Luxury Divan Base

Being a former professional furniture upholsterer for 20 years in the United States, I can attest to the quality of the headboard and divan base and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I just moved from the United States to join my new British wife who has lived in England for 54 years. We had been apart for about 1 year due to Covid-19 after getting married in the US last year. Once I finally arrived here, we decided to get a new bed and decided to shop at Dreams. We didn't even need to shop elsewhere since we found the perfect divan base, headboard, and mattress. The new salesperson was great as well as the more experienced salespeople. Everything went very smooth and we absolutely love the new bed. We definitely are getting a better night's sleep...not only because we're finally together but because of the quality of the mattress. We are extremely satisfied with our purchase.

We felt that our Hipnos mattress which we purchased a few years ago, was softer than we had hoped for, and not really giving the desired level of support. We then realised that it may have something to do with the divan base which we have had for some time. Decided to replace it and go for the Luxury Divan Base from Dreams, and so glad we did, as the difference it has made is quite extraordinary and giving us both a far more comfortable and supportive nights sleep. We opted for drawers also, which are incredibly useful for bedding storage. The shop and delivery staff from Dreams were excellent, and the service overall could not have been better, so a big thank you from us both.

On entering the Dreams store we was met by Dom who was friendly welcoming and professional he asked about our requirements budget then took ys to the hi-tech bed which was a new experience and helpful in choosing our new bed Dom showed us a good variety of beds and mattresses and was very helpful we found one we both liked and Dom gave us an estimate as we wanted to look at other bed sellers but after a short look round other stores we went straight back to Dreams asked for Dom and purchased our new bed which we our very happy with and the delivery service was excellent Dreams competitors dont come close great service and wete getting our beauty sleep thank you Dom and Dreams.

Had delivery beginning this month , very happy with it. Well made and is from dreams range of divan bases, was a bit dubious about having company own make divan base, but the original we wanted could not match headboard also could did nit know when they (manufactures ) woul get fabric for base in, have to say and mention sales personnel wren very helpful, when I phoned back in helping emailing us so we could look at Duran bases available so,we could have delivery a lot earlier as headboard was already in stock. Very impressed is an understatement of the help they gave. Now it confirms why we have been purchasing our bedroom furniture and beds etc for over 28 years.

I was over the moon with this purchase in that firstly it actually fit between the wardrobe units in my bedroom and secondly that it perfectly compliments the Tempur Cloud Elite mattress that I have owned for the last 2 years. Previously I had slept on the floor without a base, however I'm so pleased that I chose this one and with the help from the in-store sales assistant, I was confident that I had made the right choice. I opted for the no drawers piton with the bar being between fixed bedside cabinets with castor wheels which allow ease of movement for when I need to change the bedding. This bed is perfect for me. We bought this bed in lockdown 2021 and we were not disappointed. Delivery was booked and available with 3 weeks of ordering and given an accurate delivery slot. The kingsize divan was delivered in 2 parts and well packaged so avoid any damages. it was easy to put together and took my husband less than an hour. The Headboard looks better than it did on the website and overall very pleased with the bed. The drawers are great for storage and open and close easily. We ordered during a 20% off promotion. i would not hesitate to order again from dreams.

I love my new divan base, very sturdy, beautiful material in my favourite colour of grey and the silver ball feet look very stylish against the grey giving the whole look a very luxurious aesthetic. Being a big girl i am feeling very safe and comfortable with this divan base and I feel it will last for years. I bought in the style with 2 drawers on the left hand side, there's plenty enough room to store other bedding /sheets or anything you like, just don't overload. Overall I'm very happy with this divan base.

Fab divan, light and easy to move around with super large drawers. The instructions to link the two halves could be vastly improved and should be WITH the relevant parts not hidden in the wrapping of the divan itself. After calling the sales team I had to wade through loads of irrelevant youtube videos to find the answer. Having to stab through new fabric to find screw holes is so counterintuitive, it took courage to do! So: great product but needs to be more user friendly for self-installation.

