All sofas come with some variant of cushion, with each having a depicted firmness whether it is soft, medium or hard. The firmness mat soften over time but regardless, you should purchase relative to your own preference as the firmness is build up of composition and density and works in a similar fashion to mattresses. We recommend medium as the one side fit's all approach as this will allow you to sink into the sofa while still supporting your body.
