Two full size singles in one

We had looked for a single bed with trundle bed for a while but found the trundle bed of those available were narrower and shorter then the top bed. We were delighted when we came upon yours. It offers a queen size double or two 3ft singles. In addition we were given a choice on the mattress quality. The overall quality and comfort is excellent. We are now able to offer great accommodation for our friends and family whilst freeing up the room by reverting back to a space saving single when our small granddaughter comes to stay. Excellent!

Perfect

Bought this bed for my daughter and she has her friend sleep most weekends so the guest bed is perfect. My daughter has to share her small bedroom with her sister so when the guest bed is out they put all of the beds together to make one big bed!! They do look comfy. I would definitely recommend this bed easy to put the guest bed up and down and the delivery team were fantastic. I have narrow stairs so was tricky getting it up but the two guys never gave up and did it without any damage to the bed or property. Thank you Dreams

Fantastic Concept

The ordering of the bed, delivery all went without a hitch and staff were helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was the fold-up bed is not level, so at the one end of the bed the mattresses are level and at the other they are not, and it it quite a noticeable difference so I'm disappointed about that. I was going to report the problem but decided not to as then collecting the bed is a problem when you work. It would have meant taking a day off as it would have been done at the companies convenience, not ours.

Exactly what we needed!

I needed to turn a single room into a double and quickly! I just ordered the base, as I already had 2 single mattresses. It was delivered quickly and on time. The double bed works perfectly - is solid and takes my 62, 14 1/2 stone son and his girlfriend easily. I cant comment on the durability as we havent had it long, but so far so good.

Easy to assemble

Bought this a few weeks ago for my son as he had outgrown his other bed. It was easy to assemble (took less than 20 minutes). The mattress I bought is 25cm deep (will need to get a thinner mattress for roll out), which makes the bed seem quite high but my son, who is only 5, has no problem getting in and out of it. He loves his new bed.

Divan Trundle Bed

This is an excellent frame at an even more excellent price. The fact that you can use a standard single mattress on both the main bed and the guest pull out were what sold it to us. We also got a matching headboard, again without breaking the bank. We loved it so much that also ordered another frame for our other son's bedroom too!

Looks good

I bought this Divan base couple of weeks ago for my 13 year old son. He is pleased, it looks good and he can use the base underneath when his friends stay over. I'm not sure about the divan stand, it does not look very stable but as I said we only had it for a month so we will wait and see. Overall we are happy with it

Excelling quality, sturdy and well made

I bought this for my daughter to move out of a toddler bed. I had concerns over the sturdiness of it as we often have to sleep in the bed with her to get her to settle so it needed to take my weight and hers. I'm pleased to say it does that comfortably and have been impressed with the build quality of it for the price.

Neat and functional

We bought this for a guest bedroom which is also used as an office. The bed was easy to fit together and looks neat as a single. We have already used both singles for a kids sleepover and it was very easy to set up and put away. Functional and reasonable priced, I would recommend without hesitation.

Exactly what I wanted

Guest Bed

I bought this for the spare bedroom. Fits in very well, easy to make, and is useful when the grandchildren stay as they have a full size bed each. Purchased good mattresses separately at the same time and the children say that they are very comfortable. Very impressed with this bed.

Nice and compact

Initially looking for a sofa bed but all were so expensive and offered a only a narrow double. This is much better offering flexibility in configurations. Stored pushed up against the wall with scatter cushions and a throw making it like a large couch too. And Is quite sturdy too.

Ideal product for our needs

Saves space

I bought a classic guest divan base last month so that my twin grand children can stay the night. I was very impressed with how the guest divan base slides out from under the bed.When you slide out the guest divan base there are folding legs so it is off the floor.

Fantastic Guest Bed

I purchased this bed for our 3rd small bedroom and it fits perfectly in the space. The roll out bed works very well and is one of the few Guest Divan beds that have both beds ending up at the same height. Arrived quickly and on time and very well priced.

Looks good

Only bought this recently and it has not had a lot of use, but it looks good and I am told is very comfy. If I had owned this longer I may have given it 5 stars, but to be honest it is to early to tell, although I fully expect it to last well.

Great sturdy bed

Just received this bed great value for money and very sturdy. Just what we needed for my sons bedroom. Even more pleased that mattresses from our previous bunk beds fitted fine no need to go out and buy a smaller mattress for underneath.

Great space saving bed!

Ideal guest bed

Really pleased

I bought this for our small room that was used when family called. The room was too small for a standard double, but this guest divan is ideal. Double when required, but ideal if only one guest is staying.

Great basic divan with guest bed

Great to have 2 beds in the space of one. Only issue is that the bottom pull out bed part doesn't lock into place when its up which makes me a little nervous but its not a major issue and does the job

I brought this March 2020. Arrived and looks exactly like the pictures. Very study when opened up and felt generous as a single bed. Easy to manoeuvre and expand.

Needs bigger feet

The feet on the base are so small that they dig into the carpet. This makes it impossible to slide the bed around and also leaves deep indentations into the carpet.

Which mattress would you recommend to fit the trundle given the 20cm height limit? What is the benefit of 26 vs 3 trundle?