I bought a bed frame and mattress from my local store. I was in and out within 15 mins and felt that I left with all information needed. Delivery was set for a certain day and came when stated on text. Guys who delivered were fantastic and helpful, loved that they were shoe booties so they didn't ruin my new carpet without even asking them! The gentleman in the store was kind and very knowledgeable. Would recommend to dear family and friends which I have done already!

Beautiful bed which is well made and sturdy I got the grey which is such a beautiful mid grey colour I also got the four drawer version and the drawers are plenty big enough for storage Came in two halves which are length ways so makes moving it really easy and it’s so easy to put together Put them side to side and just secure the fixing brackets Drawers already in situ Couldn’t be happier This bed replaces a similar one I have had for twenty plus years

I bought the Divan Base with four drawers from Dreams one month ago and the delivery and installation was excellent. The delivery took three weeks, which is understandable because of current pandemic. The delivery and installation service was excellent. The installation only took two minutes. The base is very sturdy and have plenty of storage and take up less floor spaces and it comes with wheels so it was very handy to relocate bed.

We both want to thank Stephen & Joshua for their friendly, professional service. The Divan bed was promptly assembled after all protective packaging was removed. The old original bed and its drawers were also promptly removed for disposal and or recycling. We are so happy with the service and quality of our new bed that we have purchased a King Size divan from Dreams for the main bedroom. Kind regards, Philip & Farrah

I have been using this for a month now. First thing is that this item is good quality. It is let down by the bad design: 1. I ordered the four drawer version. The issue is that I have bedside tables. So the front two drawers are blocked by this and every time I need to put anything or take out, I have to pull the whole bed forward. 2. There is no retainer to hold the two splits so it is hard to get both sides aligned.

Easy to put together and looks very suave, now we just have to repaint the bedroom to match. I love the fact that there’s 4 draws, we need all the storage space we can get and the draws are a good size! Our only issue when putting it together was that we found it weird we had to basically ruin the upholstery to screw it together. I feel this wasn’t necessary and there should be a better way to put both halves together.

I have had this base a few weeks and it is a good sturdy, strong base for my mattress but the drawers are much smaller than my old base and the castors are driving me mad. On laminate floors this base just goes where it wants. I wake up and it is 2 inches from the wall and if I sit on the end it skids in the wall. My other base did not so castors must be very sensitive on this one. So recommend but only for carpet

Very easy to order through the Dreams website. Delivery came when promised with a phone call an hour before to say when they were due. The team wore face masks and adhered to current Government COVID guidelines. The divan was as described on-line. Easy to put together and all the bits & pieces were present and correct. Not much to a 4 drawer divan but my son was pleased with it. Would recommend product and service.

The 5 stars are for the quality and look of the bed base. It also has excellent storage space. The base came in two parts and the only issue we had was putting them together. Problem was that two of the screw holes for the connectors had parts of staples blocking the hole which meant it was very difficult to get the screws in. Was going to give 4 stars for this reason but the quality of the product changed my mind.

Nice looking, compact base, floating base as legs at the bottom are hidden so no more little toes knocked on. Quite hard platform though so if you prefer more bouncy feeling you need to think about spring mattresses. We've got this with one of therapur medium .mattresses and it is a bit too hard for me. We've had the spring base and spring mattresses before though. Got an octaspring topper and it seems ok now.

I had very bad experiences with 3 different beds from a previous company as they all started creaking within a few weeks of having them. I decided to pay the extra and buy from a specialised bed company and I wish I’d done this in the first place. Prompt and polite delivery and the bed is very comfortable and most importantly, silent. I will definitely use Dreams again in the future.

Tried out several mattresses on several bases, but found having a good firm base made the mattress more comfortable. It's easy to put together and the draws open and close easily. The only criticism I can give is that there is only one slot on each side to secure the headboard, whereas had there been two on each side it would have made the headboard more firmly attached.

Dry happy with the purchase of the divan base. Wanted a small double. Dreams had a good range in that size. Settled in the luxury base as the material is a good quality and thickness and the perfect colour. Delivery was prompt and good. Delivery guys carried it up to bedroom, explain Ed how to assemble which was super easy and took away all the packaging.

