Westcote Blue Large Island with Wine Rack

We have been holding off buying a island for our kitchen, knowing it was the lynchpin for bringing it all together we wanted something special. When we saw this one, we knew it was the colour and style we wanted.The build quality and paint finish is excellent, giving us a large cupboard for storage, shelving and a wine rack.I was concerned reading the spec that it was a little low at 85cm high, however, on arrival we realised we can adjust the legs and make it a few cm higher making a difference. We would recommend this island and buy it again if we had the chance.

I really liked the island. It was really sturdy and its color was beautiful although it looked bit darker than the photo on the web page. But I had to return it because it was too big to fit in the kitchen in our new house. I would recommend it to a friend with a large kitchen. No hassle with a return. Cotswold agent promptly arranged the return delivery. Now I am waiting for delivery of a new sideboard, which is smaller than the island, from Cotswold. I am sure that the quality of the sideboard must be as good as this island.

This item arrived on time came extremely well packaged. On opening it we found it to be very well made, heavy and solid. We were a little apprehensive about the colour when we ordered it but we're delighted on colour in the flesh. It's a dark matt blue and looks great with our light grey kitchen units. We have it up against a wall so not using it as an island. The drawers go right to the other end as does the cupboard so it's very versatile and you can position it as you wish. Very happy with the quality of the product.

Arrived with a few small marks and defects and a small scratch on the granite. Granite also has swirl marks where the polishing hasnt been finished properly. Given the size and weight of the item the defects were not enough to go through the hassle of getting a replacement which may well be no better. So will live with the issues, annoying though; I expected better.The item was very well packaged, so all defects can only have occurred during manufacture. Poor quality control in place at the factory.

Absolutely delighted with the build quality especially the wood trim and the granite work surface, it looks amazing in our new French kitchen. All three of our Westcote Blue items are above and beyond anything we were expecting and deserve a five star rating for build quality, aesthetics and value for money.

This Island is a lovely colour really pleased with it overall but when arrived & checked over the paint has not covered the island all over so you can see spots of underneath white paint.But saying that we are waiting for a replacement & would highly recommend this product.

I have actually bought 3 of these for a new cookery school I am starting and I am absolutely delighted with them - the quality, appearance and durability of the work stations are just what I was looking for and they complement the rest of the range perfectly.

A fantastic kitchen island which is priced competitively . Very solid and well built and although the colour is different to the kitchen units (French Grey) we think it contrasts nicely. All who see it for the first time love it!

Its a beautifully made piece of furniture and incredibly sturdy considering the delivery men did a runner the minute they thought it wouldnt fit through the door!

We love it. Great colour perfect size and good storage. Delivery was a bit problematic as the delivery company list it !2 weeks later all is well.

This has given us a great addition to our kitchen providing work surface and plenty of storage with accessibility from either side of the unit
