Elmley Cream Large Island

The demo item in store looked ideal and fantastic. When it arrived it had a huge hole in the door. tried to contact customer service and sent photos of the damage - no response. Several calls later with no reply and no respo se yo emails I contacted the showroom where staff re-sent the pictures and asked for someone to contact me. Nothing happened. Showroom tried again then a call was received from a disinterested person who arranged for a replacement. It is due to arrive tomorrow. I await delivery with trepidation. Surely when an item costs 899 might one expect the door to be made from decent wood rather than cardboard/hardboard. SEE photoMoral to the tale - don't believe all you are told by sales people - once they have your money they loose all interest - cyheck what the doors are made of and check the item and photograph defects before the delivery men leave.

Looks good but has the following annoying faults:1.Set of double doors do not line up .2.A split in one of the painted upright joints.3.The centre leg underneath does not sit on the floor , it is approx 1/2" short.4.Some chips in the oak surrounding the granite work top.5.There are no pre drilled holes for the runners for the baskets.6.Some after care instructions would be useful.

Whilst a little expensive this kitchen island is lovely it fits into our kitchen beautifully and is just the right height for someone who is only 5ft 2". The quality is exceptional against other manufacturers of similar products. Delivery was on time and the guys who delivered were swift and efficient. Would definitely shop again with Cotswold Co. I've always wanted an island and I'm glad I waited to get this one. It's gorgeous and really makes the kitchen come together. I really like that the drawers go all the way to the other side. If you have long utensils, this is ideal. It came with runners for the wooden crates. The delivery guys were also superb. They unpacked it and were very helpful.

Delighted with my Sussex Island. Complements the kitchen Beautifully and gives it a new look. Very sturdy build and holds everything I want. Delivery company were excellent and took great care in unpacking and taking away packaging. They were very mindful of not marking flooring etc. Excellent experience all round.

This island is a quality piece of furniture that just adds to the kitchen in so many ways. Quite a talking point too especially from friends who've seen it. Really pleased with the quality and build. As a note it is wise to have the delivers unpack and pre inspect before you accept. No problems this end though.

Very pleased with the new island.It looks lovely and so much storage space.Very good quality and value for money particularly with the fifteen percent off with a voucher from you store in Stow on the Wold.Only tiny criticism is that the cupboard doors are a rather hard to pull open against the magnet closures.

Beautifully made and finished. Lots of storage space and nice touches such as runners for the crates. The only small issue that the doors don't open separately - you have to open both to get into the cupboard space - but that's no big deal. Very good match to the Sussex painted collection.

Absolutely lovely I cant stop looking at it. Perfect fit for my kitchen. Superb quality even the crates are top quality and the runners for the crates. Very fast delivery, it was all very simple and top quality

Wet pleased with this piece. Quality good and it fits exactly as we planned. Shame we had to wait 4 weeks for delivery but it was actually sooner than anticipated so that was great.
