly delivery guys. Slight wait for mattress - two weeks or more - but was over Xmas / New Year tbf.

I bought this as my wife wanted a firm mattress - my preference is for softer. However, I have had my opinion changed! It is firm but very comfortable and I wouldn't want to change it. Delivery was great - the guys brought it into the bedroom and "fitted" it. No complaints at all.

Very firm mattress, this is what I was after, but a bit too firm to start with. I am rotating it every week as advised, so hoping that slowly it will settle a bit better. I had to buy a topper to make the nights more comfortable, so this helped alot. Otherwise, no complains for now.

After a month on this mattress, I can say I have been sleeping well and feeling good in the mornings. This is a good thick mattress, and is very supportive. Lesser mattresses can stiffen my back and cause me pain, but with this one I feel fresh in the morning and ready to go.

After about a month of usage I can safely say that is has met my expectations. Its a comfy supportive mattress that is both firm enough and gives enough for an excellent nights sleep. I was worried that the firmness rating might not be what I was hoping but its just the ticket.

I bought around 3 weeks ago and it's the first mattress I've ever had that manages to combine the high level of firmness that I like, with an exceptional level of comfort. The only slight down side is the lack of handles to assist with turning.

Very comfortable to sleep on. Feels squashy when you sit on the edge but nice and firm when you lay down on it. Is reasonably lightweight so is easy to turn around. I think this mattress is excellent value for money...I'm really happy with it.

I love it. Our other mattress was too soft, my back, hips and knees were agony every morning. Within a week of having this one the hip and knee pain was gone and the back pain greatly reduced. 10/10 would order again. Definitely recommend.

Its been good so far as its quite firm but still comfortable for a person who has general pains and aches in the body. My only worry is that its going to lose its shape after a while with continuous use but lets see.

This is the 2nd miracoil mattress ive had though this 1 is an ortho 1 the other wasnt. Its very comfy and i havnt wakened with sore back or shoulder. I would recommend.

Very comfortable firm mattress. The only negative is although it's a light mattress it could do with some handles for easier moving/rotating hence only 4 * for design.
