Long lead time is disappointing and somewhat the norm for many mattresses from this retailer. They make up for it in great customer service and quality but you do have to plan ahead a fair bit.

Introducing TheraPur ActiGel® Alder Mattress, the latest in a growing line of mid-high quality mattresses from the internal brand Therapur. Unique to Dreams this mattress has a lot to offer at a keen price point. Interested to learn more? Let's dive in.

Let's start with the support layer, this sits at the base of the mattress and is what typically makes contact with the base of your bed and houses all the support your back and neck need. In this instance, a firm tension bonnell spring that has been used previously for orthopaedic support thanks to its fair body contouring properties and reasonable price point. This spring support base is more mid-range than premium, however, it is great for the price point and should last a number of years without any discomfort.

Onto the comfort layer and this is where Therapur really shines with its unique ActiGel comfort layer of luxurious quantities which offers many of the comfort properties of memory foam with non of the downsides. Predictably with gel, this layer proves far more breathable than other comfort options in other products and does a great job of offering comfort while keeping you cool. Ultimately we find the ActiGel layers to be ideally suited to those looking for an all-season mattress that will suit all temperatures.

Reviews are still coming in for this product as it is particularly new however, we have experience with the Therapur range at this point and have no doubt this will become a quick fan-favourite thanks to its great price point paired with reliable and comfortable ActiGel.