We had a wooden frame bed before this which creaked and moved as soon as you went near it. This is great, gives us more space in our bedroom, has great storage drawers on both sides and is a great height. We love climbing into it at night without a squeak in sound and the design is really great, nice material and goes perfectly with the rest of our products.

I couldn’t be happier with this divan!! I only wish I’d bought this one first! Bought two other divans from other shops but the quality was terrible but this one is brilliant. The drawers are big & very sturdy, the colour is gorgeous & the finish is brilliant - even the little things and bits that aren’t on show have been finished to a fantastic standard

After shopping around, on-line and high Street, I found this one following my visit to Dreams. All of the bases I was interested in were more affordable than similar from other stores, and a larger selection in store. I am so pleased I waited to have checked out all places before deciding as Dreams was my last store to check. Absolutely delighted.

After waiting to visit a showroom to fully experience the bed technology we were in heaven. The assistant was knowledgeable warm and friendly. After trying around 10 beds this was the last design we tried. Heavenly! This bed is like sleeping on a cloud! My partner can no longer feel that I'm a fidget.Delivery was fairly swift which was fantastic.

I am pleased with this bed. Bad one small problem inside one drawer it was either glue or sap had dripped from a wooden support beam and stuck to the drawer base. Some white spirit soon got that off and I cleaned the wooden beam and put some of the excess bed material over it. All seems okay now. I used to hate divans but now I rather like them.

After coming home from a long days work there's nothing better than drifting off in a comfortable, good looking and sturdy bed. I've never used Dreams before but I'll certainly use them again. I opted in for the delivery and putting the bed together service and the two guys were very friendly and did a great job. Fully recommend this product!

Following a bad experience with a frame bed from another company we bought this divan base. It is so comfortable and sturdy! Lovely height with mattress. Easy to assemble with a clasp at both ends. We went for the two drawer option. Drawer size great and they open and close really smoothly. Great price too! I would highly recommend this bed!

I'm really happy with my divan base. Easy to assemble as came in 2 halves and just required a few bolts. Lovely colour and smart looking and the 4 drawers are a nice size for storage. Just a word of warning, take care when removing the material which prevents drawers from opening during transit as I managed to cut my finger on a staple.

Luxury Divan best buy and relatively easy to set up. I purchased a mattress in the first instance assuming my old base would suffice, how wrong was I... I then went on to Dreams website and found what sounded like the perfect base (correct) really pleased with this product and would recommend. Thank you Dreams for a good nights sleep.

It's a great looking Base. Seems very high quality. I haven't had it long but it seems like it will last. Only 1 problem is the construction of one of the drawers because it is really tight to get back under the bed. But I'm sure that's a 1 in 1000 chance or something. Overall worth the purchase if you're looking for a decent Base.

I have brought this base about 6 weeks and it is the perfect base very steerdy looks very nice also I t comes with these great chrome casters so it move very easy if you need to move it for a reason it was very simple to put together also very solid to lie on when sleeping I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy it

Bought this to replace my old divan base from Dreams. We ordered the superking. We have a superking headboard but the new base only has one headboard bolt on each side which are not secure enough for the headboard. Previous divan base had 2 bolts each side. So in effect it's a basic base and has no luxury feel to it

We have had our Tempur mattress and base for 5 weeks now. It is fab. Previously, my husband complained about his back every morning on waking. Since having the new mattress, his back has improved considerably, no complaining anymore each day! We are both getting great night's sleep. It was well worth the outlay

Couldn't ask for more. Castors were a bit confusing as no instructions and they kept falling out of their slots but once bed was in place, the weight of the bed seemed to pop them in firmly. Great finish, material is lovely and good quality. Good height as we are both tall and wanted this. Overall very happy!

I love the luxury ash fabric and colour on the divan base. It’s given the divan base a new lease of life by making it look more modern and contributes to the look and feel of the room. Solid build frame and functioning draws. I highly recommend if like me you’re lacking for storage space for your bed linen.

