What Makes The Airsprung Memory Classic Mattress Great?

Hypoallergenic

This product is unlikely to cause any sort of allergic reaction. Ideal if you suffer from any sort of allergy problems

Made in the UK

These are made and manufactured in the UK, meaning that they all meet the same exceptional quality and durability that we expect from genuine UK manufacturing.

Depth: 24cm

Most experts recommend a minimum 10 inches, 4 inches on the top layer and 6 inches for the core so this size is an ideal balance of size and performance. Generally, the heavier the load the deeper the mattress should be.

Handcrafted in the UK

Handcrafted in the UK means that the product is built here, by people being paid a fair and honest wage using certified and safe products of good quality and construction. UK manufacturing is some of th best in the world and all of that is reflected in this product

Pressure Relief

One of the big complaints when settling into a new mattress is that it does not feel as comfortable as they hoped, where this mattress shines is in the enhanced pressure relief that it offers. Each part of your body exerts different amounts of pressure against the mattress and through the use of springs and foams, these products are able to offer significant pressure relief as a result across the entire body.

Memory Foam

memory foam is one of the most well known materials used in the upper layer of mattresses. Memory foam basically contours to your entire body with moulding properties. Designed by NASA, this material rebounds to your touch and feels like you are floating on a cloud. Memory foam does not necesserily mean soft either, you can still have firm mattresses for those that want them with a bit of memory foam.

Knitted Cover

It is common in the industry to have a knitted cover, these covers can come in a variety of patterns but are typically hard wearing and do not present problems for consumers.

Medium

A Medium firmness mattress is the most common build offered due to the range of suitability offered in such a mattress. This type of mattress will be better suited toward averagely weighted people, while lighter people should opt for a medium-light, and heavier people considering a medium-firm.

Featuring a cosy 2cm layer of memory foam for total comfort

Memory foam helps soothe aches and pains, for a peaceful night's sleep

Memory foam has properties that adapt shape of your body, immediately recovering its original shape once pressure is no longer applied. It adapts to your movements without sinking, ensuring that pressure is not produced, but without the wrapping feeling which would otherwise cause unnatural posture.

Medium firmness rating for the best of both worlds - not too firm or soft

A medium tension mattress like this is the goldilocks of mattress tensions. Not too soft, nor too firm, medium is typically suitable for the vast majority of people that are looking for a good nights sleep. If you are of average build without back or neck problems, this should be a suitable product. If you are of lower BMI and a side sleeper, consider a softer mattress, whereas if you are of a higher BMI and suffer neck and back pain, consider a firmer tension.

A strong and sturdy Supercoil base provides all the support you need

The soft-touch knitted cover is smooth and beautifully designed

No need to turn over, easier to care for

Delivered rolled up - better for the environment, and you!

Hypoallergenic - a good choice if you suffer from allergies

Allergy sufferers often experience the problem of waking up in the middle of the night or having to get up in the morning with a stuffy nose and eyes. The reason why you wake up with a stuffy nose is because your mattress has accumulated dust mites, mould and mildew, all of which are allergens. The solution is a hypoallergenic mattress is made from materials that do not support mould or dust mites. They also have anti-microbial properties that effectively kill any bacteria that may come into contact with it.

Traditional open coil springs

Open Springs offer fairly decent support that is evenly spread across the mattres. However, where budget allows, we would tend to steer people toward a pocket spring mattress, these might be a little bit more money, but the support is superior and consistant across the product

24cm deep

A depth of 24cm is about right for a good quality mattress. While the depth of a mattress is not necessarily a guarantee of quality, you typically cannot get the best comfort and suport out of a thin mattress

5 Year Warranty

5 Years of warranty is huge in an industry that typically only gives 1year. This means that both the retailer and the manufacturer both have extremel confidence in this mattresses ability to stand the test of time. After all, daily usage of a mattress racks up a decent allotment of hours, so to offer a warranty of 5 years is astounding and makes this mattress a top pick.

Soft white fibres

White fibres tend to be a mixture of polester and other non-descript synthetic fibres

Single-sided

Single sided means only one side is comfy. Positives are you only need to rotate the mattress occassionaly rather than the more cumbersome rotate and flip. Downside is the lifespan of the product may suffer as a result, only marginal, but worth mentioning.

Approved by the National Bed Federation

The NBF is one of the most prestigious awarding federations in the industry, helped slightly by the fact that it is one of the only, however, it is still a great source of comfort knowing that this product holds approval by the team

Rolled-up

Rolled up mattresses are ideal for anyone looking at trying to get a mattress up a tight staircase or in a car to bring home from the shops. Do not missunderstand just how troublesome getting a mattress up stairs can be. Heavy and cumbersome, sometimes a rolled up mattress that expands to the side of a full mattress anyway, may be the better option

Fire Resistant

Fire resistant does not mean the product will never catch fire, rather, it will not go up in flames quite so quickly. Resistant to fire in the same way that I am resistant to kisses, sooner or later you end up giving in.

5

Glorious comfort from the foam upper part of the mattress. I feel the undercarriage of springs provides a good balance of support to the foam upper part. I have always had spring mattresses in my long life; now I will definitely have a foam upper part for the rest of my life.

Delivery was great and worth the extra bit of money for someone to take it into my elderly mothers bedroom and take away the old one. She is over the moon with her matttress and says its the most comfortable mattress shes ever slept on.

5

It has a 2cm memory foam layer, so just the right size for comfort without being too hot. I prefer the springs as opposed to an entirely foam mattress. It is not too hard and not too soft (Im about 60kg.)It has a five year warranty

5

My 3 boys, ages 9 to 13, all love them. The 13 yr old is 5 ft 11 and the mattress still suits him well. Good value for money.

Good value and even better comfort, purchased for the spare room but would happily sleep on it (and I do on occasion).
