Portobello Painted Breakfast Bar Island with Stools

I am very pleased with the breakfast bar. It is a perfect size for the kitchen and blends in well with our existing cupboards. The cupboard is spacious and perfect to store foodstuffs and deep enough to take dinner plates and other bulky crockery. It appears well made and sturdy. My only concern is the wooden worktop may stain easily, so every effort is being taken to protect the surface by using worktop savers etc. The central foot also had to be unscrewed and removed in order to stabilise the unit. Perhaps adjustable feet on each corner may have helped to overcome this issue. However, overall I am very happy with my purchase. It is a very practical and attractive addition to the kitchen.

Incredible product, well made and nicely finished. We recently replaced our kitchen table with this breakfast bar to start redoing our kitchen and saving space. The breakfast bar looks amazing in our kitchen, fits perfectly and takes up less room than our old table. There is also the huge bonus of additional storage which we desperately needed. Storage space is generous - weve managed to get all our plates and bowls etc. into the top shelf and other kitchen items in the bottom. We enjoy having dinner on the bar every evening and its made the kitchen more social. Very happy!

We absolutely love the island - surprising amount of space in the cupboard and the stools are ideal. Great addition to our kitchen space. Only issue was delivery - we expected some limitations due to covid19 but the delivery chaps didnt even bring it onto the property let alone dropping it near the front door. A disappointing start, but the produce itself is excellent.

Very impressed with quality and finish of the bar island. Perfect in my kitchen, giving me the extra cupboard space plus seating area I needed. Also excellent delivery men who carefully carried it into my flat and made sure it was placed just where I wanted it. Good communication from Cotswold throughout the ordering/delivery stages. Very happy

Fills my space very nicely, is extremely useful and hasbeen much admired by friends andneighbours. I must say a few words about your delivery men too, they were very helpful, when it wouldn't come in through the frontdoor, the next time I saw it was as it came over the top of a 6ft gate atthe back. Very resourceful of them.Very pleasant too.

We are so pleased with our purchase, item is as described and pictured. Great quality and the perfect addition to our kitchen.It was out of stock when we ordered it so had to wait a while for delivery but as soon as it was back in stock delivery was swift and efficient. Would definitely use this company again.

I was comparing this breakfast bar with a similar one at IKEA and so glad I bought the one from cotswold company as its much better quality. The other benefit is this one has a cupboard one side so its great to store everything away behind doors! It looks great... very happy

I am delighted with my purchase and can't understand why I didn't buy it sooner. I was also very impressed by the 2 men who delivered it. It took quite a bit of shifting to get it into my small cottage but it was all done with very good humour

Exactly what we needed for our kitchen. Matches the rest of our kitchen furniture very well.Stools are more compact then expected but work well with the island. It would be very helpful to be able to purchase another two stools.

Lovely piece of furniture that really compliments my kitchen. Gives a lot of extra storage space and surface area along with being a great breakfast bar. Gets wonderful comments from everyone. Delivery service was excellent

Absolutely thrilled with our new island. We seem to enjoy spending more time in our kitchen now and not only is this unit beautiful to look at and very well made it has lots of extra storage! Gorgeous all round.

Great breakfast bar and stools but metal door knobs provided not at all in keeping with this standard - we independently bought light oak wooden door knobs and they look perfect!

Really pleased with the island, Its solid, sturdy and well made. Delivery was prompt and the drivers were friendly and polite - they unpacked it all and took away the rubbish.

Great piece if furniture. I really love it. The only disappointment was the delivery guys who walked through my house in their dirty shoes.

Small problem with the doors catching, but quickly sorted and a replacement delivered, happy with product good delivery team.

I need to know how heat resistant is the top?Can one put a hot mug on it without leaving a mark?Otherwise it is perfect.JC
