Chester Grey Small Bookcase

Totally delighted with our new bookcase .Thanks to a special offer it arrived even more quickly than expected . The online information about how the colouring would team with a Farrow and Ball paint was very useful and helped us make the perfect choice for the paint used in our bedroom. It now makes a very stylish and useful addition to the room, housing an evergrowing collection of paperbacks.

Nice item, only problem shelves are quite fixed so large books present a problem. Little put out that the product was then subject of a further discount once I had ordered but not delivered had the item delivered. Perhaps to keep customer goodwill companies could add the discount to items that had been ordered but not sent out for delivery.

Love the small Chester bookcase. Arrived perfectly packaged on time and it is great to store our dvd collection, cds etc. The top is just right size to contain the WiFi and telephone with plenty of room for the radio. Now looking forward to the delivery of the large tv cupboard to complete the look in our family room.

Well built, but it I would not really recommend as the shelf heights cannot be adjusted. It only really holds fairly small books, and no use for hardbacks as they are too tall.Adjustable feet would also be really useful.Other products from the Cotswold Company have both of these, so it is not difficult.

Product overall very good, but I specifically checked before purchase if it came with adjustable shelves (as indicated in photos on the website). I was assured it did. Of course it arrived without adjustable shelves. I moved the fixed shelves to avoid the hassle of having it replaced.

Although I had problems with the delivery times not being adhered to, the cotswold company were very helpful and sorted the delivery very quickly. The quality of the bookcase seems very good and was just what I was looking for. I certainly will use the company again.

Item arrived damaged. Disappointed as waited in all day for the delivery. Definitely not easy to organise an exchange, 10 days later and still waiting for the exchange. Not the best customer service and not something I'd expect from a reputable company such as this.

A neat compact bookcase. Shame that on arrival and unpacking it was found that one shelf was damaged with someone having made an attempt at a repair the hole with some kind of wood filler which had also broken off.Pictures previously submitted to customer services

Looks great but I wish it had been clearer that the shelves were not adjustable as shown in video. It was only after taking delivery did I spot the line stating not as shown. Great as a display case but only the top will take my smallest books standing upright.

Really happy with this item. Very sturdy and colour of the wood and the paint was exactly what I wanted. Nice pale oak with a true grey paint, not French grey which can tend to be quite green. Fast delivery on this item and packaged really well.

This is a perfect little addition to our hallway. Its quite light but very good quality. Lovely piece of furniture and the colours really compliment each other. It allows you to have a modern touch of grey with the warming wood on top.

I am so pleased with the quality and design of this piece of furniture. It fits well with my light oak furniture and has given the room a new look. I will definitely get another item in this range to lift the room even more.

Delighted with it for a spare bedroom - just which there was a chest of drawers small enough to match it in the same room!Note - the shelves are not adjustable though it says they are on the website I saw.

Perfect bookcase for a home with limited space, still gives that elegant feel. Fits most regular sized books, DVDs etc. Shelves aren't adjustable but still able to store plenty

Beautiful little bookcase which complements my sideboard perfectly. My husband has made a limed oak wine bottle stand to house half a dozen bottles along the bottom shelf.

Perfect it fits in the corner and hides all the wires and plugs and its usual high quality finish. I cant fault the delivery system either. My prefered shop for furniture.

The Chester bookcase is really good quality and well built bookcase. It looks lovely in my sons bedroom and would definitely recommend this product.

Small but perfect for what we wanted...looks good. Only the top shelf is suitable for hard back novels and the shelves are not adjustable.

Unfortunately this isn't level - the feet needed to be levelled in order to drop the furniture wobbling.
