Sussex Painted Large Sideboard

Lovely piece of furniture although has a slightly plastic feel to the painted surfaces. However, it looks really nice. We unpacked it in our conservatory which is shut off from the rest of the house during the winter and are very glad we did - it has been giving off fumes (paint, varnish, glue and very strong smelling). I was also very disappointed that both items came packed with a lot of plastic wrap (like very thick clingfilm) and polystyrene which isn't recyclable. I'm interested in buying another piece of furniture from the Cotswold Company in the future but would like to see changes to the packing materials.

Delivery was very prompt and the guys unpacked it and made sure that everything was ok. The unit looks very good and I am very pleased with it. The top is easy to keep clean.The cupboard space is generous however the shelves are a fixed height. When opening the drawers, it advisable to have the cupboard doors closed as the drawers will scrape the paint off the top edge of the doors.I would perhaps have preferred to have slightly more substantial drawer handles as they feel a little 'tinny', but all in all good value for money. Would recommend the item and the company

This is the fourth item we have purchased from this range and we are extremely pleased with it. It is deeper than the small sideboard which allows for wider tableware items to be stored. The delivery was reasonably prompt considering the situation with COVID 19 and although it could not be placed in the room and unpacked as previously( for obviously reasons), the delivery men were courteous and kindly lifted it over the doorstep into the hallway ( as we stood well back).

I was so pleased with my initial purchase I quickly decided to order another smaller sideboard to compliment the larger one. These are by far the best shaker units I have seen.The quality is excellent and very sturdy. I chose these for my kitchen as they are not as wide as a normal kitchen unit which would have obstructed the opening of an entrance door. Delivery was to time allocated, extremely helpful and pleasant delivery men and would definitely recommend. 10/10.

Love this but wish I,d got the larger one it's a bit narrower than my old one. Very solid and matches the lamp tables. Came assembled which was a bonus and as we got it with the tables and a tv unit the and we paid just 2.50 all the packaging got taken away. Brilliant. Love the fact that the double bit of the cupboard is one big cupboard. My old one was 3 individual sections.

Excellent product providing ideal storage in a timeless design. Great quality workmanship and finish. Excellent value for money. Pleased to pay a bit more for a great delivery and placement service, my wife and I would never have got it into it's final location without your help. I could fill my whole house with these products and still need more.

The side board goes really well with the oval table in the same range. We are more than happy with it. Customer service is excellent and personable. We had a problem with the delivery guys not taking away the packaging although we paid for this service. However this was sorted out quickly by customer services and a refund was given.

Excellent piece of furniture - we are delighted with it - looks modern and is extremely useful. We bought four items from the Sussex Painted range and just love the effect of them in the living room. An excellent purchase.The item was delivered incredibly well packaged and the delivery men unpacked and took away the packaging.

Attractive and good value for money. Arrived very slightly damaged (plastic foot missing from one leg). And delivery men were clearly in a hurry! They asked me if I wanted the sideboard unpacked and looked irritated when I said yes - even though I had paid 10 for unpacking and the packaging materials to be taken away.

We were disappointed when we received our sideboard as it had a faulty leg so had to be returned. We then had to wait another week for it to be collected and another delivered. However, the replacement sideboard came yesterday and is perfect. We are very pleased with it and it looks lovely in our living room.

Delighted with sideboard. Lovely and solid. Plenty of space in cupboards. Delivered next day which was amazing. Extremely well packaged. Colour slightly more 'mushroom' cream than my other furniture (different make) but not a deal-breaker. Would recommend Cotswold Company to anyone.

Genuinely pleased with this piece of funiture which was delivered on time. The only slight issue was that the drawer stop on one of the 3 drawers had not been fixed, I found it in the bottom of one of the cupboards together with the bolt but no nut. Easily rectified though.

We like the product and are very happy with it. However, VERY disappointed to have large box dumped in the kitchen with no help to unpack or remove packaging. We recently bought the 4 drawer model and this was unpacked for us, so had assumed we would get the same service.

A beautiful piece of furniture, looks perfect in our conservatory, very spacious cupboards, good deep drawers, the solid wood top is most attractive. The sideboard arrived promptly and extremely well packaged, and overall I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

We recently bought the Sussex Painted large sideboard for our Conservatory and are very satisfied with the product. It goes very well with other Cotswold furniture that we have bought over recent times, and gladly recommend this product and Cotswold Company.

Arrived when stated and all unpacked. Excellent value for money when we considered other we looked at. Slight issue with chipped paint which was lifting. Soon cured with a little bit of glue. Overall value for money product fairly well constructed.

Not happy because the hinge pin was missing and I was sent a new hinge! You are expecting me to replace the hinge myself but I need to pay someone to do that which I dont expect when ordering a new piece of furniture . This is a poor service.

The Sussex Painted sideboard looks good and fits our space well. But we are disappointed in the drawers which don't open or close easily - they are not solid nor they do they glide in and out. They appear quite lightweight and flimsy.

Good looking, excellent quality and sturdy. Holds lots and its not too deep so doesnt take up too much floor space. The colour (Sussex cream) is a brilliant match for the Burford cream of a Howdens kitchen cupboards. Very pleased.

lOVE THE SIDEBOARD IT FITS PERFECT IT HAS A SLIGHT MARK ON THE TOP BUT OTHER THAN THATI REALLY LIKE IT AND IS EXTREMELY WELL MADE.THIS IS THE SECOND PEICE OF FURNITURE I HAVE BOUGHT FROM COTSWOLD.

Slightly disappointed in the quality of finish and the hang of the doors. It's in a corner or I might have had concerns over this. Still, it didn't cost the earth and it does a job.