I love this divan base. It is sturdy and the drawers provide some much needed storage space (I can fit two pillows in one drawer). It is simple to put the divan together although if there are two of you it will be easier as you need to lift it up to attach the castors. The finished divan looks very smart.

Its a few centimetres too short for the tempur mattress that it was supposed to fit. It came up as the recommended base but if you want a perfect fit don't buy this one. It looks ok with a duvet over the top and I couldn't be bothered to change it but you might want to take your own measurements first.

This was not my first choice but the base that I ordered was not available - I was not told until 4days before delivery so was given little choice of availability . I then had to wait another 2 weeks for delivery- 6 in total!! However this is very nice although I did not want, or need, 4 drawers.

I bought this a month ago. The delivery was on time and the assembly team were careful and efficient. They gave good info on the product and the customer service. The bed is a in pictures. The drawers work well and are spacious, but I would not out too heavy stuff in there. The bed looks nice.

We bought this bed to go in the master room as we were swapping from the smaller room to make it a spare room and have the master room for ourselves. Very happy with the purchase, fits the rooms colour theme and has so much storage. More than happy and would recommend both this bed and Dreams.

Have now used the bed for a few weeks and it has definitley improved my sleep quality Probably the most i have ever spent too but hopefully its going to be worth it in the long run The base itself isnt as heavy as i thought it would be but certainly better quality than the one it replaced

Purchased this base along with the mattress and headboard in store, we opted for the one without drawers as we didn’t require the extra space. It was easy enough to put together, as I watched my husband do it! Happy that there are many feet that come with it so the support is spread out.

We needed a divan base that was higher off the ground and allowed us to dangle our feet off the end by re-using the tailboard as a headboard. We are very pleased with the colour and the build quality and the two men who delivered it and set it up were efficient and cheerful.

Had this delivered two weeks ago and it is great, love the charcoal colour it will go with everything. Best bed I have ever bought which is a relief as the price is rather intimidating. Only slight negative is the sturdiness of the drawers but I guess you can't have it all!

Don’t go to bed whilst inebriated, it’s a long way down to the floor if you roll the wrong way. Seriously though I’ve been having some excellent nights sleep and relatively pain free days since purchasing this mattress which is wonderful for my lower back problems.

The double divan base wit drawers is really well made and was delivered early on the agreed day. The delivery team were extremely friendly and efficient and took away our existing divans to be fully recycled. Great products, staff and service and we are delighted.

I purchased this luxury divan base about 3 weeks ago really pleased great design, I also purchased at the same time the luxury storage box and whiteworth headboard in ash colour the fabric has a luxury feel and they all match perfectly my bedroom looks great

I have problems with my back but this has improved my posture so much. I normally toss and turn all night just because of the back pain but this mattress has helped so much I have 4 drawers on this bed which allow lots of space I love it well worth the price

The colour is as advertised. This was a little bit of a concern as I needed it to match up with some other furnishings. It does and I'm really happy. The assembly was slightly awkward putting the brackets together but once I sussed it, the rest was a doddle.

I bought this bed a month ago for my daughter who was moving back home after uni. The sales person was incredibly helpful and the delivery guys were early and really pleasant. They worked quickly assembling the bed and took away all the rubbish.

Our Divan Base and Headboard is everything is promised to be - the 4 drawers are really useful and the wheels which are usually rubbish on beds I have had before are really good quality - knowing what I know now I would absolutely buy this again

Great base, its high so good if you are tall. Unfortunately due to covid they could only deliver but not set this up. Took watching a few youtube videos to set up. However we were refunded the installation fee we paid. I recommend this product.

A quality product. Slightly higher than the previous base, and super king rather than king size, so the extra height does make the bed take up more room in the bedroom. I do appreciate the drawers, as I can put the other season's duvet in it.

Easy to install, provides a good mattress base. Drawers can be chosen to be left or right (or both), make sure you specify when you order. The delivery people will tell you how to assemble the two halves, as there are no printed instructions.

I bought this bed three weeks ago for a guest bedroom. Very comfortable! Only complaint is that the holes for attaching the link to join the two parts of the divan base had not been drilled. So had to use a drill to assemble the base.

