We bought the TEMPUR Reign Velvet-Finish Ottoman Bed Frame when we bought our Tempur mattress and we love it. We got it in green and it is such an elegant addition to our master bedroom. The bed frame has a sense of sturdiness that we thought would withstand removal in case we had to move houses. The storage space under the mattress is beyond spacious. Weve found it perfect for storing clothes that we would only wear a few times a year. The one caveat I think is the effort and physical space it takes to assemble the bed. The additional mechanism and weight of the bed frame does mean that you would need to be pretty confident with your assembly skills and have a big enough room to work in if you are opting for self-assembly

I bought during Black Friday week 400 off so I got my moneys worth. The bed feels sturdy and well built, assembled by my partner with a bit of help from me. We chose green colour as it looks the best out of the 4 colours we saw in store. The only reason I have it 4 stars is that the 2 planks at bottom of the box sit directly on the floor and are not the perfect size leaving a gap between them and the floor underneath. I also love the fact that the storage area is not separated in 2 as I have seen with other ottoman beds.

What is the weight ratio on each side of this bed please

Answer: We currently dont specify a weight limit to the bed frames, however all bed frames are tested to the British Standard EN1725 structural test for strength and stability. If this hasn't answered your question, please do let us know and we're happy to look into this further for you. .

Does the "solid base board ottoman storage" sit directly on the floor, or is there an air gap? Wondering if would be a show-stopper for underfloor/carpet heating.

Answer: The base board sit directly on the floor especially when loaded there will be compression on the carpet. You will need to speak to your heating installer and manufacture along with the supplier of the carpet to identify if there is an issue with air circulation and heat transfer.Many thanks

Can anyone tell us the thickness (depth) of headboard, we are trying to measure if we can get headboard upstairs into loft and have a gap between wall and staircase and need to see if headboard would fit so can lift up and over stairs etc.,

I need a large ottoman space with no dividers or poles sticking up as I want to store a large item. Can you confirm if this ottoman has no dividers and also the exact inside width and depth.

Is it easy to open with a heavy mattress?

Answer: The gas pistons used are gas assisted to help with the weight of the mattress, however whether it is heavy or not if personal to you. We would suggest trying this function in store.Thanks

Is the gas strut ENDS on this bed meant to be angled? I also cannot get the screws more than half way in on the left side rail. I don't think the holes has been Properly made.