Answer: We have many different mattresses that you could choose from. Examples of mattresses that are less than 20cm are:- Doze Aria, Doze Hallie, Doze Evan, Doze Cora rolled mattresses- Harris traditional spring mattress- Watson traditional spring mattress- Wintour pocket spring mattress- Flaxby Nature's Refine or Flaxby Nature's Element mattressThere is no benefit to the 2'6 or the 3' trundle, it's your personal preference.

What are the dimensions of the main part of the Classic Single Guest Divan Base? and what is the difference between this one and the Classic Guest Divan Base which is 50 more?

Answer: Good MorningThe dimensions for the frame are:A - Height - 42cm/17inchB - Length - 197cm/78inchC - Width - 90cm/36inchUnfortunately the clearance version of this base is no longer available as we have sold through the stock. This was because it was made using a historic fabric that is now unfortunately unavailable.

For the divan do you recommend a 3 European mattress (ie 90x2metres) or just a 3 single (ie 90x190)?

Answer: You will need two mattresses when purchasing the guest bed with the trundle. It is available in either a 2ft'6 or a 3ft option. Please ensure that these are standard UK sizes (190cm in length). It would also be worth mentioning that the trundle mattress must be no higher then 20cm. Kind Regards. Dreams

Would the top bed take a European single mattress 99 x 200cm?

Answer: You will need two mattresses when purchasing the guest bed with the trundle. It is available in either a 2ft'6 or a 3ft option. Please ensure that these are standard UK sizes (190cm in length). It would also be worth mentioning that the trundle mattress must be no higher then 20cm.

What mattresses are used in the photos on line for this bed (both parts)?

Answer: Unfortunately we no longer sell the mattresses included in the photos. We recommend a 3'0 single sized mattress for the divan and either a 2'6 or a 3'0 for the trundle depending on which size you choose. Please note that the trundle mattress should be a maximum depth of 20cm.

Is it possible for the two mattresses chosen to be able to be zipped together?

Answer: We do not offer a standard single zip and link option in the mattress range. However we do have a few brands that offer made to measure mattresses which could suit you. I would advise calling the telesales team or visiting a local store for more information. .

Can you supply the divan base without the trundle bed and if so, what would be the discount please

Answer: We offer a 'Classic Divan Base' which is essentially the same as the guest base but without the trundle. The pricing of this starts at 80 for a single. The product code for this item is 363-00335 - you can type this into the search bar online to view the product.

What mattress do you recommend with it

Answer: Any mattress can be used as the main mattress for the divan base - the choice of mattress will be dependent on your preferred mattress type and comfort grade. For the trundle, the mattress used must be 20cm in height or less.

Hi there, what's the maximum weight of the person who sleeps on the bed?

Answer: Thank you for reaching out with your question. Unfortunately we currently dont specify a weight limit to the divans, however all divans are tested to the British Standard EN1725 structural test for strength and stability.Thanks,Dreams.

Can you add a headboard to this? Also how do you make sure you are buying the option with two 3ft frames?

Answer: Yes we have a range of headboards available to be used with this divan these can be found on the headboard page. To purchase the option with two 3ft frames, please select the 3'0 single option from the drop down.

Will a normal single size mattress ( under 20cm deep) fit the trundle bed , or is a special , smaller mattress required ? Do you offer a disposal service for my old base ?

Answer: The trundle bed will take a standard single mattress, up to 20cm deep. We do offer a disposal/recycle service which can be selected through the checkout process where you can choose the item to be taken away.

Please confirm the recommended dimension of the guest bed mattress as presumably the length is shorter than a standard single to be able to fit underneath? I appreciate the height is 20cm.

Answer: The trundle mattress can either be a standard single (90 x 190cm) or a small single (75 x 190cm) depending on what option you choose. The divan is slightly longer so that the mattress can fit beneath it.

What colour does the blue option look in real life? Online it looks black/charcoal to me. Is it navy?

Answer: The blue fabric can look different in different lighting. It is lighter in person so may be worth visiting a store to double check. The colour is steel blue, so there is a mix of blue and grey tones.

Does the matress which goes underneath need to be shorter than a standard single or can I buy a standard size single matress so long as not too thick?? It is not clear from the description. Thank you

Answer: The Classic Divan Guest Bed is available to purchase in either a small single or single. The main sleeping area will be a single, it is the size of the guest area that can be selected.

Do you get a mattress with the bed ?

Answer: This guest divan base does not include a mattress and therefore the price displayed is for the divan only. If you require a mattress, this will need to be purchased separately.

Could I use Zip and link mattresses with the beds? this might be more comfortable for adults using as a double bed?

Answer: Unfortunately a zip and link mattress would be too long for this, as the length of this base is 190cm and the length of a zip and link mattress is normally 200cm.

I have misplaced the headboard bolts that come with the bed. Can you tell me what size bolts I need to get as a replacement?

Answer: Please get in contact with the customer service team as they will be able to clarify this for you and provide advice on how to source replacement bolts. .

What's the maximum weight both the bed and the trundle can hold?
