Oakland Wine Cabinet

It's a lovely item. The build quality and finishing is very good and in the sale it's good value for money. The only gripe I have with it is that you cannot fit non-standard wine or champagne bottles it the rack, e.g. Laurent Perrier Rose, Bollinger and some of the Prosecco bottles were too bulbous and didn't fit. Which for me is a considerable oversight as they'll need to be stored elsewhere which kind of defeats the object of the item.As a reference standard size champagne bottles do fit. Standard size champagne bottles with a jacket are a very tight squeeze. Basically anything larger than a standard size champagne bottle won't fit.

We were kept informed of our orders progress from purchase to delivery by email. We were also telephoned prior to delivery and they arrived exactly when predicted. The wine cabinet is solid and well built, size and appearance are exactly as on line/in catalogue. Perfect for dining room. My only criticism is that the cabinet came very well packed in a box so we could not inspect it before the delivery driver left and we had to dispose of a lot of packaging.

Absolutely LOVE this wine rack. We've used it to store all my partners Port and it looks fantastic. It's definitely a key feature of the room and we've received so many compliments since buying it, it's always a talking point when people come to see our new home. We love this range so we're about to buy the matching Oakland Bookcase! Can't wait for the newest addition and the many others to come. Cannot praise the Cotswold Company range enough!!

Product is as described.Disappointed with the delivery - driver did not want to accept my description as "unchecked" - he said he would remove the packaging for me to fully check! So, he then stripped off the packaging throwing it all over my living room, asked me to check it, insisted that I score out the word "unchecked" - refused to take any of the packaging and left my house in a right state...............not impressed!!

We have replaced an older similar unit. This one is beautifully made with smooth slightly rounded edges, nice joints and is a lovely piece of furniture. The bottles are not crowded together but slightly spaced out making it look far neater and easier to get out. It is a heavy piece of furniture but is solid oak. Our 3rd piece from Cotswold and as good as the other 2.

Saw this wine rack on the Sunday, phoned Cotswold on the Monday and received it Tuesday afternoon, fantastic service.The wine cabinet is beautiful, well made with beautiful oak. Brilliant wine rack. Great quality wood and was so well packaged on arrival meaning no chance of damage. It is narrow enough not to take up too much room. The two drawers are really surprisingly deep. The delivery boys were nice too, even though they were having a massively busy Friday causing them to be late finished! Pleased!

A beautiful piece of furniture; looks excellent, feels good quality and is definitely value for money based on other pieces we looked at elsewhere. Fits all the wine bottles we've tried so far, and stores them at a good angle. It looks great in our home and we'll certainly use the Cotswold Company for other items in the future.

I was looking to replace some old wine racks with something a little classier and this looked like it fitted the bill. It fits perfectly in the space I had earmarked and takes 28 bottles easily. The two drawers are an added storage bonus. It is well made and finished and blends in well with our other furniture.

absolutely delighted with my new wine table and have spent the last few days perusing the wine sections in various establishments choosing some bottles to give it a finished look. Would recommend this company to anyone and am now considering a coffee table.

Really like it and very pleased but 2 things. The rack does not fit and champagne bottles with wider base - bollinger, Laurent Perrier. Also packet attached to the back of rack using staples.. found staples impossible to remove from wood even with pliers.

What an absolutely beautiful product! It looks fantastic in our home and does an admirable job at storing all our wine (we can attest to it being stable even when full!). Service was fantastic, and delivery was as requested. Highly recommend this product

An aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture well constructed in a semi rustic finish. It looks fabulous when replete with bottles of wine!Value for money is achieved through a manufacturing base in China, which for some, may be a negative.

Unfortunately the top wine shelf came away from its fastening on first use with only three bottles of wine on it. Unlike other Cotswold oak furniture we have purchased this product is poorly made and we are very disappointed with it.

Product good but delivery men not so. They rushed into my home, dumped the product on my kitchen and after a quick signature left for me, a 78 year old pensioner to unwrap it and dispose of the packaging material.Mr T Hunter.

A very sturdy but smart looking piece of furniture - the smoothed edges on the top might not be immediately apparent from the website but are a nice touch. It is exactly what we wanted.