I had to replace my divan bed and this is a much better product than my previous one from silentnight. The structure is a lot more secure and sturdy, especially when you have an active 2 year old who wants to jump up and down on the bed!

What a wonderful product, lovely lines and so elegant but also so practical as it saves space. So much can be stored in the drawers which leaves other furniture in the bedroom free to keep it neat and tidy - no more clutter - wonderful.

We brought this about three weeks ago and are very happy with the divan base - didn’t think about it being on a solid wooden floor with castors though! We need to purchase feet or a nice rug to stop it moving about when you sit on it.

We brought this recently and find this base simple in design, a good colour - not intrusive, with 4 drawers that are a good size and drawers that open smoothly. The wheels/castors are of excellent quality and the bed moves easily.

We had this Bed delivered a month ago and we are so happy with it. It’s lovely to get a really good nights sleep and uninterrupted sleep. The mattress and the divan base are really really well made and comfortable. Would recommend!

Bought the new lux bed base which is lovely but it really should have pre made holes for the connectors to be fitted. It's so difficult to fit together that I have up as the mattress is heavy to seems to keep the base in one piece.

We bought the kingsize base with 4 drawers. Delivery was prompt, safe and as stated. I'm really pleased with the bed base. Was easy to fit the legs and headboard. Drawers are of a good size and the overall quality is great.

We are extremely happy with our upholstered divan base in grey fabric. The base came in two half’s for ease of handling. Came with four large draws, for an extra £60. Very well made definitely by our next bed from dreams

with the mattress. be very careful if you have wooden floor and went for the wheels though like i did, im having to find ways so it dont roll forward. apart from that, great bed, seems very strong, will shop at dreams again

Bought thsi bed earlier this month, delivery lads were great and very helful, we were kept informed at all times of the expoected delivery day and time. Product was easy to assemble, and fitted together as you would expect

This divan is very good and seems to be very sturdy. The drawers feel like they are hard wearing but only time will tell. Very happy with the look and feel of the divan. Looks great in our newly decorated room. Good value.

I bought this divan a couple of weeks ago. The quality seems really good so far, looks luxurious indeed and no creaking noises like the previous one I had from JL. Looks sturdy, and the material is really nice and strong.

Excellent divan bed base with 4 x drawers, which complements my bedroom décor and provides valuable storage space. Easy to manoeuvre and to put together and great communication for delivery times - they arrived early!

It is a good quality practical product, as it is super king, but you can spilt it in two separate beds. This means if you have small flat and live upstairs, the boxes will fit everywhere and you don't need to downsize.

I bought the superking size version. The bed is simple and effective, good bit of storage (if you choose the options to have drawers put in). Great for those who break slat style beds easy. Value for money I would say

Bought new divan c/w mattress a few weeks ago, unfortunately two different colours of divan had been packed together. Dreams delivered the correct divan and sorted the issue the very same morning....excellent service.

We were initially a bit concerned about how high the bed was but quickly got used to it. i got caught out (first time I’ve bought a divan) and thought the headboard was part of the bed. Had to order one separately.

My partner is very clumsy and very heavy when he moves about therefore a nice sturdy bed was needed! It looks very expensive and sleek. Very impressed overall the service was quick and the guys were very polite!

Our bed base arrived pretty quickly and well wrapped, so easy to connect the two parts and we noticed how good the quality was and how nice the colour was, looks so modern and stylish in our room, very pleased.

The bed is lovely. Quality is great. Only point I’d like to make is that I thought it would come as two separate parts and it came as a whole single bed so I had to dismantle to stairs to get it to the bedroom.

I bought this a month ago and it gives good support to the mattress, However, it would receive a five star rating if it had four fixing points (two each side) for the bedhead instead of just one each side.

I brought this a month ago and have slept like a baby since. It is comfy and has handy drawers. The draws are large and can deep so I can fit alot inside them. The base is well built and made of good fabric

The head board is and optional extra! This is not made very clear when ordering and so we ended up without a headboard. However, the base is so nice that we were happy not add the headboard in the end
